I'm a Scorpio, I completely understand. They'll grow up, just give them time, and it will be sudden. I used to do the same crap, say something has to be one way and not think about the consequences until it was already done, and my mom used to look at me and say, "That's the brakes of life." Which would make me even more mad but I did get over it. Sagittarius and Scorpio usually get along pretty good because they're so much alike, unless the other person is whacked, like in my case here at work. Lucky for my mom, I'm an only child

Although it is suppose to clear up this afternoon and hit the 60's, it's overcast and windy at the moment..did walk the gardens this morning, Cathy was already on her way to houseclean so gabbed with her for a few minutes...had LeeAnn not been sick yesterday and not likely to come in today I would most likely have booked the day as 'sick'..

I had booked a few days after each long weekend but Paul wanted us to take vacation as weeks, not sick days so I booked the first week in August..not sure how I'll spend it, might go travelling or might just sit and enjoy a week of relaxation, but I'm smarter than that, know if I stay home there will be no relaxation, I'll find something to do..lol

Liz, our fall starts in September, by mid or late November we are likely to see snow..when I think of it that way, I'd best enjoy the next 3 months..not far away is it??? Lordy I hate the thought of that white stuff...if it wasn't for working think I'd spend the winter in Clearwater, Florida with mom...maybe another year!

Liz, went back to look at photo, let me take a guess, could the structure be used for 'smoking meats' or is it for 'burning garbage'???? let's see how close I come to it's real purpose..

Crissy, I was an only child....and pretty much loner. And, as you hear my birth sign...you will see my "shell" was in place. They call the sign "cancer" but after all the cancer in my life...I prefer "Moon Child". LOL Funny you say the Scorpio/Sag. are usually best friends...as that is what the two oldest are. And the youngest 18...a Scorpio...doesn't get along with either of them, and they prefer a big distance. They try to deal with her....but from her illness...she has deeper issues, and hard to deal with.

Well, I was the Diva of Ditz this morning, took a dive down the back porch. Landed on the left knee....twisted the right ankle pretty bad...and landing with the palms down also. Dang good thing I suppose I am so "fluffy" as it padded me somewhat. However, getting it all back up off the ground was not a good site. Especially with the dog wacking me in the head with her frisbee.

I need some more coffee. I will be back in a bit.

Never tasted a pomegranate .. you have some on the cafe table (dried) for display..are they sweet? love the brilliant yellow of the pond lily...don't you find you almost have to mortgage the house to afford pond plants..along the wetlands on my way home are beautiful yellow masses of flowers..I was going to go pick some but Darlene said we call them 'skunk plants' for good reason, not the best smelling, not sure if we are talking about same plant because I have seen them in nurseries...

You're right Liz, Fuyu and Hachia Persimmons, They grow great in CA. I used to work at a fresh produce distributor, Liz and anyone else in CA, you may have heard of Piranha Produce out of Modesto, CA, now Turlock, CA? I don't remember which one is used for Persimmon Cookies, I'm thinking Fuyu.

LindaKay, did have the best of intentions when I made May quilt blocks, started to cut the June ones and I didn't read or understand I guess the cut sizes, screwed up and now I have to go out Thursday night after work and pick up more material..drats and more drats...any suggestions to make it easier..guess I'd best look what I need for July and get both done and mail together....did you manage to get yours done yesterday??? if not done at least started...my problem is I haven't done quilting in an eternity and when I moved about 5 years ago several boxes went missing, my material for one so now I have to purchase everything I need...gives me an idea, brought my lunch, little specialty knitting and quilting shop just down the road, might drop in there and pick up what I need...

Tubby those birdhouses are fantastic. I also like the squirrel feeders. Don't particularly like squirrels but they are a fact of life here so I feed them hoping they will leave my birdfeeders alone!! Now to figure out what to do about the plants they like.

I hate to put this in writing...kauz once I do it is out there....but I have been of late ready to pack and leave. I just can't take any more of the hurt. DH is no support. He does not like confrontations or conflict. He always has to be the good guy. But, I am litereally at the end of my rope. If it wasn't for my son...I would be living in my van in a park somewhere. I am living for the fact youngest DD goes to college in the fall.

Well, the sun just came out, and I have two more flats of plants to get in the ground. I think I am going to take myself and my giant shih-tzu outside...and try and plant. Hopefully she won't go along behind me and pull them up.

Oh Debbie, my heart is breaking for you..that is quite a decision to make..perhaps you need a week or so away to let them see just how much you do for them and are always there for them...overwhelming when it seems there is only one parent who is the one trying to lead them on the straight and narrow....

you've not finished grieving and then with not feeling well YOU HAVE to take some time for yourself...3 bedrooms at my house, come and spend a few weeks, I work during the day, but there is always someone dropping in that you'd love, in the evenings we could go touring, on the weekends we'd just enjoy...no sleeping in a van...you need friends who love and care for you..you've a big sister here remember..

Horoscopes can be dead on sometimes. I am a Gemini, and Todd is a scorpio. I know that most of the books say they do not mix, but when they do, it is a match made in heaven! I believe that. Even though both signs have an evil, and an angel side, we get along very well, and hardly ever have a dis-agreement.

Morning for calls from my girlfriends...Aline just called to say she's got 8 big posts and wonders if I would like them, well I would like to make a fence behind the patio hiding neighbors unkept yard...

June called to ask me to borrow my Fabricland Card, members get 66 1/2 % off material and sewing supplies, at same time she'll pick up some more outdoor sunbrella to make cushions for the 2 chairs I've painted red...might be enough to make a little pad for the table as well...

Then she reminded me of the Cookstown garage sale..town about 1 hr. from home that every street has a garage sale..omg, what trouble that would get me in, she thinks it's this Saturday ... she'll call be back to confirm the date..knows it is in June but not sure which Sat.

With Kyle's Bike-A-Thon on Sunday that would about fill in my weekend..

I don't remember hearing that Fabricland was in USA but very well could have originated in USA...many of our local fabric stores are closing..less choice now without crossing the border to visit Joanne's Fabrics...how's the day going now Crissy? Some days it just doesn't pay to get up and at it...

I brought my lunch with me today, never do that but sooo much food left over from Sunday .. I thought I'd go to the fabric shop down the street but Suzanne wanted to go to the park so off to the park we went..finally it's sunshine in my neck of the woods...

Bev we have missed you too. I am so sorry about Snuggles, glad she just went to sleep and didn't suffer with a lot of pain. After Tiga passes we're not getting any pets for a while, she's our only one and we keep calling her 'our daughter.' It is just like having a child.

Isn't that the truth Crissy...Sailor will be my last dog, love her to death and it will soon be time to make the decision..NO MORE..I want to do some travelling and it means always having to have someone take care of her..as for the kitties, well, means someone has to stop in from time to time, supply water and food and they fend for themselves..also, it's just too traumatic..

Does anyone have a phone number for 1Anjl? I know she has been sick, and in and out of the hospital, but she is needed on the co op forum. There are a bunch of us that ordered plants from buried treasure, and he has not sent out the plants, nor is he posting anymore. Don't know what happened to him. Well, 1Anjl was running the co-op, and most of us paid with pay pal through her, and now we don't want to file a dispute with pay pal to get out money back, becasue it would ruin her ratings! So if anyone has her number, please try to find out if she has any answers or help?

Betty, buried treasure was a husband and wife team, that did start up thier own nursery, but no one is answering any emails or dmails. it has been weeks, and everyone that got stiffed, is getting pretty mad! We each lost anywhere from $30.00 to $50.00.

Could it be that they've had some hardship in the family Linda Kay and have had to go away, something that they'd not take time to d-mail someone..anyone live in their neck of the woods..not nice to lose that much money...with all that's happening with AnnMarie, sure hope you can find a solution...

Neighbor whose children had the party, never ceased, always something happening to him, just came over and asked if he put a couple of hoses to my water supply could he use the water...his water main broke at basement level, has a flood, no water and they can't come until tomorrow sometime...

Feel sorry for HIM, he's such a hard worker...
