The Go-Go's were my favorite broadband. ^_^ (Just kidding, ladies!)
Well, Victor, I just read your last post to my husband and son, and they loved it!
Hee hee. We stick together!
cell phone (emergencies) if we can remember to carry it with us. FIOS (TV, computer, phone) radio AM &FM. CD player. Green Bay Packer kitchen clock which runs on batteries. phonograph so can play my older stuff, VCR so can play my older stuff, DVD player not hooked up since neither TV has a place to connect it. Car radio-car driven by DH.
The tv (unless it's very old) should have 'rca' jacks - red and white for audio and yellow for video - that the dvd player can connect to.

High speed internet - cable, dsl or FIOS.
Nothing in particular, as long as it's upbeat. Shakira's hips don't lie is a good one. I always put the speed up when that comes on.
ohhh...I have that!!
I love Shakira's hips!
Well if Shakira's hips indirectly improve my hips I'll let that comment slide Victor ^_^

The way Facebook works: When you join Facebook you enter your info that you want and it brings up people from your area, your college, high school, church or hometown that you might know or want to be friends with. If you don't enter the above info then it won't bring up those groups of people. You can view who is a member of Facebook but absolutely no info about them until you confirm them as friends. If you know someone and want contact with them, you confirm them as friends and you can view their info and they yours. If you don't want them as friends they can not see your info. You can also privately contact people, as subscribers do on DG with d-mail. The people I'm friends with know everything that's in my info anyway. The only friends I've confirmed are my DD, church members and my college roommate. Hope this helps to clear up what Facebook is. It's a choice people make - join if you want and don't if you don't want to. It's just another method of communication. Eleanor
i understand how facebook works - bad attempt at humor i guess
Now I know what happens to Bill after four cups...
that's pretty good victor
the link below says it all.

I have high speed internet and I did have a 'murder' phone but it was analog so it was cut off in October. I guess I'm just a private person. I promise to learn how to use all those things when my plants do. I'm on the same page as YankeeCat though, I have a high-tech bread machine too ^_^
If someone wants me bad enough they will pick up the phone or come see me, (other than here). I dont want none of that unso personal wasting time and apt to get carpule tunnel syndrom texting cell phone poo. You get myspace or whatever, anyone can put anything on it that they want and make you belive it. Someone wants to know me simply come see me or a phone call will make do.
Everyone is sooooo addicted to it. What are you going to do if all the satalites and business go out of business? Same with a comp but double or triple the loss.
I will stick with bascics - my direct phone and computer.
I like the instant messaging (MSN) because it saves a fortune in long distance phone bills. I can talk to friends out west, in New Zealand and in Hawaii and it doesn't cost a dime...and believe me, we talk a lot!!
play with plants!
3G - check out skype.com
I checked them out, but Messenger does all of the same things and we can all even conference! We're all on the computer at roughly the same times anyways and they're phones are busy...kids, hubbys, etc.
Imagine if the Unabomber was around today! He was upset with technology of the 70's and 80's.
