palmbob, off the top of my head, I would not think your Euphorbia would be associated as a "tropical" plant. I hope someone else will chime in here for you though.

Tropical Plants #40
Dale that looks to me like Echeveria Topsy Turvy. I have it, love it, low water, low maint
Thank you!!! DonnaB gave me some Red Giant Turk's Caps a couple years ago that I would also like to work into that arrangement. Maybe to the right and left of the Ensentes. I have some Siam Rubies that I want to stick between the Ensentes and 3 Alocasia Sarians to 1/2 circle the bird bath. Is that too much?
I detect one of us has gotten her co-op order. I can never get enough variegated. Also got coleus from the other co-op. Can't go wrong however you put them together.
Hi Christy!!! Happy Memorial Day!!!! I got some but it will take the whole order for the picture to be complete! and some is stuff that I've had in pots for years!!!
Tropical gardens have to have a jungley, crowded look. No such thing as too many trops and no such thing as enough variegated plants.
LOL!!! I'll keep that in mine!!!!
LOL!!! My back will too!!!
i love pinstripe ginger. slower grower than my var. alpinia zerumbet but I don't care. love it all the same.
rita, also love the very first two plants you posted in this thread, esp. the golden xanadu. I googled for it and couldn't find it.
cool looking pin stripe ginger. Anytime you want to divide, I'll make room for them. :)
Me too.
Nery, where did you get your pin stripe? Growing slower than the var. zerumbet is a positive in my mind.
yes, the plain ol white butterfly gingers multiply like rabbits.
Look what I got today on the bargain rack at Lowe's for $4! The leaves were just a little burnt on the edge and it looked wilted, but blooming like crazy. They had two, I should have bought the other one too. May be I will go back tomorrow. It had about 4 stems in there, so I can divide them if needed.
lili I heard the plant sale at my Lowe's was great but I didn't make time to ck it out. your yellow shrimps are great looking.
A, I think I got my pinstripe locally at least 4 yrs ago.
I have candy cane curcumas but they have not broken dormancy yet. They are always very late.
I believe I have that one too and only one of 3 has awakened. true, very late to come out.
Oooh! I just looked those up too and they are very pretty.... drooling.....
Wow that is pretty Sunshine!
Pacenciarita, thanks! your day lillies are beautiful!! Great photos BTW.
Rita's duranta got me thinking about something. Is there a ground cover variety or can you prune the regular hard enough to keep it very low?
I saw a plant I am fairly sure was duranta used heavily as a ground cover in Hawaii. It looked especially interesting when set off by purple hemigraphis.
Is this duranta or something else?
