Goodness!! I'm here!! Late and sleepy eyed.. but here!!
Oh Donna.. your family looks so happy! Wonderful if you could get help in purchasing a home, better than renting. Hope all will be in your favor.. Lord knows what you need, and He won't let you down ;)
I never had fresh morels.. but my sister do sent me some dried ones... just got to reconstitute them.
Synda.. whaddaya know.. wild violets!! That handkerchief iris looks more like a giant orchid. Pretty. Nope, you don't have to sing tonight.. maybe hum a little.
Dusty, I don't believe in poisons neither, but there are some squatters that insisted on increasing their clans, and it's either them or my sanity!
How have you been doing by the way?
Maid M.. so it's gonna be High Noon for you tomorrow? Load up your pistols and use those HOA bullets ;) Good luck!

Phyllis, that is so pretty..
Is it something you embroidered, looks lacy to me, and then starched. So elegant.
You and Laura must be thrilled having gardens you can start executing plans. Pot stickers and greens sound good. Why didn't I think of that tonight.. something fast and delicious.
I'll bid you all a good night and see you all in the morning!
Cody.. go to bed!!
yep making them on my machine using a wash away stabilizer
Aha.. great job Phyllis, bet Shelley's tickled.
Phyllis those are going to be beautiful!!!
Jaye, I am so ready to get going in the garden....Last year I got a big load of compost then my back started giving me trouble....The next time they are over (next payday) they are going to get that put on the beds for me.....going to have some happy happy plants!!! Got my garden planner out so now I can decide where all the new stuff is going, and where some of the old stuff is getting moved to.....
I know Laura is happy to get all that nasty Ivy out so she can start working on her Kitchen Herb beds!!
Well dinner is almost done....talk to you tomorrow.
Laura has such an extensive culinary knowledge, I bet her Kitchen Herb is not limited to just the common ones like Italian basil or parsley, though planting parsley's good for butterflies.
This year, the only herbs I'll be planting are some Thai basil. Kel loves them in stir fries.
Trisha, your garden will be the best this year. Adding any new water feature?
Yes, see you tomorrow!

Good Night Jaye.
Good Night Cody....hope you're feeling better.......
Good night Trisha,thanks i am.
WAKEY!! WAKEY!!! Coffee is on!!
Boy was our weather person way off with her report. It wasn't surpose to start raining until around 3 pm and last till about 6 pm. It started at 11 am and lasted until 9 ish. There were times that the downpour was so hard we couldn't hear the tv. One time I opened the front door and there was a waterfall streaming down. I couldn't open the screen otherwise all the water would have come in the house. Somebody needs to clean the gutters, lol.
Got this email about this crab:
Coconut Crab (Birgus latro) is the largest terrestrial arthropod in the world. It is known for its ability to crack coconuts with its strong pincers in order to eat the contents.
It is sometimes called the robber crab because some coconut crabs are rumored to steal shiny items such as pots and silverware from houses and tents.
The second photo gives you a good idea of how large these crabs are - a coconut crab is seeking food from a black trashcan.
COCONUT CRABS
The coconut crab is a large edible land crab related to the hermit crab, and are found in the tropical Indian and Pacific Oceans . They eat coconuts for a living! How would you like to be on an island and come across a crab that is more than 3 feet from head to tail and weighs up to 40 pounds, with a pair of large pincers strong enough to open coconuts! They can climb trees too, but they only eat coconuts that have already fallen to the ground.. Coconut crab meat has been considered a local delicacy.
That crab looks like it has a sesame seed bun for his butt!!LOL
MORNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh you're Welcome too Kim. Sounds like you are going to have a good time today. I haven't been watching much tv, so is it the Kentucky Derby today? I love to watch those.
Good morning all and thanks for the coffee Cindy.
Woke up early for some reason. Surprised as read most all of my new magazines last night before turning out the lights. Guess I am excited about getting out into the yard and doing some things.
Planning a quiet weekend here, some gardening, some sewing and lots of "vegging". Anyone want to join me?
I'm doin OK Cindy-hope to get back outside today for a little bit, and of course writing and editing. I find that as I edit, the length grows. I also adjusted the margins to what a paperback size is and found that with regular margins, it is 1.5 time the length....I didn't like reading like that so I undid them....Sorry, I just like to keep track of things....I am a nut like that...
Kim-well that sounds fun, a BBQ for the pals!!
I'm trying to find the list of horses racing, in the Derby today and can't. Can somone post a link for me?
I found a list of horses for the race.

Good morning everyone!
Thanks for the coffee Cindy. When I used to bet on horse races, at the Evangeline Downs in Lafayette, La... I'd bet on longshots after I've seen the horses. I'm glad, my ex wasn't keen on horse racing ;)
Kim, where are our invitations to your BBQ?? Will your new man be there. Wouldn't we love to be some fies in her yard, ladies ;)
Lol!
Maid M, hope the men had their fill of fishing at your lake. You sure need a 'quiet' weekend.
You have certainly the knack for writing Stacey. I'm telling you again, that book will be a best seller. By the way... will you be using your name or create a 'nom de plume'.
Hi LK. I'll be doing the same thing as you today.. start on the apron. Oh what a mess, when I tend to overthink. Could do a similar one to Cody's cause the buddy had said how she likes it.. but no.. I have to think of something different. So good luck to both of us!
Cody, hope you're feeling better. By the way, anymore unwanted intruders to the pen?
Welcome back Judy! You're forgiven for having been missing so lonnnnnng here.. of course, creativity takes first place :D
Beautiful work there Judy. You embroidered that? I won't be able to do detailed work like that, for sure, I'll go blind too early!!!
Woke up late.. slept late.. so I'm behind in my chores, will return later.
hmmm-I guess I could use Fairy Farts.....or Tinky Tooter.....
Kim I would go for Desert Party.....and Regal Ransom. We will see......
Ok ,need to making Devile Eggs......To take to my uncle.......See ya later.
Good Coffee Cindy........rain came in here over night......we rarely ever see a hard rain like you described......were just getting gray misty stuff....just enough to keep you inside.... I guess that is to be expected since we finally got the beds all cleaned out and just want to go out and play:( Guess we will work on Inside stuff today.....would make it easier if we could a really good rain.....I have always loved to listen to a hard rain. Looks like it is going to be a good day to get out my seeds and my planning book.....if I plant enough flowers there won't be room for weeds, right???
Sounds like Kim is having the most fun today! Yep, wish we all could be there!! UUMM Mint Juleps....have one for me.....or two....or three.....
Judy, sorry I couldn't talk longer yesterday...we managed to get to the grocery store right at rush hour and it was a real zoo in there....Hope you find your glasses....I would be in bad shape 'cause I need my glasses to find my glasses!!
Stacey, sounds like everyone is liking the book so far!!!
Cody, how are all the babies doing?
Still working on Aprons Jaye?? The one you did for Cody was beautiful!
Waving to all....Sage was up too late and is sleeping in...going to try and get a few things done before she gets up. Later!!
Thanks Judy and Jaye,no more since we pen them up at night now.
Hi Trisha, they are doing good and getting big.I will update their pictures later today i willgo out and take some.
I'm going to take my meds eat a bite and take a nap.It is just me here now.The baby went to his daddys.I miss him already.Well later gators.
I vote for Tinky Tooter!!!
Nope, I guess they haven't had their fill yet. He came back this morning with yet someone else new and a dog!! Now that is a big no-no here as I have outside cats. They stay mostly on my deck but he runs up on my deck. Ending today!!! Why is it the big things you deal with seem to just roll over you so to speak but some little insignificant thing like this drive you insane? Does me--guess I am just nutty!!
Waving Judy Good to see I will have company in the "vegging" department. After I finsh putting my family room back together--we dicided to do a deep cleaning and of course that lead to other things. Ahhhh, but it will feel so good knowing it is clean and some more things disposed of!! Slowly but surely.
Well This is great Now MY Dad and Sister is coming over its going to be a real par-ta The yard is done I think I have a Cherry tree and another kind I will take pictures tomorrow
Synda Those are a couple of am thinking about also Mine that Bird, Friesan Fire This is my thing I go and do 2 dollars bett and I am bound to win with one of the horse's
Staey we are about 3 hours south of toledo here. My FIL says down 77 south a good ways but its about that far... lol I wasnt sure so I asked..
Trisha dont know what Chantrells are but love my morels.. Max found some Dryads saddle shroomies... Also called hickory jacks .. FIL loves them but they must be cooked quick or they get rubbery I hear,,,
Sorry just dropping in while we had a spare second will try to catch back up later..
Huggs
Donna
Well Trisha, we have have mist rain now. Had to go to the bank and it started pouring again and I forgot my umbrella, drats. Wanted to go to Lowe's and HD to look at plants but too much water and I kept slipping on the cement going into Wal-Mart, I even slipped on painted white lines that mark the parking spaces. Not very good shoes to wear, but the only ones that are comfy for my archs.
Sounds like a good day to be inside!!
Yep, I'm getting ready to set up my sewing area in the guest bedroom. Gotta make an apron. Saw the cutest pattern in Wal-mart but it was $15.95 yikes. Guess it'll have to be what I already have. But did find some contrast fabric . I'll have a tv so I can watch races today. Kentucky first, then NASCAR. I love night time races because they start right when I'm pooping out ^_^.
Afternoon ladies !!!
Flamingo Kim... darn, it sure sounds like fun at your new house today... if I were closer, I'd pop in too. Say, when you get a good handle on what you want to plant in your new yard... post a list here, so we can all send you something if we have it.
Trisha... I'm so glad to live in North Texas... I just could not handle all the rain you get up there... I read once that Oregon and Washington has the highest depression rate of anywhere in the states... maybe that's why.
Donna... it's so good to hear from you girlfriend... and so glad the you, hubby and the kids are glad to be there with family.
Honestly, I've never heard of a Morel Mushroom... so, I guess I've never eaten one either...
Judy, Judy, Judy... WAVING HI to you, sistah... been missing you !!!
Marion... we get fishermen from all over here... no HOA, so it's open to the public... we do have a string of floating noodles across our channel to prevent debris from washing up, but it also deters fishing boats from wandering too close into our channel. We do get some that float up to the noodles and cast into the channel... Doesn't bother me, though... they're welcome to fish all they want... We don't live on the lake because we're fishermen... we just like to play on the lake.
Well, better go check on Mike's progress... he's been itching to use the power washer, so today he's washing down the house... which means that tomorrow (when it's dry enough), I need to go out and spray the bug spray... I hate that part.
See you all later if I get the chance.
I have been wanting to post this for Judy.
An Eagle Wall hanging to quilt.
http://www.clotilde.com/detail.html?prod_id=9392&cat_id=13
Well, I just spent 3 hours cleaning out 2 beds and planting lily bulbs. I have a wonderful burn on my back and am back to the puter......tonight when the sun starts to go behind the neighbors, I have to run out and get a couple pics:)
I guess since Auntie M is the only one that voted, Tinky Tooter it is;)
