Look what I found open this morning!

Im here but not quite awake.. Max was up and down all night last night with his tooth so of course Bella was too right along side of us.. O th ejoys of having a puppy in the house..lol

Would you believe the dentist from the emergency clinic called me last night from his personal cell and is going to open up today after church to take care of Max. Even better he accepts our insurance so it shouldnt run anymore than aregular visit! Love this man he is saving Max.. His boss calle dthis morning at 530 wanting to know if he was able to come in today.. Had to tell him no and Max was mad its the first day he has missed in 6 months..

Still working on the house issue and getting everything finished up and ready for sale of some sort.. Donna V is helping with getting my gardenia forest thinned and from there I will start fresh.. The mortgage company is really making me crazy.. Apparently now they paid the house taxes and have added a escrow t opay for what they just did and next year.. GGGRRRR Something better for us I suppose but now I need to add that to what we are already figuring.

Did finish up one project for a friend last night while Max was passed out on pain killers.. She is opening up a craft store with her jell candles and I make her display boards and hanging items for her.. She set up in a huge craft mall that is having its grand opening next weekend.. She is going to set a few cards out for me for custom painting in er booth for me helping her out.. The sign I did was payment for a diamond plate truck box so we had a secure place to keep the few descent tools we have..

I know I missed alot and Im sorry just been crazy scatterbrained and lost lately..

Well didn't get a steak dinner as a matter of fact I didn't get anything :( Rick went shopping Friday and all he bought was fishing stuff. Well I won't be cooking his dinner for a few weeks, lol yep he blew it BIG time!!!!!!!!!!!!

OO the towel Cake was a huge sucess at the wedding yesterday.. Mother of the groom told me everyone was asking who made it.. She said she told them her neighbor and I could do one for anyone who wanted one.. Gotta love my nieghbor she is always tryng to help keep me busy.> I have to head over today too. She says she has a refridgerater full of food she need to find a home for and she is sending it here.. Love my nieghbor..

Donna, I have used etsy to but things. The peeps are real prompt about sending. You will probably do better there than the marketplace. I have candles there and they haven't sold. What are you thinking of selling???

Donna-I am glad that people are trying to help you earn some $$. If you could get a little business running and get a tax ID #, then you could tell that mean guy that you do have a job-you are self employed and the tax ID makes it official:)

I think I have a recipe for Red Lobsters Biscuits-will have to see if I can dig it up:) What I'd REALLY love is the Coronal's recipe for chicken!!!

I enjoyed my day yesterday-got some projects done so as all they need is a urethane coat and voila-ready:)

OY VAY Kimmy!! THat is quite a a picture!! I am enjoying my time off so far, it has been nice to not be sick to my stomach all the time and crying and sad-I feel chipper almost every day!!

I need help-Darlene (Darlinmoma) sent me some really cute material that I want to use to make a rag lap quilt with-it will be my first-figure I could have it all cut and ready to just sew and take to mom's one day, and get it done:) I have attached the material. I have about 1 yd each of the light purple and green and about 1.5 yds of the dark purple....so I need instructions on cutting and how much I will need and such-planned to go wait for a sale and go get some complimentary fabrics....

On the etsy I was thinking taking orders for towel cakes, Puppy knot kennel liners, flece puppy toys, paintings. ummm anyhing I can come up with..

Whats funny is that I have my nursery business liscense already and he wuldnt accept that because it didnt create enough money.. But its a job.. Grrrrr Im liscensed through the state and he still thinks I need a REAL job.

So, if you were microwaving burgers at McD's, he would accept that?? I can see why he wouldn't for the nursery as it isn't something you are currently doing. But if you had a business license for something that you were actively doing, then I don't see how he could deny that....

Yeah retty much.> He said I need to go get a 12k a year job.. BUt Max already makes to much money for qualifying so even if I did go to bk and get a job we still wouldnt qualify..

Th enursery I am active in.. Thats what I dont get its just the time of year that most of my sales are non existant.. I do wholesale sales and most of them go north and since as you all know its cold ost places are not buying yet.. Makes me crazy..

Yesterday was busy, busy, busy... and then last night I sat down with Mike to watch a couple movies... Don doesn't sit down and watch movies with me, so I'm really enjoying this.
Today, I'm taking Mike to a Mall in Dallas for a little shopping. He tells me they don't have Malls in Austria... just shopping centers... so, he's really looking forward to that. My granddaughter was suppose to go with us today, but she hasn't called to let us know for sure... so, with or without her, Mike wants to go. Think I'll take him out to eat at Joe's Crab Shack for dinner after the Mall...

So, I'll be MIA again today... Ya'll have a great day, ya hear?

That will be a nice outing BJ. Joe's Crab Shack will be an experience! Yum!

well I am depressed today....went in the back room where I have my seeds started for the veggies and almost all of them are dead and gone. stinks can't have the grow lights on with the son in law to be staying back there and never know when he will be in form a job or go out on one.
so now I have moved everything except for my plumerias to the green house outside and just hope a few things will make it and will not start any more seeds just wait til I get a tiller to work the garden area up and go buy plants as I can

just feel really dumb too as there are so many things starting outside and I still have so much to learn as to what are weeds in taxes versus weeds in Illinois ...LOL and what the different plants I have look like as small starts ...LOL

I know DH would help but he doesn't pay attention like he should when I explain and show up what to pull and what to leave ..oh well will check in later have weeding to try and do so I can be on top of it maybe so things look good come sept and shelly's wedding

Yes, Audrey, I posted a picture on the Fat Quarters thread when I got them. And yes, in fact I am using the yellow daffodill and the light green for the Think Spring quilt block. I may be sending the frog one to Stacey as she collects frogs, but then again, I may just keep it for myself.

Before cutting, I always pre wash and press my fabrics, but if you're using flannel, maybe BJ can help you. And as for cutting, you need a rotary cutter, an Olipfa acrylic ruler and a cutting mat. AND if you're prone to being clumsy like your uncle Kel, get you some safety gloves.

Donna, you are so blessed to have a neighbour and a good girl friend that's willing to do anything for you. In fact all of us are blessed to have each other.

Sweetheart, I know how you feel. Think I lost ALL my brugmansias outside due to the unexpected 2 day snow followed by hard freeze. The cuttings in the house didn't fare well except for a few. BUT, they are plants.. and we can always start over.
I'm still learning how to adapt to this clayey soil... the pine trees... (their pollen)..and of course the weeds. I can't do much with them as I can't bend, and don't believe in poison. So, I try to 'cram' the gardening space .. and maybe none pays attention to the weeds!!! Lol!!!
Sistah Phyllis, focus on good things.. like we're lucky at least we can buy plants and not be like our old great grandmas that have to sow them ;) OR not garden at all and just craft!!

Stacey, if you have a carpenter's aluminum ruler, or even the edge of a plastic box lid with the measurements marked, that will do to to mark your fabric!
About 30 years ago, I used a heavy duty box cutter and a 'set square' architect's ruler!! When there's a will there's a way ;)

That's a very good dentist Max has, usually if they go in for a special appt on a weekend or whatever they'll charge up the nose for emergency services. What was wrong with his tooth?

I love the Amazing Race, I thought the cheese was hilarious! I'm glad the couple who was last, was last. If they had one more b*^%#$@ woman on this season I wasn't going to watch it, I just can't handle that! I'm rooting for the flight attendants.

What a cute puppy!!

I had a good Valentines Day too! We burnt the candle at both ends though lol! I got a very nice card and a box of chocolates. We went out Friday night just to get out of the house, had a great time. Went out Saturday night and my friend who is a bartender was mixing my alcohol and I can't do that, I was sick all day today and I was so mad at myself because it was gorgeous outside today, a little cold but gorgeous! I didn't start feeling better until about 4pm. Oh well, it made me keep my rear home instead of shopping for nothing, plus I watched the Daytona 500! NASCAR season is back! Woo Hoo!!!

Hi all....been a loooong day.....started out on our bike ride but only made about ten miles due to rain and cold......Hot mocha at Starbucks instead.......went by and looked at the place Laura and Sean are moving to, gave Bill a hair cut, picked up Laura and did some shopping for mom....then we installed DVD in the work room for mom and made her DVD of all the sample cards I have taken pictures of at various shops so she has examples to follow. Then Bill, Laura, Sage and I went for Pizza so Sage could show her dad the new necklace she got with her grandmother today......that was my day from 10 am to almost 10 pm

Mom is doing great!!!! She is back working on cards, getting around the house without the walker and off of most of her pain meds.....she is one happy lady...will be back driving in a few days!!

Missed you all today....hopefully I can catch up tomorrow..... Night everyone......
