Welcome everyone to our new thread. Feel free to share your bird pictures with us.

Starting off with a Ring-billed Gull, taken at the falls here.
DAILY PICS VOL #218
This young finch smacked 'herself'? into the dining room window and fell into a bucket of water
I just put down. I dove in the bucket to save her, well ok, I reached in and held it till it was
warm in the sun and slowly placed it on my lap and talked birdie talk till it got tired of the
conversation and flew away.
Methodical-- you know it could be, I'm not the most gifted
identifying detective, and the bird was all wet and flew with
a bunch of yellow finch that I just photographed when this
thing happened.
This is a pine sisken I was use to seeing and never
really studied it too close.
And thank you for setting me straight.
Very nice pics burn! Thanks for starting the new thread!
Nice pics Luckie, dirt and Met!
Frank, what's a joy watching those babies blue birds. DIOZ7b, you've patience of Jobe, nice job on talking the little bird back to health after such injury. Methodical, love your T.T. they're adorable. Luckiemomoftoo, pretty female cardinal and pretty bluejay. Burn, I love the gull, downy wp and especially the hummingbird. It's so colorful!
My Eastern Phoebe, the little one isn't shy at all. It posed for picture when I'm barely few feet away.
Love those shots of the Yellow head black bird, Duc.
Nice pics ...great rescue work there dirt!!
We had been so excited about the Indigo Buntings coming to use the feeder. They were getting to be some what regular, when last week one evening a hawk flew thru right before dusk. I think it did get a dove. But since then the bunting have not come back. I know they were safe as I saw them fly away. I am hoping they wi come back.
Mrs. Red-winged Blackbird has been around quite a bit this spring!
Nice pics nanny!
I was surprised to see that neither one of my bird houses were used so far. The House Wren started to take sticks into the newer one put up but it was too difficult with the round hole reducer so she gave up.
I was hoping to go out to a local nature park but it looks like our weather is going to be too overcast the next few days.
I did go out and buy a few plants for Hummers; 1 Cardinal Flower and 1 Monarda "Jacob Cline". Two Lantana for Butterflies.
Methodical, your little House Finch is beautiful.
Pelle, I wonder why your houses are filled. I have birds waiting close as one set fledges, the next tenant is bringing in more nesting materials. Your new blooms sound wonderful.
Nanny, cute photos! You're lucky you can get the red-winged in your yard. I have to go a couple miles to our park to see any.
Hi duc, I have to wonder whether it's because I have so many Grackles in the yard.
I know all the birds are intimidated by the Grackles. I didn't have that many of them last year. I know you have to take what you get when putting up feeders but this year we've been over run with them.
I just watched Tufted Titmouse come into the yard and they (Grackles) went right after them. Not a good situation so I need to get a new game plan.
I've been reading report after report of Grackles stealing baby birds of other species out of the nest and eating them. A very ugly side of wildlife.

Indeed! I saw grackles after house sparrows a few years ago.
Ive had something odd going on lately with house sparrows. This spring I've found three heads laying around and today I found one body, no head. I have to wonder what is going on, since I'm not seeing any suspicious activity.
This spring I've found three heads laying around
Pulling heads off sounds like cats
Brown-headed Cowbird NOT playing nice with the Red-winged Blackbird
Male B-hC; maybe trying to keep the female R-wB off its nest while the female B-hC dives in to lay an egg?
Resin
I just love that yellow-headed blackbird, duc.
Mrs. Ed - We see songbird body parts lying around in areas where falcons are nesting in Buffalo.
Nice photos, everyone.
One of the joys of birding is actually photographing a bird that you hoped to photograph. I don't get a lot of opportunities with the 'Summer Tanager'.
Here's three photos of the Summer Tanager taken this past weekend. The first and second photos were taken high up in a tree. The wind was blowing the Tanager back-and-forth, often shielded by the leaves.
Wow, what brilliant coloring on your tanager!!!
Nice linth! I'd like to add some Tanagers to my life list.
Well OP, can't say that I have falcons here! I haven't even seen a hawk for a while.
