ROFLOL, Tink, the name alone should make it a best seller!! To funny.

BJ, I truly don't mind him fishing it is just he is there when we get up and there when we turn it--kinda puts a damper on our running around the house in our pj's. Unfortunately we did find a house we loved but it happens to be in a private community. Whatever that meas--mostly the HOA as far as I can tell. There are some who have nothing better to do than watch to see what others are doing all the time. I have suggested "they get a life".

Not feeling real perky this afternoon, so I think I will stretch out a few minutes.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Hope that is BEAUTFUL Ladies you've got to watch that video

Tulsa, OK(Zone 7a)

i thought you would all enjoy it.. many blessings.. thinking of you ALL............

(Laura) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Jaye, I have no issues with the things like clay and weirdness being caused by osmosis, it’s the physical things that I find weird. Like her hair, our hair color is close enough that it’s hard to tell whose is whose if you bunch it together, but her dad has copper hair and her mom has dark brown and it’s not a standard color either.

The herb garden is pretty standard. Right now I have or am thinking about sage (all edible verities eventually), thyme, marjoram, chives, dill, basil, oregano, parsley, and my catnip gets planted in there, though I don’t eat it; maybe some mint.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Kim, did you place a bet on Mine That Bird? Man that was one happy jockey. I got to laughing at him he so funny. WOW 50 -1.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Hey All,

Notice they now put the day with the date in the upper right corner. How cool is that, especially those of us with the CRS'

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

haven't they always done that??

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Nope they just put it there with in the last day or two. Someone started a forum asking about it.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

hmm-I remember the date being there a while ago. Maybe they just added the day and the time...I dunno-maybe I am just plain crazy.....

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

I think they just added the day of the week.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

the date and time have been for as long as I've been a member (1 year soon) ^_^

And no Stacey you're not crazy you're starting to get the old timer's diease and you're just a sring chick, yet.LOL

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Yep they did! So who watch the Derby?

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

The Derby was great......that poor jockey won't be able to talk for a week!

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Has anyone talked to Cathy/catspower? Saw her post in the birthday club. What about Katy/jordakittyjo?

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Wasn't he a hoot. Craked me up ^_^

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

I am adding what is my fave chapter yet, one from Tony's perspective. I am loving it, but I'm not sure if it sounds to chickish since it is later in the story full of love and certainty. After a few beers you would be amazed at how freely your creative juices flow;) Thank god for spell check-LOL

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

LOL, you're on a roll Stacey.................

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Thanks, I am having fun even if it will never be a bestseller or get published;) Seriously I am more thankful for spell check than you could ever imagine. Mu fingers tend to move a little fast then my mind and I just have to look for the underlines for the most part.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Cindy... that date and time has been there since I became a member last year... one of the first things I noticed.

Dang... did you hear about the Dallas Cowboy Training Bubble?... sheesh... that's scary.
http://www.myfoxdfw.com/dpp/news/12_Hurt_when_Cowboys_Canopy_C

All kinds of storms have surrounded us here... but we only got a little rain...
Of course... I just get to sit here and worry about my boys... Don was in the thick of it at the Ballpark in Dallas, and I let Mike go to a concert in Canton with some friends. The storm was all over that area while they were driving there.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Yea we saw it during the NASCAR countdown to green. Can't you call them on their cells?

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

OK,got a serious question here, can birds move their eggs?

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

the storms have moved in to east texas now ..north of me they say ...no rain here yet
my cell was not working right until right now so the storms had to have messed with things

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Synda, if your referring to the robins moving the eggs from the grill, I would say no. Did you close it back up, after you discovered them?
Maybe an animal go them?

Hope not!

LK

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

Yep closed it like it was.......something got them......well at least I can use my grill after an intense scrubbing........and Rick put the cover on.........LOL.

Raleigh, NC

just checking in ya'll! how's everyone doing tonight.

just arrived back in from the Southern Appalachian RU. I was hoping to make it a romantic getaway as well, but at first Randall nixed the idea of going up. then Friday he said, OK let's go, but I just barely got everything loaded up by 8pm. Still, we made Statesville NC that night. Randall likes this "trade plants=romance" thing.

we met for brunch at 10, then started trading. by noon I was done, with a truckbed chock full of shade plants traded for irises. the gals at this 2nd annual SA RU are just marvelous.

only flys in the ointment were (1) I'm so out of shape, I couldn't manage all the other activities. we did make it to the herb festival at the Farmer's Market in Asheville, but the Arboretum and the Botanical Gardens were too much, so we headed on home. and (2) either my load shifted severely, or we lost things out of the back of the truck on the trip home (didn't lose a darn thing going up!), or it's too dark for me to see clearly......or someone at the Farmers Market or the Moose Cafe where we stopped for lunch lifted 5 huge hostas from the swap out of the very back of the truck bed. ARGH!!! didn't see how much looks to be missing until I took the tarp off to water everything down when we got home at 9pm.

Thanks Synda I wasn't sure.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Morning all!!

We were busy getting 2 rooms 'straightened'.. the potential craft room and a new sitting area. Then I crashed!

Definitely, no arguments there, who's Riley daddy, Deborah.

Calvin Borel is from St. Martinville, La., and he started at Evangeline Downs. Had 800 wins at Churchill Downs in 2007.. amazing!
A long shot 50-1. Way to go Kimmie!!! You're intuitive enough to bet on it! Anyone else?

Coffee, milk, croissants and blueberry muffins everyone.
