Becky, no the brown flower is not mine.
The name is QX 526 the owner is the university of Kyushu.
But there is an anecdote about this flower, Miss Nita Ban has got from the court an " forbidding " to sell this cultivar .
Perhaps we must wait 20 years before to see such a seeds .

Someone has more information over the copyright (c) of vegetable in Japan
I suppose it's international laws .
For example a Roses multiplication can be made by everyone after X years of copyright if she has been registerted .

Dany - Oh my! Aren't those beautiful! Kind of a bummer we can't get our hands on seeds for those hybrids/cultivars of the brown bloom MGs! They are just gorgeous! :-) I'm still waiting for a yellow blooming I. nil to be released to the public. I know the Japanese have one and are keeping it under wraps! (sigh)

hi dany i have tried to order through the japanese yahoo auction site... i can get most things sent to the uk except for seeds and plants :-( they refuse to send them...

I think it is only good if it is on the japanese version , I'll try the week-end .

To send a message to the seller genki , Beetle_2000 or Sensaku2000 in english I think it's possible , he can use the translater .
We can use Google translater to edit a letter in Japanese .
Using the phonetic langage ( as we have seen in the Dee's thread )is only good for people who understand japanese speaking and can't read japanese.

Have you see the prices . Ipomoea Purpurea is more expensive than Nil.

To pay they don't use Paypal snif....

My question is : messages in English ?

I've made a little experience :
I give to Google translater a sentence in english 10 or 20 words, I ask him to translate in Japanese then I make a copy and I ask Yahoo translater to translate the sentence .
Result : it work , it make sens and it not only poetry.

The sentence must use simple words and be direct. We can change some words or put synonyms.
