Well I do understand the 'no rental town' thing. I'm sure it preserves the spirit of the town. Sad for the rest of us!

She said yes? That's terrific, soferdig! I'm so glad you'll get to have dw with you this summer. she'll have a great time and you can use the feminine energy she will bring. :)

Kalispell, MT(Zone 4b)

Yes I am planning on taking up my knitting basket, romance novels, and my favorite chiffon dress. Now what shall I wear to dinner and how many accessories shall I take. LOL I always use my feminine energy. I chose the movie last night, my DW wanted to go to Slumdog...... and I chose "The Reader". When we got to the movie Slumdog had been going 20 minutes so I won. During much of and after the movie I cried, and had to stay through all of the credits and music. I talked all the way home about why things happened the way they did. I had to know what was in her mind. I am still shaken up. How sad! Oh she was hardly moved and only had a couple of tears.

She was holding the space for you sofer, so you could express your feminine. We always know that when our men are waxing emotional, we have to be solid for them. Otherwise they crumple. We provide the container for their emotional state. You both did your jobs well.
Now, I don't know about the knitting, romance novels, and chiffon dress. That's certainly 'girly', but I'm not sure what it has to do with the feminine. It just sounds to me like you're a bit 'confused'! LOL!

Please post a photo of you in the chiffon number while reading a romance novel.

Here's to a guy who even knows what chiffon is!

ROFLOL!! Definitely! I'm sure he would love just lovely in a pale periwinkle blue!

(Judi)Portland, OR

Just remember Sofer - whatever you post is out there for everyone to see...forever. You would never be allowed to serve your country in the military.

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

I want a 10 x 12 please. LOL

ROFLOL

Kalispell, MT(Zone 4b)

I am well aware of the powers of the internet. I have more warrior in me than anyone but two I know. If the military wanted the "Best" they already know that I would only wear camo chiffon. Though it is a problem getting under the barbed wire. But it does dry out rather rapidly. LOL

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

ROTFLOL.....

Eugene, OR

This is true. It does dry quickly.

Camo-chiffon for the Gentle Warrior.
Not recommended for Winter.

ROFLOL again!!!!

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

ROTFLMAO!!!!

(Judi)Portland, OR

If the dress has a full skirt it could double as a parachute if need be.

Kalispell, MT(Zone 4b)

I am no gentle warrior. All men have the inate ability to fight especially for the ground our family and our dreams live on. We were designed to do this and when not doing this to procreate. Todays man is so far away from the designed man we are confused and seeking our own reality. To ask our feminine side to comment it is unable. We can only seek the other person we honor to feed our desire to have a meaningful life. Our society has eliminated by laws and governments the need to be men. So off to wearing camo chiffon to have identity.

Eugene, OR

Whatever you said....I guess so. LOL

(Judi)Portland, OR

I think men are designed to protect and defend their loved ones but when you extend that to wars with other countries, it falls apart. The enemy is too far removed.
You might have trouble with the procreation part if you insist on wearing the chiffon.
Just out of curiosity, what laws have eliminated the need for men to be men?

Kalispell, MT(Zone 4b)

And you want men to understand women. This is the essence of men. You will have to forgive me I am listening to a lecture on quantum theories at the same time I am doing DG. I guess I got too deep. But I have spent much of my adult life figuring the above statement. I think I shall focus on "What the Bleep Do We Know". PJ you and your hubbie are what is being discussed. Who theorizes what we know about Quantum Mechanics. I shall leave.
The laws of civilization. Also note that I defined the nature of man to protect his family and dreams. Those are not in Vietnam, China etc.

What is it with dogs and snow? They have a great time rolling around in it. LOL

Kalispell, MT(Zone 4b)

I find it hard to believe we are at 55 F here and sunny. Where is the cold air coming from?

Sofer, don't stop with 'What the Bleep do We know'. That's just a movie intended to get people curious. Keep going and read some of the books written by actual physicists.
Also, while I do agree that men are programmed to protect home and hearth, I believe we are meant to evolve beyond the need for violence in order to do that. The 'warrior' is an archetype (present in both sexes) that has existed since man walked on earth, (and even before that) but it can take many forms, and in the end, rather than engage with and fight with darkness, we need to transform it. This is the essence of the feminine. (present in both men and women, again)
