Come on everybody...post some photo's of your containers! I'm feeling lonely here!

Container Renovations 6! (smile)
KatG,
I sure wish I had your talent for planting containers. Your plant combinations are absolutely gorgeous! If I had seen this thread before I planted mine, I might have been a little more adventurous with my plantings!
Here is a my favorite container this year - it is planted with Garden Phlox 'Katherine', Pink Zinnias, Regatta Midnight Blue Lobelia, and Pink Million Bells.
Kathymac, I'm with you! I wish I could plant planters like KatG also!
KatG, I'll have to get your autograph at the Hibiscus Festival. Congrats on the publicity and success!! By the way, my pagoda plant is looking pretty good these days also! I have it in a pot as I'm afraid it might run all over my yard if I put it in the ground. I had one cleroden... that did that and now I'm afraid to put any of them in the ground!!
It's been a while since I posted the message about hanging my windchime and I guess I just lost track of this thread. The wind chime photo posted by Irwells looks like mine. I must have been crazy when I purchased it ($599.00), but the sound is glorious... like church bells.
Happy planting all!
Marianne
kathymac...those containers are just beautiful! I love the Lobelia and the Calibrachoa, but they just don't make it here. I try and they last for about 2 months and as soon as the real head and humidity comes...that's it! Goners! I can see why you love that container as it would be a favorite of mine also!
Marianne...Those windchimes are just amazing. I can't believe the size of them. If you find any half price sales or discount church bells, let me know! hehe
Here's my Pagoda flower today...It doesn't get much better than this. Mine is in a container as I know what Clerodendrums are capable of. I really love this variety though...
Put together a few more big pots today for the festival...I just can't wait to lift them onto the truck on sale day! Arrrggghhh...Maybe I'll hold off on watering the last day or so.
These are the Water Hyacinth pots in a different shape with Dwarf Cal Elephant ear, Rosebud Caladiums. coleus, impatiens and lime green sweet potato vine...
Kat, those tin/hyacinth pots are wonderful! Are they light enough to ship?
KatG,
Hpw did the festival go for you? I hope you took some pics and will post them here. Tina
Hi Everybody!
It's been a while since I've been on this thread! The head sales have really kept me busy and it's been great! We were also away for 2 weeks - flew up to Worcester Mass and rented a car and just drove! It was great! No reservations and just stopped and stayed where we wanted. Went from Worcester Mass to Portland Maine - to Bar Harbor Maine - took a ferry to Nova Scotia - stayed in Halifax for a couple of days - to Charlottetown PEI where we stayed 3 days - to St. John NB and back to Portland. LOVED IT! Weather was not good though and I don't think we seen 70 degrees for the entire time. These poor people up there have had no summer whatsoever!

Tina: Your containers look GREAT! I bet you they're even fuller now. I hope you're enjoying Oklahoma! It's been a while but that Hibiscus festival was good - However, it was SO hot I thought I was going to die out there for 10 hours in 100 degree weather and no breeze! Attendance was way down and I'm sure it had something to do with the heat! I sure have to hand it to these vendors that do this every week. It's a lot of work setting everything up and taking it all down! It was kinda fun though, however I'm not rushing to do it anytime soon unless it's in the fall/winter or inside! Crating 25lb concrete heads around all day in the heat is tough!
Here's a pic of my "Headshop" haha
It is sooooo time for a new thread!
To be continued...
