OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!! Where was I, what was I doing, I feel so bad!!! I didn't know the baby had arrived. DEBORAH, hugs, kisses and more hugs and yes, welcome to the Grandmother's Club. Bestest club right after Motherhood. I feel like a heel not knowing Riley was here. Guess I missed it in all the confusion here.
What wonderful items so far and more to come!! I have goose bumps--more like elephant bumps now. Congratulations sweet lady!!! Love the bottles from BJ and yes all the other things also. Didn't Judy do an outstanding job on the quilt? Perfection in her first try--way to go gal!!
wow very nice quilt.. Judy id a wonderful job on i>> I really love that its done different on each side...
Cindy I love to camp.. We are actually going to pitch tents while looking for a house in ohio when we get there.. I cant wait and miss camping sooo much.. My uncle has 5 acres that backs up to a state park we always hiked in so we are gonna set up at his cabin.. He says we can stay inside but the kids want to camp so camping it is.. LOL
When I got a large Kellogs case cardboard box from Linda Kay and opened it, I 'bout fell on the floor!. Immediately picked up the phone to call her. Naturally I got an answering machine! But, Linda Kay, girl friend please! You just bought Riley "Babies R Us" and boxed it. Y'all, she had it packed with darling outfits, bibs,a handmade playpen quilt and an amusement toy that can be attached to a playpen or crib. Playpen more than likely cause I ain't letting Riley sleep at Nana's house. She can sleep when she gets home.
Marion, don't feel bad. I knows where you was at the festival with your hair on fire! LOL Riley had to be delivered C section 6 weeks early because Ashley's blood pressure could be controlled. That bottom number stayed in the high 100's. Riley weighed 5 lbs 11oz but now she's lost some weight and is at 5lbs 2 oz.
Donna, camping builds wonderful memories for your kids! Last a lifetime.
OMG... Judy... that quilt is soooo wonderful.
LK... you outdid yourself agian, sistah.
All your "Nana Gifts" are wonderful, Deb. Feeling the LUV?
Yes, sistah BJ I'm hugged tight!!!!!!!!!!!
Marion... don't feel so bad... you were a bit swamped for a while...
Like we say here... you were up to your neck in alligators. I am glad you're back with us now... feeling better?
Thank y'all so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a wonderful surprise. Just might have to bake me a cake and eat it all by myself. But I will be thinking about my sweet thoughtful and generous sistahs. Ya'll are too much, you know that?
You're welcome, sis Deborah... we love you.
Awwww.. I'm so crying here. I'm seeing the love from our sistahs in each gift made or picked just for Nana.. and Riley!
Deborah, you don't know how hard it is to keep my mouth shut when BJ organized this surprise!!!!
Now sistahs, will I get the same love if me and Kel go adopt a grandchild?
Great job sistahs!! Beautiful quilt Judy. When Judy read me that tale, Deborah, I was enchanted!
LK, again, your heart shows ^_^
Wow Chris.. which baby store did you rob? He he he!!
Debra certainly using her new machine well!! Love the quilted burp pads!
BJ, I love you for being so thoughtful and sacrificing your eyes to do the beautiful, beautiful bottles!

Deborah, I made the blanket, and picked out the little toy, but my Dad picked out the outfits. I left the tags on, just incase, you need to take them back for something else! So glad to see all the pressie you are getting for the new Granny!!! Now we need more pictures of the precious cargo. Losing a little weight is normal. I think all newborns loose a little bit, but once they figure out the eating schedule, they will start growing again.
Enjoy the gifts! Looks like she will be all set for clothes and other items for a bit!
Bj, that bottle is so cute. Love the little flowers and butterflies.
Judy, that quilt is so pretty. Nice job!
Debra, look at the sewer you have become. Love the handmade burp cloths, and all the stitching you have done! Did not take you long to pick up the habit!

Well good thing about you ladies... you are potty trained!!!
Are you sure?
Slapping my forehead silly!!!!
Kim, congrats on the new boy friend!!! Love has NO boundaries!!
Good excuse to go somewhere for the weekend!!
I have missed all of you so much--something just wasn't right in my life. I now belong to Tinky's club with her view of things that live in the water--oysters can't swim can they? Duh!
Puhleez don't tell me you had shellfish poisoning??? Oh no Maid M..
I love oysters in any form, so far I've been lucky!! Will certainly get them only cooked, next time.
No threads are the same without your wits.. Welcome back most venerable one :D
Oh thank you my dear sweetest of the sweet. I missed you gals more than you will know. Yes, it was shellfish--thank goodness Gainesville is where my doctor is and 2 of my friends to to him. They were able to call and explain the situation and get meds for me before I had a potassium crash and had to go be refilled. So something went right. You know when I passed up chocolate anything--it was bad! Good side--do you know how much weight you can drop in 24 hours? To bad it doesn't stay off!
I just spoke to Kathy's daughter on the phone... and she said that she didn't think her mom would mind if I posted an update here.
Kathy and Mike got over the crud, but it passed around the family for a while. Then, Hurricane Pam got sick with the crud, and that was like taking care of a whole state of sick people... she's better now.
Then, Mike's mom died, and they are now in West Virginia for the funeral... and have taken Hurricane Pam with them. She should be back by Friday, and her daughter promised to tell her that we all love her, and want to hear from her.
Thanks for the update BJ. So sorry to hear all the bad news, of everyone sick, then Mike loosing his Mother. Will continue to send prayers for them.
LK
Wow.. poor Sis Kathy.
Thanks BJ. Was wondering why the silence.
Oh BJ thanks for the update. I have been worried about Kathy even though I haven't been actively calling--not much time until now. Prayers for her and Mike and their families.
Thanks BJ Its nice to no I glad the worst is over I hope. I talked with Susan Turtlechi ninja girl Today they have been sick but all is getting well and they have alot going on getting ready for spring She has so many Plumami (SP) Big plants that she puts outside and brings in The fall. She will pop in soon

Flaming Kim
Thank you Kim. I haven't even put my plumerias outside!!! Too big to keep hauling them back and forth!
Susan take care sweetie. We want you healthy and happy!
I haven't even stepped out yet, nor ran errands :(
Time to do so..
Just a quick pop in......yeah Deborah!! Beautiful goodies.
Hugs and Prayers to all in need....
Have been out to the hospital to check on Doris, our little neighbor lady....she may get to come home tomorrow....have to pick Laura up and pick Sage up.....then they have Parent teacher conference....then we we have to go watch Orion so his mother can take his dad out to take his written test and make appointment for his driving test....then they can deliver and pick him up when they need Laura to babysit, and I won't have to do it all the time....should have a little time to check back in before Sage goes to climbing class....I have signed her up for a new session....it gives her something constructive to do two afternoons a week.....it's kind of a pain and a the timing is awkward this session but it is worth it as it is good exercise and she enjoys it. Don't know if I will go to Spin Class or not...I would just like to go back to bed if left to myself:(
TTYL
Woah, I missed the party!
My gosh, BJ...The lotion bottle is outrageously gorgeous! I love that Baby riley has to wait 20+ years..lol that is just too cute.
LK, wow, your rag quilt for the playpen is adorable. I love the frog side too!
and oh the little sunshine dress just knocked me out!
Debra, what a wonderful job on the burpee cloths. You are really good at sewing, I am glad you are liking your sewing machine!...Hey where are you anyway, haven't seen you in ages.
Marion, OMG always marvelous to see you, I am glad you are back! Now I do hope you are feeling much better. Yikes, food poisoning...
Deborah, Marion, Jaye and Betty kept me sane, while I worked the quilt. They all gave wonderful advise. Thank you my sistahs! Your awsom.
Loved all the gifts and wasn't it fun to see all! LOL, the Charlie the Caterpillar" book is one of mine, or my kids, I had forgotten all about it until I cleaned out the kids corner to make it mine, anyway I saved that one because I just love the story and the pictures...Charlie is so adorable. Anyway before I get way off, lol...I did read it to Jaye and was telling her I wanted to get a copy for you but didn't think it was available and Jaye found it on line for me sooo, ran right out book store jumping till I found it!!
Donna, that is incredible news, so happy that things are looking good!
Cindy, camper camping is so much fun, I am sure it is a wonderful experience for the kids...nothing like a little travel to appreciate our world.
Well, i got way sidetracked today. Was going to work outside, but it was windy and cold. Steve called and asked if i could deliver some sotuff he forgot...So, jumped in my car and did that. Well, now, was going to come back and work but then, I decided to stop at Menards. Got some soil and a few items for the yard. oh gosh, they had a sale on roses...So, needless to say had to eye them all up and don'tchya know one hopped right into my basket said she fell in love with me!! She is a Heirloom Hybrid Tea Rose. When she smiles at me she will be Deep Lavender. Oh I am so excited. Uh, next time I will pass have to visit her friends because Garden Party wanted to come too but didn't have enough for her too. So we had to leave her pouting...well don't you know i have to go right past JoAnns so had to stop and just see what was up there, they missed me since i finished the quilt! So, had just a few bucks and that was just enough for some colored clay...5 for 5 dollars!! man, wish i had some more money!!
KIM, Hi, glad your home and things are going well. Nice visit you had and oh...good lookin fella!
Ok, well sun breaking out and I have got to pretend i didn't spend any money and look busy...lol
By the way thank you all, your so sweet for wanting me to stay healthy.
Jaye got to laugh out loud, when Deborah called...lol it took every ounce to not ask what else she got!
What a grand idea, I enjoyed the Nana Shower, your so loved and lots hugs going out to you and Riley!!
See ya later.
oh, heah, that polymer clay bottle looks like the one I saw on bj's workbench! it sure was pretty. it turned out very very nice - looks better with that spout thingy.
no time to read more, off to soccer practice.
Quick in and out between trips... Hey Judy!!!! Guess where I was yesterday and spent my last $5 on 5 packs of clay in brown, grey and green????? Great minds think alike???
Got to get the soup on before I have to pick Sage up for class...hopefully will catch you all before you go to bed....later!!
DANG... wish there was a JoAnns close enough to take advantage of things like "clay sales"... I feel so deprived...
Looking out my kitchen window, I have to take that back... glad I live here.
JoAnns could move here though...

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you all... Dilly and Dolly are back !!!!
I know it's them, because they come right up to the door and practically knock for their bread. Dolly has followed me in the door before when I came to get a slice of bread for them...
AND Don hasn't even made the duck boxes yet... he has the plans printed, just laying on his work bench... guess he can do that in all his spare time, huh? Wonder where we can buy Spare Time?
Ladies, I guess I'm just about set up for surgery on my knee. I go see him Thurs, then go back in a few days for pre-op.
I started cutting out my rag squares today. I'm cutting them 7 in. I think that'll be just about right!
Audrey, that was pretty quick, it took mine months to get scheduled!
I wish you luck, and we will be praying for you!
How long is your recovery?
BJ, glad to hear the ducks are back.
