Helena - Is that one an I. purpurea? Looks like the Purple Flaked one I grew.

Any photo of the bloom today, Debra?

I've been enjoying everyones pretty blooms! Thanks Jackie, Becky I had to look up the name again bluish purple, Aomuraskizyouhantenshibori. Is that the longes name for a mg? Seeds are from Emma, it's still a bit cool here my plants were outside during the cold spell and the leaves got a bit of damage. Now hope I can take better pictures when they bloom.

Thanks Joseph!

This morning's bloom, but not a very good picture. I think there will be a couple of other blooms on other seedlings tomorrow! I'll be out at sunrise with the camera...

Becky, this is another one from the batch of seeds you sent, I think it was labeled Dark Pink Picotee.

Becky, while organizing my seeds a few weeks ago, I found some MG seeds that came from the BF & hummingbird seed swap you did a couple winters ago, and tried to spout them. No luck on the first batch, but the second batch I soaked in some water with H2O and I have sprouts! I think they were from bluespiral.

Gorgeous blooms Helena.

Nice flower photos everyone! I hope my indoor crop starts making some more and soon!

Gautier, MS

Thanks all, the cold weather has affected the blooms to be very small but I guess it'll get better when it warms up.

This is seed from 3rd bloom from Plum Surprise, didn't get seeds from 1st or 2nd bloom.

helenah, your Plum Surprise is smashing! This picture is so cool http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=6423042

I've been taking pictures each morning for the last couple of weeks and am finally getting around to posting some. Here are a couple from the same vine, which is tagged as Hamaginga. I have very naughty blue jays that pulled the plant tags out of 5 or 6 of my 16 pots of JMGs, the very first afternoon I set them outside the lanai for some sunshine and fresh air. I hoped I had put them back in the right pots, but it looks like I didn't!

Dany, maybe this could be the seeds I got from you, labeled as Very Light Blue?

Here are three more pics from the same plant. They were taken first thing in the morning, I think I need to try and take some just a little bit later, when it's brighter outside.

This one is from this morning, my favorite one!
The plant is tiny, only about 5" tall. There were three or four seedlings that I planted out, and only one survived the slugs. :-(
It is labeled Kikyo x Ten Ten

Tagged as Kohkan, showing two very different plants.

The one on the right has a beautiful flower, even if it is a little beat up.

The pink one on the left has had two flowers that have never fully opened up. Maybe next time!

Cathy - This is one looks like it is probably Kohkan. Too bad it didn't open. Keep an eye on this vine! It has variegated leaves and beautiful large blooms ... or at least it should. One of my favorites! They ALL look great! Exciting to see you've got so many growing and blooming!
