SHEESH... seems like all I do anymore is buy groceries... spent 3 hours, and $300 at the grocery store today... put the groceries away, ate a bite of lunch, put dinner on in the crock pot... and now it's almost time to go get Mike at school.... the whole day is shot.
I do have time to fold a few clothes that's been piling up on the chair in the b'room... so... Poof... here I go.

my OH MY do they ever pile the plates full down there! I've never seen anything like it! I came away feeling like I'd gained 10 lbs in 14 days.

my nicest meal was at BJs - she didn't try to overload me with food. (and we ate at the top of the Tower, and the Texas Roadhouse, too!)

Sheesh... all I fed you was a sandwich... and made you fix it yourself... LOL

Yep, Jaye... tell Kel that we're going to feed him my son's special recipe Texas BBQ brisket while he's here... other than that... all the other meals will be just simple fixes... cause, I refuse to spend all my time in the kitchen... I want to visit too. Not to worry, you'll all eat well, and I'll have plenty for everyone... just not going to knock myself out like Kathy did for Labor Day. Sorry sistahs, I love you all, but I ain't goin' there.

I'm coming to see everyone in person! Not to look how clean your house is or isn't, not to constantly be eating but to kick back have fun and enjoy with you doing the same thing.

There's no sunshine today... or yesterday... been rainy and yucky here.
Hopefully we'll have plenty sunshine Mem Day... and a FULL LAKE of water... only 1 more foot, and we're full.

Lolol.. no please don't overload yourself BJ. I'm with Marion and Deborah. We WANT to touch everyone in person, kick back... enjoy the company and it's not all about food, the house nor even entertainment. It's all about finally being with some great sistahs.. and ehem.. funky niece!

We could all bring a dish, and just make it a pot luck visit?
BJ, you may have to buy another fridge! LOL

LOL... LK... that's the one thing I'm worried about... but, I do have 2 ice chests, and can keep ice in them if I need to.

Ok, here's the plan... I'm going to have help for a couple days before the weekend to help me pre cook some of it... NOT mentioning who here, but it will be a surprise... Sweets, snacks, and all that will be done before any of you arrive.
Then on Friday, we're just going to bake a ham, and a roast for sandwiches, and will be available whenever you're hungry... buffet style.

Saturday, Big Breakfast... everyone pitches in to make it... will be a cooking frenzy.... LOL
Before leaving for the Canton First Monday Flea Market, we'll be loading dinner in two roasting pans to slow cook while we're gone. Chickens in one, veggies in the other. Dinner will be ready when we get home, but if anyone's hungry at the flea market, there's plenty food there.

Sunday will be a lighter breakfast... with fruit, muffins, croisants, and such as that... cause... Lunch is going to kill us all.
My son is going to smoke the briskets ( I think he said 4 or 6 of them) on Saturday, before the Sunday BBQ, and bring it with him... he and the family be joining us that day. We'll already have potato salad made, and will make the baked beans that day. I may or may not make homemade bread... don't know if I can make enough of it all at once for this crowd.
All the left overs will be available for munching on all afternoon, and warmed up for dinner if you get hungry again. No more cooking Sunday... and I'm hoping you all eat EVERYTHING before you leave, and not leave me with a bunch of left overs.

Monday Breakfast will be traditional scrambled eggs, buscuits, gravy, bacon, sausage, and jellies. If anyone wants something special... please let me know.

After that... we're playing it by ear.

If life is good to me, I'll have enough tomatoes from my garden to feed this army by then.

I'm already hungry!!

LOL-you all are funny-I have chili cooking in the crockpot right now-I have just been run down all day and went grocery shopping-I have a lot to do B4 mom comes this weekend...

Joyce-maybe if I can handle it I can try to make you one:)

Cody-not sure-it would be pricy to mail unless it was mailed unassembled-and have no clue how much wood would be-I want to make a few more for pressies...

BJ-the sleighs were easy for the most part-I would like to try some with snowmen and reindeers and all kinds of other Xmasy stuff-also try trays and maybe tables, I can think of all kinds of things to use the technique on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has rained all day here-maybe that is why I feel in the dumps today...

I am just taking a moment to drop in and say Hello..My Nephew was nice to drop off my mail(what little I have) and brought his laptop for me to use for alittle bit so I had to jump on to say hello..
I do have a small request for you all..
Since I can't get out that much and tv is getting boring..I was wondering if you had any books or magazines your wanting to get rid of I'd like it if you'd send them my way..
No preferances..

Or even some snail mail would be great..
