Hope it's Ok that I kick this off...
So... Last August, we treated my friend Barbara to her first MLB game to see our Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park..
As luck would have it, the night we were there was only our new #44 Jason Bay's second night playing for us.
And he belted out a homer that made me and Barbara literally cry like wussies!
When we dropped her off that night, Barbara gave me this mini noID, which I decided to nickname Jason Bay, as a reminder of the cool game we'd been to that night.
Now it's finally blooming for me and WOW--What a knockout! (Or should I say Home Run? ha!)
African Violet - noID "Jason Bay"
March Blooms!
Whoa, that's a beauty! And nice photo too, by the way :)
HA!!! "Ida Wanna" whadda great name...
Purple is REALLY hard to photograph--I try to google tips on photographing purple all the time and there's alotta discussion from photographers across the board saying it's a really hard color to "get right".
I was really lucky--The color of "Jason Bay" is just about spot-on... I truly think it's luck mosta the time when it comes to purples.

Great blooms to begin the month of March, ladies! Cute baseball story and I love that you named the pretty noid after a player! That AV noid is really gorgeous.
LOL, re: photographing the color purple .... if it's me taking the picture, it's hard sometimes to get Any color right!

Brenda,
I love your Salmon Sunset... I also love the Silvia in the back ground and also the Roulette Azur.... Very pretty...
I have about 8 -10 plants I am trying to find the names of and for the life of me I can't... It really gets my goat that I can't find the names... I may post them here later and let you ladies have a shot at it....
Brenda, Nice to have you back...
Hugs,
Susan
Hey Susan, bring on the streps with no names, I could name some that are distinctive and I'm sure others could toss some names out for harder ones. Since you knew the names at one time hopefully our ideas and guesses would ring a bell for you helping you to remember.
I'm getting first blooms on a couple of Bristol's Zapped grown from leaf.
~Brenda
