You funny!!!!! I'm glad my students weren't in my room when I opened this thread cause they would have thought I was crazy as loud as I laughed when I saw your picture.

Hey Jerry

Happy 40th what for Rita????? What cultivar of hibbie is that in your picture? Thanks to Rita I have caught the hibbie bug. I bought two when she was down here in Rockport, went back and bought another when she posted a picture of what she bought down here, and just recently ordered and received 5 for my Mother's day present. I am currently working on an order to Tried and True Hibiscus. Yeah I'd say I've got it bad

Are you sure it's Rita's birthday? She's not listed under the birthdays and Rita is not 40 this year but I'll never tell her age!!!!!! I was thinking maybe anniversary.

Is it the big 50 this year for you, RJ????

NO NO, RITA will only be 39 on her next BDAY Sept.24th.
The BIG YEA is for the 40th. Tropical Plant ForumThread, as she thought it would ever get to #25. SO a BIGGER YEA to Placenciarita!!

Rj, I read your blog. I too, like your phrase "garden pilot". My auto pilot always takes me to my tropical garden area, leaving the other flower beds unkempt.
I am 8 yrs. older than you are.
First flower on my new Plumeria Cooktown Sunset, is a keeper.

Texasbigleaves, Thanks. I assume you were refering to the number of threads started, and not my age. Unlike Rj at 39, I could never pass for 40 years old.
Are those your Borneo Giants in the black pots? Your garden looks like a jungle already. Mine are only about a foot tall, but I am happy that they did not rot over winter.
