Which do you own or use??

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

No, I meant a personal blog on a blogging site.

Never thought Stern was funny. He is the Starbucks of DJs (I don't get the success of either)

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

well when howard was on it was very late - maybe 6 cups

no i would have laughed at the red headed kid anyway

what about Imus? the cardinal returned this week

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

I used to love Imus, but I thought he was getting stale before his Rutgers comment. I tried him on his new station but I was kinda bored.

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

I think they need to round up Rosie O'Donnell, Whoopi, Joy Behar, Baba Wawa and Howard Stern, Keith Olberman, and Bill Maher and transport them into a galaxy far far away. Verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry far away.

With enough expeditions filled with celebrities, we could bring the country back to some semblance of normalcy.

Throw Roseanne Barr in that spaceship also.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Imus was horrible too. These days he seems like he's on serious downers.

Mona in Metcalfe, ON(Zone 5a)

lol maybe needs a vacation in the sun

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

So Mike, do you watch "The View" often? ^_^

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

lol.... that's what I was wondering.

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

No. I only see it when they have it on in our office or it appears on the internet news for some feud those women are having amongst themselves.

What is an mp3 player? That shows how techie I am.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

It's a digital music player. Mp3 is a 'compressed' version of regular 'wave' digital files found on cd's.

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

South Hamilton, MA

Oh help. Will stick to my regular CD player. I usually have the Boston classical station running for 'noise' in the house.

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Iris, your have to get an mp3 player to wear while gardening. Then you can suddenly break into dance among the plants...and your neighbors will really want to commit you ^_^

Moscow, ID(Zone 5a)

It does seem to make any weeding go quickly.

South Hamilton, MA

My neighbors can't see me, ha ha I hum Gilbert & Sullivan inside my head & say nasty things to weeds which shoot their seeds.

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

Here's the extent of my tech usage and capability:

Cell phone: Yes ... but only because my boss pays for it and I have to have it for work. I only know how to answer and make calls on it. Period.

As for the rest: NO to all

You can't get any less high tech than me.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Not even high-speed internet, Mike? Mp3??

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

My nearly 94 year old mom has a cell, which she loves and a computer which she is has not mastered completely, but she is currently taking a course so she will get better on it. She uses GPS and has broadband. She does not text yet, as she needs a new cell phone, but I am sure she will. She is happy with her digital camera too. Loves being able to go to the drug store to edit and print out the pictures she wants herself. But the one thing she hates that is newish, is having to pump her own gas. She would change her own tire if she had to, but would drive a long way to a full service station. Here she is at Christmas in New Orleans. She still travels all the time. Patti

Your mom is awesome! Good for her!!! You go girl!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

my mom is 72 and she is a texting queen... we have a family plan on our cell phones.. i had to change her plan because she went over the 500 limit... IN TWO WEEKS... LOL

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Cool!

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

onewish1, that is sort of what I am afraid my mom would do with texting, if she got a new phone. She can type wicked fast and would love knowing she could be in touch constantly. I hope she doesn't learn about twitter. Patti

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

These seniors rock! My parents have no interest in any of that. My mom has a cell - but really only for emergencies.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

my dad just got one because my mom forced him last year... he hates the thing.... but he is 73 and walks the dogs for hours on end... she gets nervous when he is gone too long.. esp when it's icy

my friends mom once commented that our 1/2 poodle 1/2 schnauzer died so young because she had such high millage from him... I always hear people telling me how they saw him two towns over and can't believe he walks that far

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

Patti - you come from good stock - great that she is still so active and taking courses.

My mother can work a tv remote - that's it. My father just got a cell phone. A computer is completely foriegn to them both.

My wifes parents on the other hand are fully engaged with technolgy. Only wish they would stop sending me the same jokes again, and again, and again.................................................

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

oh joy

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Wha, too funny, maybe it is on purpose, or is it a memory thing? The biggest transition for my mother on her computer is that she types away and then does not hit "enter" and wonders why nothing happens. I should get her a voice activated one. But she is getting it. She likes to read the little newspaper from Canada where she goes in the summer. I wish my mother had an interest in plants. She likes the plastic ones! Patti

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

I know alot of seniors that are very techie. My folks are not. They find the answering machine a task. ps I don't have an mp3player thingy and I break out into spontaneous dancing all the time.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

imagine how much dancing would be done if you did have one

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

I'm not sure that Anne my 93 neighbour can handle much more. For Gopher Day this year I was dancing with a dusty blue shawl over my head (my cloudsuit for the celebration) and scared the crap out of Anne. She thought it was funny afterward though.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

LOL... you are too much

I can hardley get the surround sound to work for the TV. The son had to write down in 2 easy steps. DH dont even have a clue how to get it going. It was so pitiful I did not turn it on for a whole year - I had to ask DUHHH

Essex Junction, VT(Zone 4a)

This is all a lot of fun to read!

I just joined twitter. Turns out the Birds of Vermont Museum is on there. And if following John Cleese brings about a few laughs every now and then, then it'll all be worth it!

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

Dahlia.... more folks should just start dancing spontaneously! then the neighbors wouldn't think that it was so weird.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

either that or they can ask you to share what ever it is your taking:)
