Yes Shelly almost all of the snow is gone tonight. Really cold though, down to 28° already! BRRRRRR!!!!

No snow here last night. Mt Pisgah had a little dusting, didn’t last long after sun up. Now there is a prediction for freezing fog after midnight. Don’t think I’ve ever seen that one before.

Luck keeps all of us going at any given time. I swear that I'm going to be lucky if my hellebores bloom this year before turning to mush due to things like the snow this morning, 50 this afternoon (not complaining there), then 25 and maybe snow tonight. I already had one turn to mush and a few stems on another. But, so far the other stems are looking strong on that plant, so I remain hopeful that "luck" will happen soon!!

I hate February because of the slushy snow and MUD,MUD,MUD! We gravel the drive and it just sinks in the MUD!

l'm not all that fond of it either. lt warms up for a few days and everyone around here gets a little spoiled, then all of a sudden reality hits again, COLD TEMPS!!! YUCK!!! DH says, well we could move to Florida where it's warm all the time and I say, no way, they can have the hurricanes I'll stay here and live with the normal seasons thank you very much. But, Florida isn't warm all the time anymore anyway. They're having freezing temps too, so if you like oranges watch out for the prices in the supermarkets this summer!!!
Well, gotta go and get ready to go to town and do some grocery shopping speaking of supermarkets. I may not be on here till Mon, I'll post some pics of the new girls then.

Yah, I've found that you have to watch them real close on some items. That's where I'm headed after while. They don't open till 10:00 for businesses and 11:00 for the general public. I wish they would open sooner so I can go to town do my shopping and get home earlier. Oh well, that's life.

It is beautiful here in Bellevue this morning. Nice and warm 45F and spring is here. You must know that Bend is going to linger into winter to make your trees and plants beautiful in the fall.

It's 28 degrees here. By the way I tried that thing with numbers to get the degree sign. Didn't work on my laptop.

you might have to find the character map on your computer to figure out what the numbers are. The numbers on mine, are definitely different than many others.

Don't remember what the degree numbers are, but on my laptop I have to press fn and alt at the same time as the numbers. I only tried it because the the markings on fn and the number pads are all blue.^_^

I found a lost pic. This was taken on 12/21. I guess when I took the pic I forgot to put the card back in the camera, so was in the internal memory. Duh.

That's pretty cool! it looks sort of like a night vision picture!

I'm sure that your not the first, and definitely not the last, to misplace a picture on internal memory! especially becuase I'm somewhere in the bunch with you!!

The only reason I found it was because my DH said come look at this, I grab my camera, but at the time was downloading other pics and left the card in the puter. Then I had to find the cord to down load these. Too cute but will put them on the new tread. garden buddies.

Hey, whatever works. I've either been to work before it was light or I didn't feel like going outside to get anymore pictures of the snow stuff. I sort of got one today, but that's it. One snow pic in maybe 2 weeks. You can tell that it's lost it's charm.

Maybe we should stop giving Jack Frost anymore attention. He might just go away.

I think that is mother nature, and we have no control LOL

The less attention you give to Jack Frost the more he will pursue you. Lavish him with praise and affection and then dump him when he's not looking.

I'm not really mean - just speaking from experience. LOL And see - Mother Nature plays hard to get with her spring time until we are begging for her to arrive, and we are willing to give up all principle to have her warmth. Then she intoxicates us with her perfumes all summer and then ZAP she is gone and the lurker Jack Frost is back again to see if we are going to fall for him this time.

Put them in a acage together and see who wins.
