Our song for babies came from the first ever Muppet Movie, it aired on TV back in the 60's. Was way cool. My brother (EB#2) made me learn it. It goes.

Good thing babies don't understand the words, just the tone of voice. There were lots of times when I sang this song to my boys. They didn't care, and they've grown up just fine. LOL! While the kids may not appreciate the lyrics, there are times the parents will. ^_^
Especially if they've been sleep deprived for a couple of months.

Is the photo snafu just on your end? Here is a photo of my baby boy Spirit. Dog day afternoon. Snoozing in the shade. He got his own wading pool yesterday to keep him out of my water features. All three have been using it today to cool off.

I am using a lap top and I do miss the 10-key feature. I'll write them down for when (if) I ever get my desk top computer back from my boys.
Til then, if you press down on the Caps button and the number 6, then Caps the underline, then Caps 6 again, it will show up on your screen like this ^ _ ^ (I put spaces in between each symbol to show you what it looks like), it will turn into a yellow smiley face, when you d mail it. ^_^ See?

I couldn't even get DG to load for a while, so it might be a hit and miss problem.

SW....my laptop has the 10 key number pad mixed in with the regular keys. Little blue numbers in the corner of the pads. I have to use alt and the fn key (at the same time) then the number to get the symbols ♥. Doesn't do all of them, but most.

Spirit looks like he's still got some growing to do to fit those feet, SW!

Beautiful Emma is doing wonderful, thank you! It is very amazing how much they change. She's starting to focus on things now with her eyes, it's so wonderful to stare at her staring at me!

Ok, ok, they're coming! I've been spending so much time with her...it's so hard to leave her!

Here's Emma from Wednesday, I'm so bummed, I took 4 blurry pictures, this was the best of the lot. I think you can still see her pretty good. I really need to perfect my camera skills if I'm going to be a good grandma!

Those close-ups are hard sometimes, Weege. Read the manual. :-)

We're going to go see great-grandma today.
Emma is now up to 7lbs. 3 oz. We had a little trouble with mama's milk and at her 2 week visit, had lost a whole pound. Andrea is now feeding her formula and at her checkup yesterday, she had gained almost a pound. There was some emotional issues with Andrea, Emma was suffering from malnutrition but dd has now come to terms with not being able to breastfeed, realizes she has to do what's best for Emma. I cannot believe that Emma is 3 weeks old, wow, time sure flies.

So glad that Emma is gaining weight! She sure is a cutie.
Tell DD, I wasn't able to breast feed my youngest either. They had him on a pre-digested formula. Tasted horrible. The only way he'd drink it was if I put choc. syrup in it too.
As long as she gives Emma lots of cuddles, it won't matter in the long term. My youngest was a premie, and you should see what a smart, big, strapping young man he has grown up to be.
Yes, it's disappointing, but Emma is worth it. She gets more beautiful as each day progresses. I want to hug her too! But not until I'm over this cold thing.
Give her a hug for me! Best to take photos when they are asleep or totally involved and don't see the camera. When she gets older, she'll probably enjoy posing for you. Kids are funny that way.
Hope the Great Grandmother visit goes well. ^_^

Aw, she's such a sweetie-pie!

I had that trouble with my third, but the other two were fine... so she shouldn't give up for next time! It's terrible to hear "failure to thrive" I'm glad mama's ok !
