I heard I should check and see if they leave their car doors open over night too... Can fill the entire back seat with bags of goodies!

Is Fredericksburg a safe little area? They may not lock their car OR their house - lol...

BTW - I think goofybulb wants some squash. Check the addy exchange and send some on to Texas!!

you, loca girl, you!

I love squash... I have one little plant right now, and I'm praying for a good crop! Had 2, but one died, and I wondered if to start another. But I'm not in the addy exchange. If I get squash-less, I know where and who to ask. I might even search for the zuchs you guys plan to stuff in unsuspecting cars!

Now, seriously, me and hubby love squash. Is one plant enough? If not, is it to late to start another (from seed)?

hey, if they leave their houses unlocked, you could always toss a few int he crisper drawer.. they'll think they bought it and forgot

Here in 9a we can pretty much plant them from March to September, so you should be able to plant more from seed if you want. One plant, under optimal growing conditions, will produce quite a bit of squash. Whether or not that is enough for 2 depends on how much you plan to eat or freeze. I would say go for it and plant some more. After all, I'm sure you have a few unsupsecting neighbors you can sneak up and, um, give them to!!

I picked the first one today. I'm looking forward to grill some squash, zooks , sweet 100's, and fish on a sqiuer. Thanks for the reminder on veg. grilling. Brush on A little greak dressing, ya got a crowd pleaser. After sunday church my best friend( a boat captin ) wanted to line up a freezer trip for his friends. We are realy going to try to catch triggerfish on sqush and maybe A sweet 100 or two. This started as us joking around, then we figgered we would try it for kicks and giggles. Yea you say fishermen lie! Hey why not. Captn. Ross wants to go,(He teaches the advance captn. courses and loves trigger fish ) and he is just as crazy as me and Captn. Dale. Thanks all for the food ideas and my belly some times hurts from laughing so hard from reading your replies. Thanks Crazyfish3.
