Such a great collection of birds, Love them all.
I'm surprised Adel, that that was your first wren. Glad you got to see it, I would have thought they were in your area for you to see before. But there aren't a lot of them around any more. My one pair has a nest started.

Haven't seen or heard any catbirds yet this year. Yesterday our warmest day of the year 83 degrees and not much wind.

Keeping pretty busy trying to get all the new plants into the ground. Planted overgrown tangled vines of Morning Glories last evening. Too cold before to put them out so took me a long time to untangle the vines.

Must get outside. Good birdwatching everyone.

This little one perched on the window sill and looked in for several minutes. I had to back up to get it in focus. I've always wanted to have a bluebird do that but I guess "There's a goldfinch on your windowsill..." works too.

And this one sat in the sun for quite some time, snoozing. Several times it nearly fell over.

WOW Wonderful pictures of birds. Love them.

All I have time for right now is getting my sdlg. plants into the ground. Yesterday and day before very warm, in low 80's/ Hard to keep the sdlgs, wet , waiting for their turn to be planted. Last eve. got the canteloupe seedlings out in the garden, and a few sunflowers, listening to the birds twitter all the time.
