Spring CS Round - Up Trades #2

College Station, TX(Zone 8b)

Too lazy to look through trades again, lol. Does anyone have any passifloras?

Anne

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Ann, I have passiflora incarnata. Will that work?
Charlene

Dallas, TX

.. pat, thank you for spelling the name of the plant correctly ... :)
I am just going to dig the plant and put in a plastic bag ... I dont pot up too well, I got lot of Sedum. ... for me ... what you got left ... any Daylillies? something florific for the front ... Flowery:)

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

LOL Florific and flowery -- I'll find something. I have daylilies for sure. Thanks, Sylvia.

(Carole) Cleveland, TX(Zone 9a)

Pattie, I'm so sorry to hear you've taken ill. I do hope you get better. I was looking forward to meeting you too. We'll trade in the fall, I'm sure!

Sandy, LMAO - me too!! My husband says I'm like the guy in 'Beautiful Mind' - I'll look at something and instead of seeing equations, I see flowers LOL

Silver, I'll put you down for toad lilies. And yes, I'd love some Russian Sage! I used to have some - one of my favorites!!

Willis, TX(Zone 8b)

I have a few Passiflora lutea (Tx native) 1 yr olds to offer and adding to my list....also a couple of Silky Red Butterfly Weed.

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Lee, may I have one of the silky red butterfly weeds? I have the common one, but I looked this up and it says it is a more prolific bloomer than the common one. What can I bring you for the new things you have offered?
Charlene

College Station, TX(Zone 8b)

Yes I have a place for both types of passiflora, Willis and Charlene. Also can I have one of the Red butterfly weed as well?

Anne

Willis, TX(Zone 8b)

Charlene - Yes ma'am got you tagged for the S.R. Bttrfly and I'll tag a Pass. lutea for you too! Do you have some cuke seedlings still? That would be great!

Aunt Anne - got ya down for the same SR Bttrfly & Pass. lutea. Do you still have some yellow Bttrfly weed seedlings? Would like a cpl if available!
Thanks y'all!

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Gotcha on the cukes.
Thanks a bunch for the trades.
Charlene

Bryan, TX

ptbxlady, so sorry you are ill and hope you feel much better soon.
I will send your brugs with Sylvia and don't even worry about sending the coleus.
Geneva

College Station, TX(Zone 8b)

Willis I will do my best on the butterfly weed. I counted 8 volunteers out in the garden, if they all survive being dug up then no prob.

Anne

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

Willis I would love some of that red milkweed as well, and also a p. lutea if possible. Mine didn't make it last year.

Anne...I've got lots of the p. caerulea (evergreen, blue and white flowers) if you want some. They are popping up all over the yard.

Kim

College Station, TX(Zone 8b)

I've got morning glories growing in my drive way. I swear one of them tried to get in my car this morning. Good thing I locked the car last night or one of them would have tried to hotwire it. lol Those are pretty Kim but the morning glories are very jealous and would probably try to strangle them when I'm not looking. Thank you anyway.

Anne

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

Lol Anne...I don't know, this passionvine holds its own against my morning glories! I guess that is the downside to it being evergreen. All the other ones at least die back in the winter.

I will be doing my best to dig up everything I need to tomorrow morning. So...if there is anything people want from my list please let me know. Also, mom is bringing some mistflower, white yarrow, and the schoolhouse lilies if people are interested. She's also got some iris and daffodils that come up in the field, they will most likely need to be moved so if anyone is interested in those just holler.

:) Kim

College Station, TX(Zone 8b)

What color iris? And my morning glories hide out under the porch and the winter hasn't killed them for the last 2 years. They even dodge the round up that I tried to use on them last spring.

Anne

(Carole) Cleveland, TX(Zone 9a)

Willis I would love some of that red milkweed as well, and also a p. lutea if you have any left.
Please let me know what else I can bring you.

I have you down for Thai Basil, Beavertail Cactus, Coral Vine, Mexican Herb (rootbeer plant), black plastic pots (quart to 3 gal size), and Toad Lilies

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

Anne...the irises I believe are purple. I'm not sure why they ended up in the pasture, but they did!

:) Kim

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Kim, since they are popping up everywhere may I have a few of the p. caerulea? I love the blue one and I haven't got one at the time. Passies are my weakness. What could I bring for a trade?

Charlene

Hutchins, TX

I;m so sorry but the list I posted needed to go on the May 16th Jacksonville swap. I will not be attending the CS swap.

ILJ also have alstroemeria for you.

Kim would you happen to have a hoya to trade. Something that's really easy to grow. I had one of those really common ones that has the curly leaves. Well it died and now I have an empty pot.:(

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

charlene....I'll make sure to dig some passis up for you. You are already bringing me a couple things, so no need for more trades. This year I'm not adding much to my gardens since next winter I will most likely be moving.

Sandy...I will look and see if there is something I can bring you. This past year my hoyas have suffered a lot from neglect because I have just been too busy. I may have some extra H. pubicalyx I can bring.

Thanks Cajun2, I would like the moon flower, fig cuttings, white ginger, pineapple sage, pink iris or daylily and the pink rose cuttings For some reason I do fine with rooting roses ,but not so good with vines. I will bring you tomato, cilantro, thyme, oregano, lamb's ear, water tuber and red poppy.

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

Kim it was Silverfluter that wanted the hoya.

I want to ask everyone today to check my list and see if I have everyone down as to what I am bringing you. I have not felt well for a few days and I have a migraine today. This sounds weird but I can not get a grasp on what is up or what is down today and would love to be finished digging tomorrow.

So if you could please help me out it would be Great. I hate to admit I forgot my depression meds for 2 days as my stomach was tore up from a virus. It only takes 3 1/2 days for them to be gone out of my system. Just trying to stay awake and function at all is really hard. I hope my stomach is ok today. I did take my meds now but takes a couple days to get them evened back out.

Recently we got some really disturbing news we are trying to take care of and deal with. It has give us all a mental hit then physical always follows. I would share but today is just not a good day.

Please check my list and let me know.

Love you all.
Sandy

Cajun2 Thank you. May I have a Nun's Orchid Please.

Fredericksburg, TX(Zone 8a)

Cajun if you have any more of that Nun's orchid, I would very much like to have a piece.

Hutchins, TX

That would be great Cajun2. Thanks

(Carole) Cleveland, TX(Zone 9a)

Sandy, MaryLee - I have you both down for a Nun's Orchid.

Kim, am I only bringing you 'various succulents' ?
I was thinking there's something else... ???

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Cajun2, great! I got a nun's orchid from Karla E & Jim last year and managed to kill it this winter. I'll be glad to try to do better this year. :-)

(Carole) Cleveland, TX(Zone 9a)

Cool, Marylyn! Glad to hear it's what you really want ;-)

FYI guys... The ones I have are so tightly packed in this one pot and apparently I must be doing something right because they keep multiplying and growing for me!

(Carole) Cleveland, TX(Zone 9a)

Ok several of you grow Passion Vine. It looks like I have two varieties, but don't know which ones they might be.

This one, I'm fairly sure is P. incarnata

(Carole) Cleveland, TX(Zone 9a)

The leaves on this one don't seem the same at all.

If you could help me ID these, I'd be grateful!

(Carole) Cleveland, TX(Zone 9a)

Ok I guess I underestimated just how many of these seeds would germinate! LOL
And I know they're annuals, but do you think I'd be able to share them?

Carole, if you end up with an extra, even very small division of nun's orchid, please put my name on it. I'm sure I can find something in the greenhouse or garden to offer you in exchange.

(Carole) Cleveland, TX(Zone 9a)

And I guess the same with the Bachelor's Buttons:
