American Goldfinch
DAILY PICS. VOL. 201
great shots all
Nice pics burn and Frank!
What thrill about the sandpiper. My greatest bird thrill was watching Prairie Chicken spring courting at the U. of Wisconsin study area.
OK, this will be the last one on this thread. I've been asked to start a new one and I don't want to wait until the morning to do it. Not my favorite bird, especially when they are nesting. Here is a link to the new thread. http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/973118/

Oh Burn, you have no idea how bad I would love to get up there!!
Great pics of such fabulous birds.
I was so excited to see Cedar Waxwings this morning! They finally showed up to feast on the neighbor's Mulberry tree. It's way to dark out to even attempt a photo, but it was great to watch them.
I found this on my front porch yesterday. Looks like the poor thing was eaten by something. Is it a Robin's egg?
BTW, love the coyote! Most of the coyotes that I've seen have been scrawny. That one looks extremely well fed!
A pair of Cardinals and a pair of Carolina Wrens have nests in the backyard. I know the vicinity of each nest but not exactly where they are. I've been trying not to photograph either pair, so they will spend their time worrying about predators instead of worrying about me. It's hard though! Here's one I did snap of the Mrs.
Woops! I'm on the old thread. I didn't see a link for the new one though. I think this is it: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/973118/
