Morning ladies.
Long, long night last night. Fed Le Patient every hour, just to keep him/her hydrated. It seems to be doing okay.
Coffee's on.. cold milk, cereal, bagels and cream cheese and western omellettes. For those trying to get to the 107 marker... fresh fruits.

I'm crawling back to bed. Body's so tired, gonna steal a few more zzzzzzzzzzs before Kel heads to work.

good morning ladies! get some rest Jaye, in on my layover, have to go back out in a few though.
thanks for the coffee, think I'll have the cream cheese bagels. um, sounds good.
I'd like to get to the 107 mark too. that's another story , another day.

Okay, I have to admit there was quite a bit of drooling going on around the neighbor's house....to quote Marion we saw some FINE "eye candy"! I love my husband to death...but I ain't DEAD!!!!

What a good laugh I had reading the past posts. I had a fun birthday last night. After dinner of bbq hamburgers, corn on the cob etc, we played some games on the wii thingie. We bowled, skied, hula hoops,went down the river, oh geez I can't remember all the names of the games. I laughed so hard I had to run for the bathroom,lol. Mom was just saying that we need to do that once a month. I can see how a person could lose weight doing those games.

BJ, do not feel guilty about me sending you 2 more plants. I have tons of cuttings from the brugs that I have plus I've got some cuttings from Jaye. So I have lots of brugs. I have a lot of ground around here that need some TLC. I will take before and after pictures.

Aww, BJ, I am so sorry to hear about Danny's Cocketiel. It is so sad to to have a loved pet pass, but to have birdie attacked and run off must have been a devestating sight for him...Just horrific! I am glad you all can get to him for some support...Will say a little prayer he doesn't stay depressed. I think it is real nice idea to get him a dog, another pet to love will help...

Saturday was a beautiful day! Most of the time the weather was awsom...
A little misting/drizzle was a nice touch to take the heat away. Had to giggle as Gwen and Steven thought it was Rain, lol all ten drops.
Anyway, Was a pleasure to share coffee and the breakfast spread BJ put out, as stated no one went hungry...

Yep, Cookie needed a bib when we crashed the neighbor's party. Actually, I think all the ladies needed to wipe their chin when we got back to the house. The neighbor is a fine looking man... and a real sweety. I love him to death. He had just finished building an addition onto his house... a dormitory room upstairs, with a spiral staircase leading up to it from the outdoor living space below... He reports that he can now sleep 30 people at his lake house now, without putting anyone on the floor ... it's simply exquisite... and I really just wanted the ladies to see that... Cookie decided the neighbor was more of an attraction than the room, though... so he got a LOT of attention. AND it was his birthday, so we had to sing to him before we left.

Thanks for the breakfast, Jaye... such a sweet lady to get up so early to feed the masses, then go back to bed... always the caretaker, aren't you.

Sheesh... I think I was at the 107marker in the 3rd grade. I'll never see that again... so I don't try. I'll have the western omelets.

just got back from the vet, back to one hand typing. i wasn't too comfy with his temp, and i'm glad i rushed him this morning to be checked.
vet says this one needs to be hydrated every 10 minutes and warm. plus 1/10th of 1 cc antibiotics. vet dewormed him too. just as sickly as ss hope. guess i am an optimist.
when kel returns, he will have to do his best to catch the last sibling.
good thing is, the vet didn't charge me a penny.
so.. will just lurk, unless i'm required to answer.

I'm too tall to weigh 107, my backbone and ribs would be sticking out, about 135 is perfect for me but I'm at 165, so 30 pounds wouldn't hurt me at all! I don't remember weighing 107 either, I must have been in 6th grade, I got to 125 in 8th grade and stayed there through high school and most of my 20's, then something happened! LOL

I have so many rocks in my red clay dirt it's not even funny, they grow in the dirt. If anyone would like to come dig up rocks, I have a lifetime's worth :)

That pic above with me and Cookie... see my bean plants in the background that I planted in the flower bed? Well, Cookie and I picked my first crop of beans that day. Some of them actually made it into the house to put on the veggie tray to dip in the dill dip... but we ate some right off the bush...

After rides, we took a drive out to Philis'.
OH my gosh, Talk about a garden!! Spectacular and I was in Awe.

Joycet, I have not eaten all my carmels yet. I am savoring them. I will not let my kids have any of them because they will just eat all of them. Thank you so much they are delightful.

I am on my work computer today and it is so much easier to reply and understand all that goes on than trying to do it on my iphone. I spent the entire night last night staring at my phone and laughing. When I went to take a shower last night he was a little put off when I wanted to take my phone with me to the shower. He said on the entire trip home and when we were visiting Danny, "Are you ever going to put your phone down"? Then the next thing he would say was "What's going on" because I would be laughing histerically. Then, "Are you going to read me some of it"? I said no... It's a ladies club sorrry.... Now, he wants to get an iphone and chat too. See what you started BJ....

Actually, it's not an exclusive club... we'd welcome men to join us... but I'm afraid we'd embarrass most men with some of the conversations we have here... never know what some of these women will come up with to talk openly about.

Judy... I am soooo excited about actually growing food for the first time. But, actually picking it right off the plant and eating it right then and there was just too exciting. I'm sure I'll get over it in time... but this year it's just intriguing me.

Gwen... you think you're hooked now... wait till you get involved in one of our swaps... the whole office will want to know what's up with you when you log on here... Right Phyllis?

Jaye, I have been thinking alot about you and the kitty. The next couple of days are so important for Tuxedo. But, with your loving nature the kitty should be fine. Do you know if the kitty is a girl or a boy? Do you have it on a heating blanket? Have you tried some Dextrose to help with energy? Sounds like you have all the bases covered. I will keep you in my prayers.

What goes on when you get involved in one of the swaps? Everyone swaps plants?

They have full grown cows too, ladies... she's just partial to the baby cows.
They all have names, and she knows each one by their name... some of them even come to her when she calls their name.
AND, they don't eat them... can't eat something you named, ya know.

Yep... Kris left that little turtle in the plate of radishes when she brought them in to me... then waited to see how long it would take me to notice...

She'll also have a "Flat Envelope Swap" soon, and it's all about seeing how much you can stuff into a standard mailing envie... and still get the post office to consider it an envie... some people used a bull dozer to flatten theirs, I think.

So, my excitment keeps on growing...
Talked with my brother last night, he is getting married in July, ROFLOL...
Stood in front of the judge yesterday and said Yep really gonna do this.
I am so happy and proud of him, he's come a very long way and I am extra happy he has found the perfect women for himself...Also, I will be meeting my niece for the first time in years. She was only 3 when her ma took her away to Pennsylvania. She is now 18 and going to the wedding!! Woohoooo, think i will be the first to meet her too, she will be flying in to Chicago and riding the rest of the way with us...I am so lucky...and lol, yep, I got a big cheesy grin over that .

Bye Mom... I need to do the same. I haven't got much work done since I have been playing all morning with my new toy. I will check back later in the afternoon.

BJ congratulations on the hot rod, girl friend. I thought we had ate y'all out of house and home but apparently not. LOL Naw, don't bother dolling up with rouge, just wear diamond crusted driving gloves. Blawaahaha Please know that you and Don showed all of us such a good time. I didn't want to leave and I;m ready to go back. Still living out of my suit case but that will end as soon as I get up from here.

Yep I agree BJ, your gazebo was the perfect spot for relaxing. My memory is fixed on our laughs and stories told by the flickering Tiki lights. My time with Marion and Kris will be everlasting too. We are too close to each other not to get together once in a while. Take care of that bummed knee, Marion. It was way too puffy. Mine just need some weight taken off of them. They are carrying too heavy a lard-load.

I'll be busy cleaning in preparation for a shower for Heather. Did I tell y'all my youngest son is getting married? July 11th in Gatlinburg. And a wedding shower is June 20th. It was originally set for the 27th, invitations sent out and everything. But yesterday, Heather finds out a cousin of hers is getting married on the 27th and our shower will have to be rescheduled. Bummer what a mess. I'm now trying to call most and will send out postcards for the folks I can't get in touch with by phones. How do you spell S T R E S S?
