Thank you all so much for being so wonderful!!!
(Yes, Tootsie, this is the only great grandchild that my mom will get to see regularly...the others live in Vegas and Utah. Hence the smile!)
Oh, my, that little girl is going to be spoiled wonderfully!
Not by me!
I didn't mean BAD spoiling, only good, loving spoiling - nothing wrong with that! :-)
What they said! All of the above.
Great photos of the whole family, especially love the photo with great Grandma, and Emma!
The smiles of exhaustion speak volumes. Get some rest now if you are not to giddy!

I knew what you meant Kathleen and was being sarcastic by saying I would not spoil her...no, not much!
I think I'm back to normal now, well I'm never normal but I have rested up sufficiently.
Andrea sure was a trooper during labor. Her water broke at about 3 A.M. Thursday morning, Nick called me at 4 A.M. saying that they had admitted Andrea. She was dilated to 3 cm. They started the potocin around 6 and she had some strong pain for a couple of hours, they gave her the epidural at 9:45 and from there it was smooth sailing. 3 pushes and little Emma was here! There were only supposed to be 2 people in the room when she delivered, Nick and myself but Andrea's doctor was the best, she let Andrea's 3 sisters stay, my future daughter in law stay and Nick's mom stay...the look on my other 3 daughter's faces when Emma poked out......priceless. I held Andrea's knee up during delivery because the epidural made her legs like rubber! Nick was on the other knee. It was like nothing I've ever experienced before.
Saw Emma yesterday, held her of course, and she is doing very well. Andrea and Nick are doing great, tired of course but extremely happy. Will get some pictures real soon!
I haven 't forgotten about the irises! Yea Synda for getting the weight right on and Tootsie for getting the closest to the birth date! I'll get those off to you real soon. Everyone else gets one too! Thanks for joining in on that fun all!!!
Grandma
Showed that pic of Andrea to DH and he said, "Yeah, sure, she's in labor." So tell her she was looking good from here, too!
So happy for you and the family, Louise. Ooops, Grandma!
Good to hear all are doing so well. Newborns are so special!
LOL Kathleen! She really was!
They sure pull at your heartstrings!
