love the garden Al... very pretty
I think my seed starting last night kicked my butt today... man I am shot... can't wait for the warmer weather!
Coffee Break # 5 - One week to daylight savings!
Dahlia - I think it is very healthy and very thoughtful for you to share your nice experience in such a bad situation with us. It is good to talk about the tough things that we face, and DG friends do really care about what is happening with each other. That was a very classy thing for your manager to do that. I'm sure he is in pain as well. I'm sure you will be a great support for your co-workers who were let go, and also for others among us who are going through such tough times. I applaud you.
DN... we are here for you too... if you need the shoulder just dmail
My shoulder is available as well. You've all been so kind and so comforting in our loss of Molly, and that meant so much to me. If I can give support in return, it will be equally sincere. Bad things happen to really good people - especially in times like these - so it is very important to be there for each other. It cuts the load in half when someone cares.
Thanks my friends for letting me share that. I just needed to do that for the ones who were let go. I'm good now and I can move on. Again thanks so much for letting me talk about this. You don't know how much it helped. You all truly are the bestest ^_^
That was a really nice thing for the manager to do.
Thanks flowerjen. I thought so too. Time to move on though.... I know you all care... but perhaps pics of emerging weeds in Dahlias garden will..... just be weeds in Dahlias garden.... but it did sound exciting, at the get go, work with me, work with me.... sigh
Yes - very nice boss. Not enough of them. Hopefully he will be rehiring some!
Welcome Lycodad!
I thought Michael Jackson was dying? Didn't they report he had some strange disease recently? Now I'm gonna have to google him......
He's had all kinds of weird diseases. He was talented though. I remember way back in '75. My friend and I were trying to do the 'robot' dancing he did for Dancing Machine. We recorded that Motown reunion and tried to do the moonwalk. I like the sideways one even more.
see....I'm not losing my mind...

Of course - many stars are known to make miraculous recoveries from many ailments...
and you are going to post the video to youtube when?
Hee hee. You can easily find the reunion one.
yaaaahoooo
changing clocks tonight... not next week
sorry I misunderstood... was still sleeping
:)
too much warm air all at once... going to make a mess with all that snow left over... you getting rain as well?
the sun is barely up.Here's what greeted my eyes. I couldnt believe what I was seeing.
At first I took it personally because I use white plastic spoons as plant markers and they stand out until plantlife covers them.
GD graduates in June, thank gawd - - - - -
wish I had caught the little BA---RDS.
Allthose light spots are plastic forks and knives.
There were two 288 ct. boxes on top of her car. Guess she was at a party last night.

I am really looking forward to daylight savings....however I am not looking forward to trying to get the kids used to it again. It really does a number on our bodies doesn't it?
usually takes me a couple of weeks
Yes, I don't sleep well after the clocks change either way. Jo Ann---those spoons are too funny!
maybe she was using the spoons to crawl her way back into the house
Latest hoovering parent alert. CT stunents are in the middle of taking their achievement tests. Parents in at least 1 town contacted the Super to take this Monday off because the kids would be affeted by Daylight Savings Time. Tests were interrupted until Tuesday.
we are raising a bunch of woosies ... well not me... per say
Its a spring prank. I was p---ed at first but now it funny.
Neighboes are calling with condolences. We are the newbies in the neighborhood so its our turn.
could be worse too... by my mother they went down the street and poured motor oil over the tops of every car on the street... they ran out right before my truck... my sisters & mothers car ... the paint was trashed... and it took forever to try and get it off
What you do is you collect about half off the lawn .... then, just where you stop collecting them, chalk an outline of a body and put POLICE tape around the perimeter of the yard ..... then stay in the house and laugh!
jo ann that must have taken some time!!
Good idea
Ide like to see heads on spikes in the front yard.
Must have been done around 10PM I go to sleep at 8
LOL... Victor that's great.. at least they will know you have a sense of humor
What's a hoovering parent, Dave? Vacuuming?? What number does daylight savings do to our bodies???
I love DST!
In our DDs neighborhood in Ohio, it's pink flamingos. At least you can use the spoons to mark your own stuff--no more expense.
My first reaction as soon as disbelief wore off ,was "Did they get into the garage and use all my spoons?" Those are sacred and no-one touches them.
