I see a stray cleome there.. I will have to take it out.. I will send it off to someone .. in a gesture of friendship I am sure.. ,

Another long night of a watching someone breathe.. Pauline, you are a strong woman with a strong heart, however, kind heart would describe u better.. thanks, Son for staying up there while I am here.. a long week has passed, work, hospital, home to my Gardens.. last year , I had made "curtains" in different areas, curtaiins of morning glories, and other vines, Then I surrounded myself with my large prenniel planers mixed in with some annuals for instant colour..

I lined up the north east and northwst corner barels with other barrels and planters and pots, had the picnic table on my south side of the garden patio table, loaded it up with flowers for part of my "south privacy wall" grew mg curtains on the south fence and behind me in the garden, and on the outside of the northest part of the patio , covering the viiew to the north as well(pic from july08)

Debra - Love this photo: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=6634532 And the size of your backyard is wonderful. Lots of room for all kinds of garden beds! You need an arch somewhere with MG vines growing on it! :-)

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Becky and all, thanks. I guess this should be in my journal, but that is hard to keep and this is easier.. tonight when I got home from the hospital, I found all kinds of things popping up..
lantana, coleus, zinnia, and more see the pretty varigated leaves>

my sister sent e this hanging planter.. uhmmm.. it reminds me of the shoe bag I used this ast winter to hold mg planters .. anyway, here is what is in it.. i didn't notice the little tomatoe plant in there with the shibouri, and tonight the coral vine and the cathedral bells were up..

thisis the south fence I am trying to cover up.. my darling daughter, karin bought a hugepiece of lattice work wood to put here in one fell swoop, but I jus have to wait now, because there are about 11 different vines planted in that fence area.. and they are doing really good..

I had to string up the netting here from the swirly stick to the top of the gutter for the vines in these baskets, and the tomatoe basket is now caught up in holding wire..they are really going now, about three inches a day it seems.. I love morning glories, they act like there is no tommorrow..
