sherrie is right - i have been trying to udate mcafee for about a week and no connection. using my work pc to download the programs although this seems to be no easy task - if fact i've been here a couple hours trying - ready to kick down the Gates!!

Saw something on cnet about it yesterday. Try them.

The store I got the job in has some awsome bennies. I will be eligible for a bonus. 125 emps will divide 79 grand. My eyeballs were rolling around. Good grief!

I didn't know anywhere was doing that well - bennies? That's exciting, Sherrie, i can picture you with your eyeballs popping out of your head!

My DSS was denied a bonus this year, even though it was written into his contract, so he quit and got a RAISE working for the competition, even though THAT was forbidden in his contract too. I guess once they broke the contract, he figured all bets were off. He still has the company Blackberry, who knows how long, though?

bonuses are usually at the businesses descretion - i've never seen a contract without a company based out clause. another reason that AIG fiasco smells funny

I dont have it, YET. I watched the news and read on the net. I guess its nasty. It will just travel through the internet wether you open something or not????

victor that cnet recommendation was helpful - mcaffee had a free download called stinger - it scans the whole system - it did not "find" any virus although after running it mcafee updated. so still unsure if i had the virus or something else.

But how did it get there in the first place. My McAfee scans websites, emails and I have it do a nightly scan.

Yes - they said again on the radio this AM that if your anti-virus software was up to date it would have been prevented.

i guess that is why they call it a virus - what disappointed me was that both ms and mcafee did not have a clear and easy patch to cure the problem on the front of their web pages - they were asking for $$ it you needed assistance - with every problem is an opportunity

SunnyBorders I did have a primula peekout and then WOOMF buried in snow again. There is meltdown in some of the beds though this week so maybe my bulbs might peek out soon.

We finally have three clumps of crocus blooming; two yellow and one white. The dog trampled the purple ones. I'm heartbroken.

Planted 251 green bell peppers today. Unreal huh? I get to keep about 18 Whaaa. Now waiting for tomatoes to sprout. Germinating more stuff and stuff. Only 29 packages of seeds so far. Anyone got a GH other than me? I know Celeste does. It would be nice to talk about how you go about starting and growing. Other then the GH forum.
