What have you ordered for spring 2009 - Part III

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Whoa, Karen! And one of each?!!

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Yes, one of each, and I'm hoping to get a lot of cuttings out of them once they get started. I also plan to winter over the mother plants and make cuttings next spring.

nice!.... I have to be careful with mine... no drainage in there

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

none in mine either but I will fill the planter with stones or sand and I plan to use a pot for the plant thats bigger in diameter than the mouth of the planter it's going into.
Hope this works.
I just cant bring myself to drill out the bottom.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

me either... I figured I would spaz out and crack the pot in half

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I used to have a diamond drill bit but everything was diz-comm-bobulated when we moved 2 years ago.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I never saw the answer on the coleus thread. When do we have to place the order by???

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I wasnt sure but there was a warning that the co-op was going to end, didnt say when.
There were over 75 when I read the post, sorry I didnt notice which thread.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

I wanted to get mine in early... so hopefully they won't run out

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Allison, I'm getting Thumbelina, too. I thought it was too cute. That pot you're getting is cute, too. Great pot for that!

Victor, I didn't notice when the co-op would end, either. I don't think Debbie posted an end date for it.

I added more to my Rosy Dawn order today for a friend who is paying for them. She was drooling over them as much as I was. She kept saying she didn't know where she was going to put them all. I told her I didn't know where I was putting all mine, either, but I'm sure I can find homes for them. I will have to get a lot of pots, though some will go straight into the garden.

Manana.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

NFD... I got that pot last year... tried putting dill in it... no good... then I kept sticking pieces of moss rose in it off another plant... that did better.. but too wet for them maybe

Thomaston, CT

Ended up buying some seeds today---more dill---never too much----hollyhock Nigra, cosmos Seashells & Double Click ---all those can be direct sown, & a flat, purple bush bean. Am still looking for red bulbing onions--they were a good crop last year.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Well, I just ended up buying more seeds. I found a place on-line that sells Ferry-Morse seeds for 50% off. These are the same seeds found at Lowe's. Here's the link: http://www.gardenersnet.com/ferrymorseseeds.htm

Here is what I ordered tonight:

Achillia 'Summer Pastels'
Cupid's Dart Blue
Coreopsis 'Plains Bicolor'
Delphinium 'Magic Fountains Mixed Colors'
Cosmos 'Bright Lights Mixed Colors'
Gourds, Ornamental Mixture
Helichrysum - Strawflower Mixed Colors
Love In A Mist, 'Persian Jewels Mixed Colors'
Texas Bluebonnet
Tidy Tips

edit -- by the way Michele was coming over to help me with these... guess I am going in alone... only 1600 of them
