and I third the motion. oh so exciting,,,another 'reunion' of the sistahs and I just may make that one!
Think I will start on my 'special' gifts now,,,lol,,,,give me something to do and look forward too, besides rain!
I had to sign off earlier,,,we got lightning terrible! popping all around us, lights kept going off,,and as quick as the flash, the thunder would roll,,,sometimes sounded like gunfire.
I know we need the rain,,,but good heavens,,,I'm tired of wading in and out...I kid you not,,,I am under water here!
I would take a picture of my lakefront property, but youngest son loaded a program on my camera chip for older son,,,and older son has not installed it on his pc yet, so I can't take pics. I have an extra chip,,,but that thing is nowhere to be found! Funny how things just 'walk' off or away around here. I'm so tired of 'Mr. didn't have it' living here. lol Or 'mr. I didn't do it,,,or Mr. not me! Know what I mean? lol

wow...looks like it was a great time! I'm going to do my best to show up on the doorstep at the next one.. I'd love to meet everyone and give you all hugs :)

Jaye, I have 4 feral kittens living under my porch along with their momma "Hissy Fit"..they're about 7 weeks old now and it's hilarious to watch them scatter like I'm the big bad wolf when I go outside. I was able to get pictures of them before I went on my fast trip to Iowa, so I'll get them scanned and show them off. They're so adorable, but I have to find a no kill shelter and hope that they'll come catch them. I don't need 5 wild cats out here, cause the landlord would have fits :)

Wildcats,,lol,,,yes I inherited a cat like that once. It just showed up,,my doberman was carrying on one night, and I went out to find she had one cornered on the edge of my pond. When I got the dog, the kitty scurried under the house. It took months, but she finally became friends with me,,,she became friends with my doberman long before that. It was like she adopted the dog as her mother. I called her calico,,,she was all colors,,,turned into a beautiful cat. She is now on a ranch in Ocala.

So nice to see a picture of you, but so sad that your Glen is not with you to celebrate your anniversary. I lost my husbans four days before our 8th anniversary. Would have been married 12 years the past April 26th. Being here at my mom's where I have all of his pictures and his ashes has made me miss him alot lately. I know what you are going through, so just remember to take one day at a time and remember the good times

Chris, I wouldn't know how I'd cope if all of a sudden, Kel's taken away from me. But I know for sure, I'll have you all to turn to, and after I met these fine sistahs, I believe not one of them will leave me alone.

The kitty made it!! I fed it every half hour some diluted condensed milk with an eye dropper. It was so weak, can't even stand up nor raise its' head.. now it's walking, purring and s***ting!! LOL!! Eyes are cleaned.. were shut tight from infection. Fully opened now. We'll bring it to a vet tomorrow.
Now sistahs.. what should I call it? It's jet black! Whoever gave the name I like will get a prize!
Yeah.. name that kitty!!!

I wanted to ^_^. Oh I was looking at the website where I order my candle stuff from. They have some frog containers. After I come back from my trip to Oregon I'm going to ordering a bunch of their containers. And getting back to my candle making so I can do some craft shows to save money for the next Sistah Memorial Bash ^_^

I cant load pictures on our temporary connection but It truly sounds like you all had a wonderful time at BJ's house.. We only wish we could have been there for all the fun..
Did I see next years is here in Ohio?? Yippeeee I will get to meet everyone after all..

We spent the last 3 days working on my brother in laws garage with the family (or a few of them).. He was issued a warning to get the roof repaired so my FIL went out and bought all the supplie sto completely edo the entire roof becauseit was fallig apart and cant be repaired.. So we sank new posts and cut the whole top off l;eaving the walls and basically built a pole barn. Th ewalls are his responsibility but the rest is almost done now, just a few more hours tomorrow closing in the ends. Max dad gave us all a heart attack today when he fell threw a piece of plywood that hadn tbeen nailed down but luckily he landed on his feet and only ended up with a few scratches.. i was the only female working on the project but it was a geat time.. I love working with power tools and it really impressed the famiy that showed up to help.. My MIL took care of the kids for those working and made sure we all ate great food twice a day since we were all working so hard.. I learned alot about the family and even got to see my cousin I havent seen in 12 years that lives down the alley.. He was so surprised especially when he mt Max (he knew him in school).. lol

I Have GREAT NEWS for a change.. One of the barbershops who told me they were not hiring called me.. The owner said he decided he wanted to have me come in and work if I hadnt found anythig. He said he ouldnt stop wandering if he was making a mistake by not hiring me so Thursday I am going in and doing a haircut on Max to show him how I work and then if he wants to see another Max agreed I can give him a flat top instead of his usual.. So things are looking up.. Just need to get my foot in the door and get some flyers copied to distibute in the area to draw in more people... He has no idea the effort that I will put intobringing in new customres to fill my chair.. I cant wait to show him hes not going to regret hiring me..

Well I better run before my pc gives up again.. I will check out the photos tomorrow from the library when I return our movies..

Morning everyone. Jaye I say "Angel" for your kitty. Since she is the struggling runt of them all! She truely is a blessed on to make it this far.

Looking forward to the party next year! If it is held up North, just make sure it is nice and warm.
Maybe it should be in central US, since there are several from the west coast that want to come too? Like Colorado, or Missouri? Just a thought?

Morning everyone.
Just back from the vet with special kitty. Vet says she has only 10 percent chance of making it, but you know us, we don't give up.
She's all fur and bones, too tiny to give her an IV drip to keep her hydrated. But she got her dose of antibiotics.
I'll be feeding her straight Pedialyte every half hour. Praying her little body will make it, then I'll start feeding her kitty formula.

Jaye oh we are thta way about pets see dumped ext. prayers for her.

right now, lola won't leave the kitty. and my other house cats mill around. like a quiet watch over her.

Keep us posted please? Is there another momma cat around that can help nurse it?
