Another beauty, Weeze! How long do they take?

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

Very nicely done, Ms. Weeze! Just awesome!

A discus!

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Time spent is all related to the intricacy of the design. The fish was very easy. Large pieces = less cutting. The basic breakdown for the fish would be about:
1/2 hour drawing design and prepping
1-2 hours setting tiles (this is the step that really changes depending on design)
let cure 24 hours
1/2 hour grouting
let cure 24 hours
polish and seal

If it's being done with wet cement, take off one day of curing. And if this weather doesn't change I'm going to have lots of mosaics :(
Send us some warm weather Shelly!!

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

I should have checked for a birthday thread here sooner. Happy, happy dear shelly!

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

Willie, I agree completely!

That's a cool pic Weeze! nice job on that piece. I don't have the patience for something like that. Nor the skill, but definitely not the patience! I'll work on getting that warm weather to you, but It'll have to be soon. They're saying snow again for us thursday. But, just a little. Not anything like your storm.

Jan, your timing is perfect.

Okay, Shelly. This has to be the most fantastic thread ever. These pictures are outrageous. And I want one of each of these plants, pretty please.

I came over here to make sure that the NE Forum knew it was your birthday and find that these guys have put your "HOME" forum to shame. But in a good way.

Happy Birthday again!! I hope you're having a nice one.

Katie, thanks, and .... I agree. Nah, the PNW is great in a different way indeed. But, this is definitely a fun group. I think that but for you, I, and just a couple of others, we seem to hibernate in the winter. It'll pick up soon.

Thanks Pattie and Bill. Great pics for both of you! Awesome shirazz.

Good grief Victor!! Great job on the ID!! I never would have guessed that one.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

It was a beautiful tree pic.

I'm liking those hydrangeas, too.

Woodinville, WA(Zone 8b)

The soil is pretty acid here, so blue is our default color. And this 'Nikko Blue' is so well-established that I don't have to do anything to it (my kind of plant).

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

victor if my seeds come up i'll give you one - if your nice

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

Nice? who knew? lol
