OMG I am so lost have no idea what is happening. Well I am done with all my trips maybe. I found a VERY NICE MAN But again it is a long distance affair He is a Logger and has his own company and very busy which is good Cause My job should be starting middle of April so far all is going on time for the April 10 or sooner on the close if the house. I will be so happy with this stress gone.
Well I did something( HAHAHA) this weekend that I always wanted to do They Taped the tree's and we started to do Maple Syrup I will send some pictures and the Man in The red plaid shirt I think he cute.
He is on vacation and wanted me to go if I had nothing to do I wood have gone in a second and he wood pay for all pretty cool
I will send some pic. of the process of the syrup
OO Kim you are making me long for home even more wiht all your pictures of the snow and maples.. We used to go to the Maple Tree tapping at our local parks every year.. Loved it..
Judy do keep warm if you are working out in the rain.. Jaye is right we dont need anybody else getting sick and not feeling well..
Jaye hope you have a GREAT day... Dot over do it okay..
Well the gentleman from teh barbers board just called me asking about my schooling and where I went while I was in ohio so apparently he was VERY serious and again asked if I could be there any sooner.. So I suppose when Max gets up I will have to talk with him again about our move date.. His family is comming down in 3 weeks and he said he wanted to at lest wait so we could all go to the beach for some last hurrah pictures so Maybe we can go afte rthey leave.. Im gonna try to sneak a few boxes with them on their way home too.. LOL
I took all my Boyds and red splatterware down from the kitchen and washed everything for packing this morning and whew they were all very very dusty.. So afte rgetting these ones boxed the kitchen will be done except for a few mugs, pots and basic things we use daily.. Everything else is packed and ready to roll in this room.. We are using paper plates and owls so I packed up teh regular dishes.. lol
Welll I better get back to work for now..
Huggs
Donna
Donna that's the easiest way to do it, improvise until after your move. Moving across country is NOT easy by any means. I'm so glad the job is coming through for you!
Kim that looks like fun work, and Hurray you met someone! That's way cool.
Good Morning sistahs!
Randall's off this morning to VA. He's made that trip many times. But ever since he had a tire blow out on I-295 in heavy fast traffic and rain, he's been a little worried every time he leaves. I've just put in in the Lord's hands for a while.
Yakima! now that's an old familiar name. Haven't thought of it's apple orchards by the mile and hops growing 20 ft in the air on telephone pole trellises in years! never will forget the time a newbie to the area called it ya-KEE-ma - too funny! it's YAK-i-ma.
Be careful what you wish for Donna! There's going to be more work than days left to do it all as it is!
Kim - ah! memories of New Hampshire and my college big sister Sue's family dairy farm. Makes me what to go visit - NOT! it's dang cold up there still!
Crissy - I see you have just as healthy weeds as are in my iris beds!
nice to know I'm not alone.
Marion - good to hear your "voice". now get better.
now out to weed....
Welcome everyone to the new grandma (Nana) shower. I'll pass the pretties around so everyone can see how cute all of Riley's gifts are. All of these have been given with strict rules that they must stay at Nana's house so Riley will have things here when she visits me'. which hopefully will be at least once or twice a month.
Jaye sent my very own diaper bag that has slots for pictures and a Tweety Bird receiving blanket. The bag also has a removable changing pad. I can picture Riley and me sitting down by the pond enjoying the cool breeze. Nana will have everything she needs in the bag!
IT'S RAINING !!! YEA !!! Means the lake is filling up... boy, we sure need it.
It also forces me indoors to clean the sun porch...
Don went out in the rain before he left for work to measure the pontoon boat seats so we can order the vinyl to recover them. First thing he said when I told him this morning about how many we're expecting so far for Mem Day weekend was, "better get busy on those seats"... hehehe... he's excited to meet you all, and take you out on the lake.
I've never seen Maple trees tapped for syrup... guess I need to add that to my bucket list.
Donna... if that barber shop owner really wants you, he'll wait till you can get there... Don't rush your move and make any serious mistakes.
Plus... you're kids won't be out of school until May...
Jaye, and Judy... that lady at the hotel is a real talker... she really loves to bend ones ear... you'll love her as soon as you meet her... might even have to invite her to the bbq.
Well... back to the sun porch clean up... making room to get those seats brought up here.
OH, DEBORAH... so glad to see you post your new nana gifties...
What can you say about all the detail on this lotion bottle!!!!! I can only shake my head and my eyes just tear up to think that BJ had me and Riley on her mind while she worked on this. When in this world did you find time to make this gorgeous bottle? You've made a landscape pathway, worked in your gardens, took a mini vacation, entertaining an exchange student, and still found time for me. BJ I'm honored sweetie. Thank you
Late at night, when it's quiet... using my oil lamp and spectacles... hehehe...
No, really... I just seem to find the time for things like that... specially for my dear sistahs.
I'm glad you like it Deborah... and I hope you and Riley get lots of fun times applying lotion with it as she gets older.
This group of sweeet goodies is from Clan Campbell Chris! Chris you sweetie! She welcomes me to the granny club LOL! Chris has 7 grans and is expecting #8 in Oct. The disposible bibs are too neat. Whoever heard of such? The even have a crumb catcher. LOL There's a soft blanket and two precious picture frames and one has a "baby sleeping" tag for Riley's bedroom door.
BJ I'm thrilled!!!! It will definiately be a treasure for her to pass down. But she's not getting it until she's older. 20+ Got to be old enough to appreciate it. Know what I mean Vern??
I just need a picture of Riley so that I can finish mine and get it to you, Madam Butterfly. Just waiting patiently ^_^.............
Deborah your gifts are beautiful! I had intended on sending you a few goodies but wasnt able too.. Maybe once she gets alittle bigger I can send a special package.. That bottle is definately very very pretty.. Just amazing
BJ Im not rushing anything but I do wish we could go earlier.. Th egentleman just called and said he spoke with the owner of the shop and he wants me to call him here shortly to speak with him directly.. Im so excited.. Nice to know things are finally falling into place..
As for the kids if we went early we could transfer them to th elocal school my MIL works at for the remainder of the year if it was nescassary.. They wouldnt mind as they are ready to go themselves.. LOL Tony is soooo excited to see his papw again..
Crissy and Bonnie no worries please.. I am taking the house packing one room at a time and not pushiing too hard.. Its good to have a plan unlike when I moved here.. I sold everything I had and whatever woouldnt fit in my car was donated.. LOL I moved with Tony, a umbreela cockatoo and a quaker parrot in my old grand am.. lol
This was a tear jerker big time! I got Judy's box on Thursday not knowing there were more surprise boxes to follow. I called Judy and she had been working on this QUILT!! for some time (of course) "perfection takes time" like Marion always says. The sippie cups will come in handy. Aren't they cute? One has some sparkly liquid made inside it. I can't wait to read the two books to Riley. One is by Dom DeLouise called "Charlie the Caterpillar". It's a very entertaining book. Judy read it to me several months ago. I just assumed it belonged to Jacob or one of the girls. LOL Judy you sneak you!
Donna, don't you dare think twice about it! I know your situation sweetie and I want you to get settled in your new home in Ohio as your first and upmost priority.
I'm going to be outside. We brought my mom's motorhome down here so that we can give it some TLC so we can do lots of camping this summer. It's an oldie, but it still gets us to where we want to go.
camping sounds like fun! Cindy!
