thanks! i was excited about seeing that one sitting still!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

beautiful trail walk, love those blues.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

RC I Love that blue butterfly!
The bunnies are very well behaved, I feed them and shoo them away from any plant I don't want them eating....so far so good. Only one have I had to 'talk' to twice. lol
My marketing skills for giving them away have gotten creative. My brother who lives in Maryland is a pastor......so I told him I taught this one to pray. It didn't work with him but im confident someone will want a praying bunny. lol

This one is very docile...you can walk up to her and she'll just wait for you to pick her up and give her some love.

Do I have any takers?? It's free lawn mowing!!!!!! lol

I heard rabbits are good greenhouse heaters... LOL

just kidding

You better get one for your new GH Allison!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

No heaters but he'll be glad to get into your GH for greens ^_^

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

I was cracking up the day I ran across a site that had a bunny calculator ... how many BTU'S put out for each bunny... put in your square footage and climate... it figures out how many bunnies you need

LOL

somehow I don't see that working out.. since they will eat most of the plants

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

They do put out BTUs...you can almost feel the heat when they pile up like this.

I read 8 BTU an hour

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Aren't they kept in cages underneath the tables?

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

you would need like 50 or more to work though... 8 BTU's in our climate is nothing... esp in a greenhouse where the heat can escape more easily

:)

Not in my GH ! If they went under the benches they would get a free shower 2-3 times a day!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

LOL and there is that

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

They need a drink, too!! ^_^

Thomaston, CT

So jealous of that GH, Allison! Mona--glad your hummers are back---not mine, but the fuchsias go out today. Pixie, love the iris! And the shots of the oriole---I couldn't get that close to mine. Victor, nice shot of the cornus. Shelley---your butterfly is Spring Azure---very small & quick---you got a good shot of it. Bill---nice JMs---love the autumn moon.

oh oh oh - A poppy budding!!!!

Very happy for you and your greenhouse, Allison.
Love the praying bunny.
How cool is that blue butterfly?

Ok that pic was one I planted last year. On the left poppies in 4" plastic pots and the right 2" peat pots. I will guess there is about a weeks difference in age.

Tree Peony 'Kamatanishiki', this one is a real knock out.

Victor, I'm surprised that you haven't had luck with Tree Peonies. They've been very low maintenance for me. The only thing I don't like about them is that the show is over too quickly.

Don't rub it in, Dyane! Beautiful bloom. Great shots, Celeste, Jo Ann, Shelly and all. The JM looks great, Jo Ann. Love the butterfly shot, Shelly. And the bird ones, Mona!

South Hamilton, MA

How long does a tree peony blossom last? My herbacious peony lasts one day as it rains hard the day after opening & it drapes over the wire ring.

Port Washington, NY(Zone 7a)

The buds began to open on May 13th.

Two days later the sun came out....

Here it is today. Still pretty but it is starting to fade and look a bit ragged. If it rained hard it would be gone.

Nice. Do you do hand shadows, Dyane?
