Jaye momma is doing better,still gets tired easy ,but the cough is almost gone.
Got family coming from all directions,New York,Indiana.Oklahoma,Rick's grandmas funeral is Tuesday morning so been getting crazy here,got the family spread from one end of the county to the other,trying to fit everybody in.
And all my momma keeps telling me is ,Synda you really need to dye your hair,your grey is really getting bad on top....no matter how sick she gets ,she is always presentable.You can't imagine how many times I'll call her before she goes to bed and I'll ask what are you doin,she'll say curling my hair in case I die in my sleep.I don't want anybody to see me looking bad.She is one of those very proper ladies.All my life I've heard ,"Synda what am I going to do with you",or "Do you really think that is wise".....LOL.I have always been the outspoken tomboy.Need to go to town tomorrow because me and my last pair of good pantyhose agreed to disagree ,I won......LOL.So I need to go a new pair.

Jaye always loved camelia but my nephew starts throwing up if he gets close to them so I never planted any just to be safe..

Morning Ladies...
Laid down to watch TV last night at 8:30... fell asleep... woke up around 9 to turn the tv off... MAN, I was tired last night. I woke up this morning before the alarm.
Mike's back to school this morning... spring break is over.
He was such big help last week to help me with the flower beds... I'm sure going to miss him when I have to send him home.
My g'daughter thinks I should choose another boy for next year's student too... she such a tomboy, and says she just gets along better with boys... yea, right... I think it's her hormones talking.

Soon as it gets light outside, I'm going to start on the other bed on the front of the house... shade bed... I feel like I'm on the down hill slide now.

Oh, such cute kitties... they're so cute when they're first born.

I'm with Donna... I only own a pair of panty hose for those emergency times... still in the package after 3 years...

Well, better get busy and get dressed so when the sun comes up I can get started.

More digging yesterday with a short trip next door for Kubota rescue supervision. :o) It's coming along nicely. The white Bleeding Hearts are up and looking great, but the pink ones are MIA. Bertie's are up which made me think to look for mine. I'm hoping they're hiding under some leaf litter. After a nice day today and tomorrow, there should be some other things pop up.

I'm already getting a nice tan. I said it was from working in the garden and Bill said it was from sitting in the chair watching the pond progress....^_^ whatever it is, I have white stripes on my feet from flipflops!

Well, my garden is almost done. I have 20 angel trumpet plants in there so far, and I am thinking of puttting maybe some zinnia's and or some dahlias in the back along the fence, and maybe something else to fill in for ground cover. If anyone has suggestions for sull sun ground cover, please let me know!
I placed the new angel statue in the center back, and my new leaf birdbath from Phyllis center front. I still need to make a base for it. The empty keg is just to show where it is going.
There will be 2 more little planters made to go out front, made from the timbers, so maybe I can use the timbers for a birdbath base?

Cindy, those EE were huge! You should have seen Phyllis when she saw them, like a kid in a candy store! And it took a lot of persuasion on her part to let Ken cut them down for her.

Well I'm off to the store to buy another pair of pantyhose to fight with (maybe I'll get 2 ,just in case....LOL).I can't imagine having to wear those things all the time.I'm a blue jeans,short,t-shirt,tank top,bare feet kinda girl........not pantyhose.

Got my glasses back! Returned to the Thai restaurant, and the owners had kept them for me. Of course Kel had Thai for lunch.. good payoff for him.


Had a nice call from Sis Deborah. She's really batting hard for the games;) Complaining of feeling yucky.. told her that she wasn't used to the clean air after giving up ciggies!! Lolol.. have fun Sis!!

Synda, glad to know your mum's feeling better. As for her being so proper.. you had not met my mum. Laughter is not considered ladylike :*( Maybe that's why I laugh so much when she wasn't around!

Woohooo.. can't wait for my giant Porto X Dora something, something... elephant ears to start showing off. Maybe Phyllis can give me a lesson in making birdbaths;)

Well at least I did something to the garden. Trimmed whatever I had left of the rose bushes.. down to a foot off the grounds. My forsythias are blooming forth and the red honeysuckles are showing off along with the Carolina Jessamine.. had I said that? BUT the winds... ahhh... they're blowing pollen onto my face!!!
