Junco's are still around but a lot have left.
DAILY PICS. VOL. 201
Pelle nice to see the albino House Finch again. She must like it at your place, cause she came back this year.
That Chickadee does look young, and sweet.
GM you also have a cute Chickadee and Nuthatch.
Lily your Pine Sisken sure looks like he has personality. Great expression.
lovely photo duc.
Nanny like the Nuthatch on the roof and one coming down.
Luvs nice pic of the Mockingbird.
Adel thanks for the new thread and the Spring Robins.
Common Redpolls
Great shots everyone. I am having trouble posting photos for some reason...anyone else?
Yes they are luvs!
Nice photos everyone. I'm waiting to see my first-of-year (FOY) Cedar Waxwing. Sunday was a beautiful day despite a limited amount of bird activity.
Here is a Coopers Hawk in my next door neighbor's backyard. A Crow and this Hawk just had an encounter right in front of me. I was too close and unable to respond quick enough to get an action photo. To be honest, I couldn't believe my eyes. I was within 10 feet of the attack.
Thanks Pelle!
Great shots as usual Linth!!
They are great shots Linth! Love the Tree Swallow.
"Are these Cormorants?" - Yep, Double-crested Cormorants.

I had a rare sighting on Red Hill today. Saw an Upland Sandpiper. They don't live here, I suspect migrating north to spend the summer on the grasslands of the prairies. I couldn't get close enough to get a good photo, but spent some time watching him through my 20X50 binocs.
These birds were once abundant on the prairies but are in severe decline.
Nice one!
Declining due to the usual agricultural intensification problems?
Resin
Thanks Resin!
Nice shots nanny and red!
Helmeted Guineafowl, from someone's poultry farm. They're native to Africa, but widely domesticated, often kept along with chickens, etc. So you can't 'tick' them on your list ;-)
Resin
seem to be alot of those around ...
Oh I saw a flock of Cedar Waxwings passing by, some perched on the Chinese Previts (perhaps for the seeds?). I was so upset, I didn't have my camera with me.
Great shots Frank!
Where do your finch go? I am suspecting North? I have them year round and so look forward to them in the summer for the color! I remember years ago and old neighbor of mine though our parakeet got out!
None here from a few days from now till January.
So sweet Frank! Glad you got to see them one more time.
LOL, cute tom tiger!
