Here is a pic of Rick last summer hauling a rock from across the highway from the bank.We had so much fun that day.You should of seen the looks people driving by made, watching me up on the bank digging out this rock and rolling it down to Rick.

Lucky you synda! I asked for a load of rocks 3 years straight for my birthday then at Christmas. I am still waiting and that has been at least 9 years ago. Guess I will continue unless the kids feel sorry for me this year!
My Super Darlin Hubby will do anything for me.I wanted a little pond so last year he hand dug a hole 6ft across and 3ft deep,it was 90 degrees so I strung an extention cord a brought out a box fan so he could at least have a breeze. My brother and cousins still talk about Rick diggin a hole with a box fan blowin on him.Hopefully we will have the pond finished this year. There has been more done to it than in the pic ,but don't have any new ones yet.Want to wait until we are finished.
Oh, Synda... bring Rick with you... bet you two are a real hoot... he and Don could compare stories of their "red neck" women.
LOL... girls... you have to see this You Tube act too... from Susan Boyle's competition this year... you'll get a laugh, for sure.

Susan is absolutely incredible isn't she!!!
Robyn, I’ve done Renfaire and we’re thinking about doing it again. I’d be the one making the clothing.
Synda, nice pond.
Thank......LOL.That also was fun getting,a friend of ours gets these things that look like the old satelite dishes.Well at the time Rick had an S-10 pick-up.So we go and get this dish/really big bowl, and it just fits on top of his truck bed.We looked like a big turtle going down the road.
Oh I want a satelitte dish to make myself a gazebo at the back of my property. I've seen pics and they are the coolest thing! Unless you told someone, some of them are not recognizable as the old dishes. trash to treasure to sure.
Hi Everyone,
Decided to check in. Mom has dial up and it's slower than a snail. Had to crack up at the things you ask for as presents. Well before I left this morning Rick was showing me some sandals in Bass Pro book, can't wear because I need good arch support. Well as he turned the page I saw something pink and purple. Guess what I'm getting for my b-day????????????? A purple rod and reel, LOL. Yep then I can say for sure that it's mine. With all the poles we have I have no clue which ones are mine.
Took a picture of my "Bleeding Heart". It's HUGE, must say my mommy has been taking really good care of it. I want to take it home with me :( But I will wait until it's done blooming.
Most of you are probably already in bed so I will say:
Good Night Sistahs, don't let the beddy bug bite ^_^

oh I LOVE old fashioned bleeding hearts! mixed up the foliage with a peony, and planted one I'd bought in full sun. it bloomed, but very small compared to last year, so I moved it couple days ago. just hope it does well. it's in with the hostas now.
am trying without success to read and absorb all above. but the dizzies are back, so cannot read and concentrate. could not concentrate on Bones or Criminal Minds, either.
talked to Cody for a long time today. probably bent her ear too much with old tales. she sounds so nice, so sweet, so YOUNG!! did I sound young once? oh well.
over on the iris forums is a comment about a great weeding tool called the winged weeder. irisloverdee swears by it, so I have to have it. breaking out the CC, just bought two on doitbest.com. anything to help with the weeds in the iris beds!
Oh No yes I know Christi - LouC personally she is one of the first ones I meet when we moved here
..headed over to the thread now thanks ..dang internet is not staying connected to night have to type this and wait til connected to post ...grrrrr
Doctors appt. today for mom.....now have to wait for test results.....
Took her main TV to the repair shop.....should be done tomorrow......
Found part of the table in my workroom....have to....just received a huge box of polymer clay in the mail......so many things I need to get done in that room to make it usable....it also has leather working stuff which will go back out to the shop...all of my drawing stuff, water colors , oil paints, rubber stamp and scrap book stuff.....my pottery clay stuff.....all my gardening books.....really need to sort through all of it....
OMG... Trisha... when you're done... will you come do my craft room? I have the same problem.
Bonnie... I do hope your dizzy spells quit... that's awfully aggravating when you have so much to do. I have also heard about that Winged Weeder... and want one too. But so far, I've resisted... just bought a new hoe last year, and I suppose I need to wear it out before I get another one.
I'm bushed, and I still stink from sweating today... so, think I'll go get my shower and watch some TV in bed till I fall asleep.
Nighty Night all...
Night BJ
Bonnie what causes your dizzy spells?
Sounds like Spring has sprung.
Look at all the pretties, the ponds, the weeders, for iris beds, Trisha is getting organised...
Marilyn try looking on craigs list in your area for the old sattelite dishes, sometime they give them away.
Bon, you really need to see a Dr, about your dizzies. It is not a good thing to be dizzy like you are. Maybe your blood presuure is out of whack?
Please take care.
Good night all.
LK
That's right Linda Kay,blood pressure or even sugar.
BJ, Don't know if you want that or not....I have only been trying to get this done for about three years!!
I agree Bonnie, they need to figure out what is causing this dizziness....it is not a good thing.
Have a good night everyone.....we have a good baseball game going.....we won last night!! See how it goes tonight. We love to beat Los Angeles!!!

Good night everyone!!!Hope you all have a bless night.
Good night Trisha,sweet dreams.
Good night Cody you have a good night too.
I'm heading that way now.
Morning ladies.
Today is the BIG day for Mom and Dad. Unbelievable....70 years...they called yesterday and asked if we would join them at the Manchester Inn for lunch today, their treat. They just wanted someone to help them celebrate. After dinner tonight they have a little birthday celebration at Otterbein for the April birthday people. Cake and ice cream, pictures, etc. So since today is Dad's 91st birthday they will go to that. I'm sure they'll get lots of hugs for making 70 years together, too.
Weather has been really yukky here, but it is supposed to improve beginning today.
So sorry for Christi. I lost a nephew to a hunting accident when he was 26. He had a two year old son and a daughter on the way. So very sad. You can't imagine the loss of a child or a grandchild. She stated she didn't know if she could live without him. I would feel the same way. :O(
BJ...good job on your creativity! I'll be looking for a strawberry to steal! ^_^
Morning everyone.
Hope you all slept well last night?
Cody, how are you doing today? Hope you are hugging that little one for us too?
Synda, thanks for the breakfast, and the morning prayer. That was nice.
Joyce Give your parents a hug from us. That is a long time to be together!
LK

Welcome FOTV - it's nice to meet you. I love that area of the country. Have a DB in western NC.
Good Morning!!
Nice pond Synda, and thanks for the poem.
Going to be 70 degrees today and I'm stuck in this building.
Sending my greeting also to FOTV. Sun trying to come out but we still have a little nip to the air. Not complaining as the all to hot days will be here before I know it.
Well, I now have the 7th lawn care company as a "no show". Please some one explain to me what is happening. The come, look, give a "ballpark" price and then it ends. Needless to say I am not a happy camper right now. But enough.........
Found some new growth on my Luna Hibiscus this morning--wahoo--thought I might have lost it but no!!! Gonna "baby" that thing!! Discussed with DD not planting herbs in the planter aka feeding trough but putting colorful plants instead. Maybe a few herbs mixed in but not like we did last year. Even found my Chocolate mint has put out new growth. Starting to look up around here.
Synda, thanks for the V8--love that stuff but for some reason don't buy it when at the store. Just keep forgetting--bad case of CRS I guess.
Well some chores are calling my name so I had better go see what they want me to do.
Hey MArion, so glad to hear you are getting things to start showing some growth, but darn those lawn care people! Wish I could be there to help you scold them? Have you tried to call them, and ask what's up?
I have been arguing with my post office for 3 days now. I got a slip in the mailbox on Monday, that said, sorry we missed you.
I was home, and they did not honk the horn, or knock on the door. I called the post office, and ask them to deliver it on Tuesday. I even put the signed slip in the mail box. The mailman stopped at the mailbox, looked at the slip, and put it back, and kept going. I called again, and he swears it will be here today!
Guess who will be standing at the mailbox, waiting on the mailman today! WITH ATTITUDE!!! LOL
