joeswife, we are in for another bout of cold weather , almost down to freezing on Friday night. I hope this is the last cold weather for us.
LMK if you can not find a cross vine, they usually mark them down to nothing at Lowe's.

Sunshinesw, I would like to complement you on the great photography. The colours are popping out at me.
I am enjoying a dull rainy day today, not a good day for gardening.

Plac...

You made me laugh at your 4:30 post. My DH had that in the planter in the front when I moved in. They were growing like wild-fire and I pulled them all out. No blooms just green #$*(#!

You make them look good.

sunshine, I think I have some of that hoya from Dollie ;; I didn't know it bloomed.. does it go out side in full sun or No?

Cape Coral, FL(Zone 10a)

Good morning!
Joeswife, it can go outside but not full sun. East exposure is great for hoyas. Some of the hoyas have nice fragrance but not the one on post #0320714.

My hoyas are all very happy in my screened lanai.

Chicago, IL(Zone 5b)

joeswife,

That looks like a baby croton and indeed tropical.

The one hoya that survived the 10 day dip in the pool thanks to Wilma is in shade on the lanai and has just started to bloom again.

Rob, very jealous here since I can't grow that one. And I love red!

I'll second Vossner's comment!

How big are the blooms. I had one a few years ago, and it reminded me a bit of a tomato plant.

Randy, remember the fireman's cap you gave me that I had brutally whacked? well, look at it. It's gonna be awesome when it blooms. I knew it would come back.

Hey, I'm back. Been so busy. But I have stuff sprouting up everywhere. The Red Lion Amaryllis bloomed last week with 4 buds! I have white ones waiting to open now.

I hand pollinated them so hopefully I will get some seeds soon.
