Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Why not 250??

Thomaston, CT

Great---I look like like either a curly, bearded airedale or a pointer! Also loved the story on the cleaner---just a tad obsessive. Went to my felted bunny workshop today----here he is---didn't have time to do the eggs that go with him---and the woman across from me pierced herself with the needle 3x---ugh!

Cute bunny Robin.
We are thinking of going on an excursion train in Mt Hood, Oregon this summer

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Nice! Can't wait to visit out that way.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

I'll check w/Shelly for info.

Victor - 18 plants per flat times 9 equals 252. My math was off by one.

NORTH CENTRAL, PA(Zone 5a)

Is someone being a nit picker? LOL Saw one groundhog out back today. No question about it the critter is now on borrowed time. Yep....Punxy Phill has family. I would appreciate it very much if they when moving about would overlook my half acre. LOL

My thousand square foot garden has been reduced to more like square foot gardening and patio activity. Still have a few thistle around the edges with no good use I have discovered.

I have room for one carrot that would grow eight inches at the crown and eighteen inches deep.
Still looking for that one.

Ya all have a nice grow.

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Hope you are feeling better docpipe.

NORTH CENTRAL, PA(Zone 5a)

Yes feeling better. First two days back in the gym I found out how far out of wack I had been.
This AM I got about half a workout in but took at least twice as much time to get er done. Another week or so I'll be pretty close to back into what I call good shape.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Good to hear, Dwaine.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

go get'em doc - chippy has been almost non-existent here so far:)

Thomaston, CT

Glad you're better! Debi---sounds like a wonderful trip! Oregon is a state with quite different areas---we saw desert as well as rain forest. Am sad today about UCONN's loss, but they actually got farther than I thought---now awaiting the Mets' opener. I can't believe they put brick behind home plate----don't they care about the catchers?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I'm looking forward to the season too, Robin. Worried about Perez. He's been horrible. I'm pulling for Michigan St.

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

Well, At least one Uconn team will be in the final. And its the one with a 100% graduation rate.

NORTH CENTRAL, PA(Zone 5a)

But I fear they are going to take a whooping. LOL

Like Sheep?

My TV repairman just left me with a perfectly working set for this evening's game. Ya all enjoy.

Thomaston, CT

I'm also rooting for MS--don't like Carolina much---too wholesome looking, I guess---sort of the antithesis to Pitt. Mets had a nice win today, & I'm sure UCONN girls will pull it off tomorrow. Don't know why tonight's game is so late---I may make it to halftime.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes - good win for the Mets. K-Rod looked good.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Welcome, Sunny! You're in the right place!

Deb - That train excursion looks great! I'd love to go to Oregon at some point. We are also going to take a train excursion into the Great Smoky Mountains on our trip north. The train crosses a huge gorge and the Fontana Dam....4 1/2 hours, and I got us the really good seats in the Club Car since we are doing a mini-20th anniversary get-away as part of our return trip. Our anniversary was in Dec., but we could only do a day-trip at the time because we had Molly to consider. We have also mapped out a waterfall path through north Georgia into NC. I have been to most of the falls, but I was quite young at the time. Now that I'm old, I really need waterfalls. LOL

Candyce - how are you, Dear? It sounds like you are getting outside and enjoying Spring. Yippee! I'll be seeing you before you know it!

Sherrie - OMG, you are going into real farming with all of those seedlings!!!!

Duane - glad you are feeling better!!

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Louise, that trip sounds like fun too, I love to bask in the scenery.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes - sounds like fun. I love waterfalls. My parents will be married 50 years in June!

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

DH gave me a book a few years ago, titled, I think, 200 waterfalls in NY state. We've been to some, and they have some that you'd never know were there. Ithaca is probably my favorite for waterfalls in NY.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

That's nice. I'll have to look for that book. The most impressive ones I've seen first-hand have been in Yellowstone, Yosemite and in Jefferson national Forest in VA. Never been to Niagara.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

I've been to Niagara many times without stopping at the falls. I've seen Yellowstone and Yosemite, not Jefferson though. We're only about 1 1/2 hrs from Niagara Falls.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Ain't that the way of it debilu. If you live near something, you usually don't visit it very often. We only went to Niagra when we had visitors.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Waterfalls, large and small, stir something so peaceful in me. I love the sound of water trickling and roaring. I have little interest in Niagara Falls, however, because I prefer the less "touristy" places where things are more natural. We'll see how it goes with the ones we plan to see.

Victor - congrats to your parents on their Golden Anniversary. How lovely for you. Any special plans unfolding?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks Louise. And congrats on your 20! Yes, we are planning a big party.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

O good. I luv parties.

Thomaston, CT

My brother & SIL will celebrate 50 years in May---his kids are doing a party--- my parents were married 68 years!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Wow. My grandparents were one month shy of 67.

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

Congratulations on 20, Louise! Just honk when you drive past, okay? It will be good to have you more or less back in the neighborhood.

Edited to correct a misplaced modifier!

Anniversary congrats! It is so nice to see longevity in relationships. My parents will be celebrating 45 years.

I'm happy to see that I am not the only one who has not been to Niagra. I thought I was a freak of nature!

Neither have I - so does that make us 2 freaks in a pod

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

My computer is going super slow today...what's up with that???

My dad passed away just shy of my parents 60th.

It has a touch of a cold

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

I've never been either.

We had a big shin-dig for my folk's 50th and just a couple of weeks before it, a wall cabinet fell as my mom was opening the door and a bunch of plates hit her in the face. Needless to say, Dad a lot of 'splaining to do at the party. She really had some shiners.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Oh - how terrible, Jan.

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

That's one of those stories, that are kinda funny after the fact. As long as she didn't have any broken bones. She really was fortunate.
