Sylvia, the only things I can remember that I have coming back are from Kim & Charlene. I'm sure Charlene won't mind bringing her iris to me in ET instead. In addition to some plants, though, Kim was bringing me some nursery pots. Pat has a big minivan and doesn't mind bringing those to ET for me. But thank you anyway.
As for the creeping sedum--I gave you some, a couple of years ago, and you have it growing on your front porch. :)
Karlae...I have that one but it's not a big plant. I will see if I can take a cutting for you. My hoyas have gotten very neglected but that is one that doesn't seem to care.

Is everyone here ok with starting this at 9-9:30am? It will be very hot Sat, and we only have the pavilion officially until 2pm. However, for those who cannot arrive that early that is ok, I just want to know when to be there to set up.

I'll put those on the list of plants I am bringing you, Sandy. Has anybody asked for your dwarf nandinas yet? If not, I'd love to have them. I have a perfect spot for a low hedge and need something that keeps its leaves all winter.

Oh boy, I missed alot while I was gone picking up my daughter at Tx Tech. Somebody asked me something, but I can't figure out who it was. I think I have added all the requests to my haves list. Please check it to see if I forgot anything.
Maudie Malcolm doesn't seem to be growing this year except for 1 tiny piece that I put in the ground several months ago, so Trishann if you don't mind I'll wait til next year to bring that one.
For the people who wanted alamanda: I don't know what to think of my alamanda cuttings. I took cuttings back in Feb and they haven't put on any new leaves, so I took more cuttings and stuck them in water. They put on beautiful new leaves, but I don't see much in the way of roots. But I'll pot them up anyway and we'll see what happens.
I'll bring rose cuttings unrooted because every time I try rooting those things they die. I haven't tried it in water. Maybe I should.

Trishann- Do you have any White Texas Star Hibiscus? Even seeds would be great.

ok tonight on the way home, my good neighbor stopped me and offered me a group of what I believe are Amaryllis but she swears they're not, they're lilies of some kind. she just wanted them REMOVED from her yard!! they're the ones with big bulbs, long fat roots (like daylilies honestly), kind of like huge green onions. they have long, floppy green foliage. she said the blooms were pinkish. anyway, i'm keeping 3 or 4 for myself and bringing the rest to the swap.
she also gave me a bunch of daylilies (yellow Stellas) to bring to the swap. When I got back home I was exhausted, but split up the Nun's Orchids (and I have just enough to cover my swaps), and the Walking Iris.
Tomorrow evening I'll dig up everything else and load up my car. Picked up two big bags on chips today, and two bottles of water to make iced tea tomorrow evening. Need to get my cups and paper towels out so I don't forget them. Oh and my chair... Leaving at 7am and should get there in time to get lost, get directions and get found again (LOL).

I am headed out back in a min to work on getting a few more things potted. I was so sleepy today I took a nap and when I got up I bent over slowly to pick up my pants and felt something really painful in my low back. Since L4-L5 and L5-S1 were fused and one failed it is not them but L3-L4 had a tear a few yrs back they did not fix. It felt just like when the other 2 herniated. I sure hope not. I am still coming if I have to crawl hehehe,

I found 4 pine trees growing where they took one down. They are about 6 inches tall and so cute. I am keeping them for now. LOL

Butting in again... Cajun2, your description of those bulbs fits amarcrinums aka crinodonnas. Hardier than amaryllis (they are a cross) and they do much better here.

when i first started trading years ago, before DG, i quickly found people of that other garden site (ahem) wanted to know PRECISELY (and a few were kind of snippy about it lol) so i took some quick lessons in Latin and Botany! HA! Anyway, after that lesson I kinda got into it and now "I" want to know too!

Ok I'm going to have to BEG off this afternoon at 3 to come home and try to finish getting everything ready. In the fall, as soon as we know the date for the swap, I'm going to take off the day BEFORE to get ready and the day AFTER to plant!
I've made the executive decision that anything I was going to dig last minute that I've had NO interest in, unless I just have extra time, will stay in the ground. I think I will have PLENTY to share without digging up my whole yard (LOL j/k).

Sylvia, usually when we start a trade thread each person picks a spot and saves it for his/her trades. Sometimes they just post their trades and ask the host/hostess to link them. If you want to put them all in one place just type them into a reply on this thread and I will link them for you.

Sylvia, just in case you have already forgotten your trades, the only way to get them together is to just go through from the first post you made on this forum and pick out your trades.
Of course the easier way would be for you to just put "Charlene" on each of your tags and then you would know that all your plants go to me! Just Kidding!
