Pretty! Thanks for starting a new thread.

Andalusia, AL(Zone 8b)

Very pretty! I like the eucodonia flower,How big is the whole plant Tommie?

Jasper, AR(Zone 7a)

Not big at all --it is in a solo cup. It is finally fully open in this pic. I am thinking I really like this plant--not sure if any others made it or not will check in the am.

OH ALL of those pretties!! had to take a look!!!

(Zone 1)

Great blooms Tommie! Love the Eucodonia. I've never grown them but I think I remember a couple of years ago someone posting a picture of one they grew from seed they got from the Gesneriad Society, it might have been Keyring or RainGazer but I don't remember for sure. Episcia Sparkle Plenty is pretty and I really, really like that bloom on Sinn. Ozark Pink Popcorn!

Jasper, AR(Zone 7a)

LOL I just looked to see how many Eucodonia I have--guess it's one of those "easy from seed" gessies-- I have a bunch. a lot are similar to the blooming one (seed from GSA) and others that are going to be taller and woolly-- some white & some pink (seed from GHA). i do see i need to do some serious repotting!! tomorrow-- tonight I am fighting the woodstove-- my flue is apparently plugged and it is smokey in here-- trying to get the stuff vented-- come tomorrow I will smell like a hickory smoked ham-- probably already do. Fire never dies down when you WANT it to!!

(Lynn) Omaha, NE(Zone 5a)

Tommie,
I love that little eucodonia.I have never grown one.
Oh my gosh,I can't imagine having to fight a woodstove anymore! One good thing is plants don't seem to suffer much from smoke!
I do love the smell of a hickory smoked ham....although not if it's me LOLOL.(not laughing at you, just picturing this battle) I hope you get it vented soon.^_^
Lynn

Jasper, AR(Zone 7a)

well-- the stove is tamed-- got up and cleaned the flue out--gross!! Have the fire going now and all the dogs are soaking up the heat. I Imagine I will have extra eucodonias ^_^ I seem to remember reading that it was under appreciated and that is why i got the seed. I am totally smitten with the one that is blooming. Ah well-- off to the shower-look like a chimney sweep--smell like a ham LOL

Frederick, MD(Zone 7a)

OT...but is Jasper found in your area?

Jasper, AR(Zone 7a)

As far as i know we are mostly limestone, sandstone and shale--but the "other" rocks are jasper. Have no idea of the history of the name--could be there was a large amount somewhere.

Nottingham, MD(Zone 7a)

Gran, love the leaves on Sparkle Beauty!

Frederick, MD(Zone 7a)

I don't have the proper ID on this one but it is one of my favorites. The color is the prettiest coral. Wish I had a lipstick just like it. I call it Lurgan's Coral.

Very pretty flowers, everyone. I love looking at all the pretties and wanting them all. It's so hard to pick and choose.

Nottingham, MD(Zone 7a)

Lynn, it has dots on the lower lip. Ya can't really see that in the pic, though. Very pretty.

(Lynn) Omaha, NE(Zone 5a)

It's very pretty! Bonnie has a picture of one with a two colored flower on one of the threads, but I think it's a different one.

Nottingham, MD(Zone 7a)

Yeah, I think Bonnie's was 'Showtime'. I have one, but no blooms yet!

(Lynn) Omaha, NE(Zone 5a)

Yours and hers are the first I've seen with 2 colors.I really like them.

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

Last Nov--I stuck a leaf and labeled it "Pretty pink NoID"--This plant is a standard---Here's my Pretty Pink NoID....

This is what grew from that leaf--looks like a mini, and I do not recognize the bloom. I have no clue! It is not even pink.
