I am just going to start this thread with a picture and will post the others tomorrow, but I think it is time for our dial up people to see.

Gessie blooms #6 for February
i love growing branwen
Ooh I love Branwen, Gail! That netting is gorgeous!
Well hi everybody! Sorry I've been gone so long, but my precious husband is finally back on his feet and doing so much better! Thank you for the prayers - he certainly needed them!
I've lurked a little, just to see who's still here and who's new. LOTS of new people I don't know, but that's okay, we'll meet soon! And I'm THRILLED to see Karen and Brenda! Hi girls!! Great big hugs to y'all and everybody else! I've sure missed you guys!
So many of my plants have suffered terribly, or completely died. Guess that's what happens when you aren't able to water from October to February... LOL Anyway, I've tried to snap a picture when something would actually bloom, so I'd have a few to share when I did get back here.
Can you believe I actually got an AV to bloom?? Here's AV Startrick
This is Phinaea albolineata 'Redencao'. It's an adorable, tiny little thing! It went dormant after blooming, but there are several lovely green rhizomes in the pot, so hopefully it will start growing again soon.
First time I've ever grown a Phinaea. I've meant to order Phinaea multiflora 'Tracery' seeds from the Ges Soc for ages, but just haven't gotten around to it. I know some of you have ordered seeds lately. Are they arriving pretty quickly or still taking a while?
Strep 'Handpainted' - First time it's ever bloomed. It's pretty. I like the yellow in the throat, and it is just a simple, clean-looking flower. Poor research on my part made me think it would be a yellow flower, though (actually the eBay picture showed a yellow flower, but I know better than to trust that), so I was a little disappointed because of that. :oP
Alright, here's the last one. I can't take up the whole thread all by myself. LOL I'm off to try to find the OT Blooms thread. I've got some Orchid pics, as well as a few miscellaneous others, I'd like to share. Big hugs to all, and I promise to be around more!
Codonatanthus 'Vista'
Edited to add: Ya gotta ignore the dog hair. I did manage to keep them alive to continue shedding all over creation! LOL

Welcome back Rain! So good to see you posting again and so good to hear that your DH is doing better! We sure have missed you and the photo's of your lovely blooms!
Hi Lin! I've sure missed you, too! Do you remember that speckle-flowered Phal Orchid you sent to me? It's blooming, and is just gorgeous! It's one of the Orchid pics I want to post! And somewhere, long ago, you asked what the small Dendrobium I sent you was, but I don't think I ever answered you. It's Dendrobium loddigesii. If you'll scroll down to April 8, 2008 10:42 PM in this thread http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/832364/ you'll see a couple pictures of it. It smells wonderful!
I'll be around more now, Gail! ^_^ Those Streps are beautiful! I hope you're planning on selling leaves again this year. There are several I'd love to replace. Strep 'Iced Wine' is beautiful! Do you still have 'Franken Copper Knob'? I think that was the name of it.
Great! I love it when people here on DG sell on the Marketplace. So much better than eBay!
