Stir crazy, part 2

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

LOL pirl, that's a good positive way to look at it!

Picked up 2 flats of mostly annuals for some of my pots and to freshen two large pots I do at a hair salon. It rained all morning but the sun is just now coming out so I think I'll head over to the salon and plant those.

Color! It's so great to see color. We look at the windows and see white on white.

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

I see a bit of gray mixed with the white on white. Sue, your colors are eye refreshing. Thank you from the snow bitten east.

The scarecrow is the most colorful thing out there!

We went to a Jeep & Truck show on Sat. and my DH was nice enough afterwards to take me by at a favorite nursery to look around, he stayed in the car reading though, good enough for me. We then drove another 10 min. and had a nice walk on the beach, did some shell & rock collecting for adding to some potted plants. Son & daughter-in-law joined us for dinner on a beach side restaurant and we then walked for an hour around 9PM on the beach, the town lights were just enough to light the way. Perfect weather, just a bit of clouds from an approaching storm.

Low tide so we explored the exposed pools.

Then we climbed the cliff overlooking the beach as the sun was setting. A group of young people brought out sparklers, it was a pretty sight the darker it got.

Great pictures, Sue! I love the coast line pictures. And it sounds like you had a great day Saturday.

Sue-
Sounds like you had a wonderful day on Saturday. Your pix are beautiful. We don't get to see sites like that in WI.

Beautiful photos, Sue. Love those seashells.

Sebastopol, CA(Zone 9a)

Great photos, Sue, and what a cute picture of you! So hard to believe you're a grandmother.

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

Knock on my door early in the morning, or late at night! Cute doesn't fit then LOL!

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

You can't possibly be a grandmother!

Show Polly the evidence, Sue.

Polly, it's a case of a child bride having a daughter who's later also a child bride.

LOL, OK, first this is one of my favorite pictures of my kids, my son, who is now 24, got married last May and my daughter is 29.

What a great day Sue
I always wanted to live near the ocean.
I was a bride at 19 and a mother at 20,21,23 ,24.
Thats enough said about that.

Tomah, WI

Such a beautiful family, Sue!

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Great family photos, Sue.

Bride at 18, mother at 21 and 26, grandma at 39, well 2 weeks from 40 actually.

Great family, Sue!

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Bride at 19, mother at 20 ( nine months two weeks later, great honeymoon). Grandmother not until 49, after dental school.

Where did you get those pictures Sue? And who are they of? Can't be yours.

Seriously, great looking family. Your son is very handsome, and your daughter is lovely, and looks like you. Your granchildren are just gorgeous kids, and very happy looking. They are lucky to have such a young gramma. The concept of a grey haired gramma in a rocking chair is out, nowadays.

Both my parents were in their early 40s when I was born, and they were the babies of theri families, and both born when their parents were in their 40s, so I never knew either gramma, and only one grampa around until he died when I was four. I certainly hope to live to see the great granchildren.

Hey! I have gray hair! And I'm not a grandma! I went prematurely gray and continue to wear it this way.

Well, I look a lot older than 10 years ago when my grandson was born. Menopause accompanied by weight gain and the past 2 1/2 years of grief takes a toll. I don't like my picture taken anymore.

This is me with the kids a month ago, we were going into the SF Aquarium, otherwise I am always behind the camera. Don't show this to anyone else, just between us gals OK? LOL

Sue, I see you all the time and I can tell everyone without any hesitation that you're better looking in person than in both of those photos, even the one taken 10 years ago. You're just a real cutie! Grief and all.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

She can't be much better looking in person! Sue, I think you're lovely. You remind me of a friend of mine, Marie, the same type of hair, everything. And many people were very jealous of Maries looks, where I used to work. Silly of course, as she is such a nice person, can't help how she was born. And I don't think you're much different in the now pic, or 10 years ago.

Mamasita, I developed grey hair when I was pregnant. It was right on top, mostly. But I dye it, otherwise I would look like a skunk.

Calvert City, KY(Zone 7a)

Sue you are lovely, and look very much like you could be the mother of those little gorgeous ones, too.
