Have we been using a small priority box...........too bad.........so sad.......(LOL)
I was going to send a lot..........we need to change to a big box next time.........the only difference in cost of shipping is 4.85 to 6.50 or 7.00 for lots of room. But it is not fair to change in the middle of the game.
Round Robin???
I thought the box was big enough. There was plenty of room for the bucket full of leaves and still room around the edge for small plantlets. Was the box down-sized during it's trip?
I was teasing Nichole whom I know well. I know what she wants so badly (LOL)
I think I used the 12x12x8 size non-flat rate box . . . I put in one of the kids' plastic Easter buckets to put stuff in along with the shredded paper. I'm always afraid of squishing leaves, so I put them inside the bucket, and the bucket inside the box. ^_^
Oh my goodness.........12x12x8 is big box...................that is the best size of all.................
Left the bucket in there.
Pat
Yes, the bucket is still there, and is sooo full!!
Well, anyone feel free to take it out. ^_^
I'll be watching for the box tomorrow. Lou
It was processed thru Indianapolis last night! WooHoo!!
Sorry if I'm being a pest. But, usps.com and DG are two of the few websites I can still access while at work (no more email!).
(ok, I'll admit it . . . I'm looking forward to the one in the Fall now, too!)
I had the box of goodies waiting for me when I got home from work. It certainly is full of goodies. I took out Ma'Corsage, Strep Nery's, Jolly Magic,Navy Girl, And Rob' Bahama Mama. I had to trash Rob's Who Dunnit, Rum Punch, and Optimara Modesty.
There are still a lot of leaves to choose . I will get it in the mail to MrsBonnie tomorrow.
I will post the confirmation number tomorrow evening. Thanks for organizing this. I definitely want to be in on next RR. Lou
This is great fun to watch the progress of our first round robin! I still think Miss Nichole needs to be our Round Robin president, she had done a great job with it.Sign me up for the fall one please! ^_^
^_^
can't wait. lol
bonnie
Oh, the suspense is just killing me! ^_^
Mrsbonnie- Confirmation # is #0308 1400 0001 6171 3728.
Ihope it arrives quickly and in good condition. The box is getting a little worn, so you might want to pick up a new box at the post office if you get a chance. Lou
Ooh, and you guys are not too far from each other . . . depending on the usps, it could possibly arrive tomorrow! ^_^
I think it would be neat to have a starter plant round robin. We have time to get babies going for September or October, right? I'm hoping to have some interesting babies well on their way by then:)
Pat
I agree 100 percent..............starter plants are the best!!!
You can put plants of any size into the robin box. If you have starters, add starters. I will have a few 'just past starter size' plants for the next one, too!
What will make it even more fun is that more people will participate in the fall (I think they are waiting to see how this one goes!). If there are enough participants, we may split into two RR's . . . and you could decide if you want to be in one or both! I'm full of ideas this morning!

We might do one with starter plants and one with leaves???? Lou
I agree with Lou and Gail....starter plants for one, leaves for another. This one was great. I really enjoyed following the box and seeing what each person takes. Thanks again Nichole!!
Well, one with plants, at least. Starter, established - the size of the plant shouldn't be limited. Definitely one with leaves!
Hi All;
Just got the box & was so excited. Most everything in the box looks good, did'ent have to throw away anything.I kept. leaves of spanish cavalier, opt. annabell & a small starter of av victory, looks like maybe a mini, not sure as it's a baby,& some fertlizer. This is just too much fun, can't wait to do it again. lol I will get it back in the mail on monday as the post office is now closed.viostrep, i need your name & address to ship it to you next.

The only Victory in FC2 is:

The addresses aren't in the box anymore? I had printed everyones addresses on labels . . .

I will dmail you her mailing information.
Thank You Nicole ,
I don't know how to Dmail anyone who hasn't already Dmailed me so when I read Bonnie needed my address I didn't know if I should post it here or ask someone how to Dmail Bonnie , I would have figured it out but it just threw me a bit , thank you and I do have Gail's address so if the names and addresses aren't there it is ok , oh and Bonnie your grand daughter is sooooooooooooo adorable , you must be soooooooooo happy , congrats and best wishes she is just lovely :)
viostrep..........when you go to your info........and click read dmail.............down on the right hand side, it says 'compose' mail.....................then you just type in the user name of the person you are wanting to dmail................
is that right, Nichole?
viostrep, just go to the post where mrsbonnie said she needed your address. If you click on mrsbonnie, on the right of the post, it will come up and ask if you want to demail her. click on it and you can send her your address that way.
Laughing out loud as I had forgotten you could just click someone's name and the dmail would appear .............
Thank you Gail and Ima ,
I am still figuring things out so thank you for the help :)
Connie
Both of the above would be correct! ^_^
I certainly thought I put the label page back in the box. If I didn't,my bad. Please forgive me!!!! I really appreciated having the labels in the box. Great idea!! You are so good at this RR stuff, you should be our CEO of RR's. Lou
I am not taking part in this first RR,but it certainly seems everyone is very excited and pleased with the CEO!!
Lynn, you must join us in the fall with starter plants..........that will be fun and people can get started now propagating!! I just love surprise packages of any kind and any plants or leaves.
Gail,
I love surprise boxes!! ^_^. I just want to be sure I have plenty to share, both with those who have helped me,and others. Also, I am curious if anyone wants NOID plants. I know I have extras of those.
Lynn
I am curious about noids also. I have a Smithiantha with no name and I didn't know if I should start some babies.
Pat
I have a few noids that I have because I like the blooms. There are actually quite a few people that grow noids for farmers markets, etc. or even on ebay or marketplace once in a while. Great for someone who wants to practice propagating before trying on named varieties.
We'll have a thoughts/suggestions thread before starting the next RR. Probably start the conversation late August, start gathering participants mid-september, and start RR's in October?
Nichole
