Round Robin???

MSU, MS(Zone 8a)

Connie, that is a good idea to go ahead and label the bags!

Gail,
I should probably put this on a different thread, but since it is already here, yes the leaf was rooted in half and half and domed. It is still in half and half, but has been out of the dome for at least two weeks.Because of the mix and the tiny cup it is in,it needs water daily.Maybe I should redome it or plant it a regular mix. Your HO is fine for me ^_^.
That said, the RR sounds like so much fun,but I do wonder how these boxes will travel back and forth during the hot weather?? You may need to unwrap and rewrap things to find out exactly what is in there and to make sure things are not too wet or too dry,and get them sent to the next person ASAP.I have things I could add to the box,but I am really very curious to see if it works.

I think it could work but only if people are willing to take what is in the box and then refresh with all new...........that isn't hard..............a set of leaves isn't going to make it more than one trip in this heat................it would be fun for everyone to see what everyone else gets and sends...............if you did this I would even be willing to play...........but feel free to play without me.........I don't mean to put a damper on it..........It is just that I know that unless the box is totally refreshed, it won't work.........

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I am so excited because I have a simple corel program but did not know what all it would do.........I have to play with it tomorrow ..........look carefully and I put my name on the picture...........will have to figure out how I want to do it permanently.

We have to do something soon about the round robin because I am dreaming of african violets, literally, LOL! There should be a warning label on the pots about their addictive nature.

I completely missed this thread. I went to Texas to visit over the Holiday weekend and I'm just now getting caught up on all the new pictures and threads. I would like to get in on the RR if it is not closed. Lou

That last one Gail is really nice. I'm experimenting and trying out different things on the Corel MediaOne. Have lots to learn but it is fun!

Here is attempt number one. Unfortunately I used one of my old DG pics and I can't get rid of the imprint on top but anyway It's all just practice right now.

Andalusia, AL(Zone 8b)

The blueberries are good! But when you pick alot of pounds a week you get sick of them really fast ^_^

Hope the box makes it to you fast Eileen.Track andconfirm says it left Orlando today.

Whitsett, NC(Zone 8a)

Feel free to send as many as you'd like my way!

(Lynn) Omaha, NE(Zone 5a)

Nichole,
I have rooted leaves with tiny babies of Pretty Miss Kelly and Handmade for you,but I am worried it is too hot to ship.Should I wait until they get bigger or just send leaves?

Lynn

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

Blueberries! Ours won't ripen til August! I buy the big containers at Costco til then--they are surprisingly good. I could pick tem all day and eat them all night! LOL

Whitsett, NC(Zone 8a)

Lynn - my temps for the next 10 days are a bit high, aren't they? Yours are fine, lucky you! If you want (and if you have space), you can let the babies grow a bit for the next month or so, and if I see that we have a cold front moving in, I can let you know? I recently saw on ebay that someone was selling cool packs . . . I could send you one of those, too, if space is an issue for you. Of course, I'll never turn down leaves, either! It is up to you! Just let me know, and I will paypal you for shipping.

I love blueberries! I remember once when I was very young - I want to say it was in Alaska - we went blueberry picking once. I'd love to try and grow them here, but I'm afraid the heat would do them in! Unless . . . are they a winter grower? ^_^
