New thread! We came from here: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/933066/
Lingernot is a long distant cousin to Staynot. Staynot is currently away and can't be found at the current time. Lingernot has volunteered to fill in until Staynot returns.
You keep it for one week.
Must take a picture of the Gnome in your garden.
Write your location at the bottom of his pedestal.
Post pictures and send the little guy to the next person.
Keep in mind we should keep all addresses off of this forum and just between the person who has it and the person who needs it.
ps. Lingernot likes Tropicals and other Gnomes...

Well when I got home, there was Lingernot, sleeping peacefully in his blankie.
"WAKE UP!" I said, "You can't be lazy on the farm you know!"
Lingernot jumped to attention...."Yes Ma'am," he said, "where do we begin?"

Lingernot/Staynot Gladomeer ۞in Iowa! (#10)
"Ummmmm Claire, did you notice that chickens poop on the wall sometimes? Isn't that kind of disgusting?" Lingernot asked.
"Well Lingernot," I explained, "sometimes it's hard to keep everything clean all the time on the farm. We clean the coop walls about every 3 months. In the winter, it isn't as bad because it's so cold, it doesn't smell!"
"Oh look" said Lingernot, "I have another friend!"
Lingernot was getting a little chilly by then, so I said we should go inside and check on the baby chicks. He was pretty excited about that idea.
I told him that the first thing we needed to do was to check the incubator to see how many hatched while I was at work (and while he was napping).
"Oh my goodness" he said. "This is a whole new thing for me!"
Finally, we went to close the silkie coop. I think you can see from this picture, Lingernot is just completely overwhelmed with all the chicken activity. He tried valiantly to stay awake, but he just couldn't manage. It was a lot of work for a small gnome. He'll be up and at it tomorrow though. In the meantime, wish him sweet dreams!
The chicks are adorable CMoxon! I don't think I have ever seen an incubator. I was raised on a farm off and on and played around the hen house but they were on their own there. Some of the chickens were really eyeballing him when he was on their roost. I think he was in someone's spot!
Nite Lingernot....looks like you are in for some down on the farm fun there.
Sweet dreams, Lingernot! Wow Claire, you've got quite a little helper there! I loved the pics, and can't wait to see what's in store for him tomorrow :-).
Oh Lingernot, How lucky for you to be amongst those adorable chicks. I bet you just wanted to cuddle!
Lucky, lucky Lingernot. Gets to hang out with a burple of baby chicks. OMG I never thought about the axe! Good call Claire to explain that. That's an awesome pic of the 2 hens looking down from the roost at Lingernot on the perch below thinkin "We can take him. One false move with the axe little friend and you're scritch" although of course valient Lingernot would never, ever consider that. Lingernot must be exhausted from his travels and all his new chores to help out on the farm. I'm soooo looking forward to tomorrow's adventures.
How exciting that our little gnome got to spend so much time with the chickens and I'm sure they thought he was special. Loved the baby chicks, didn't grow up on farm so missed out on so much. I'm getting an education along with Lingernot, pretty cool.
Not only you Pegi!! This is Poultry 101 for me too, via Lingernot! This may sound stupid but, I've never seen chickens in snow!!
My grandma raised them back in sunny, tropical Singapore. Always thought they're not for colder climates.. duuuuh.
Lingernot, be careful with that hatchet around the babies now. Don't want to give them any nightmares.
I am jealous that Lingernot got to see all Claires animals and drive the tractor!!
Those are some beautiful chickens. I love the light brahma. I am sure Lingernot had a wonderful time!!! He seems to have learned a lot!
He sure lilkes your chickens. I remember gathering eggs when young and it was sure a lot of fun. You have a great time Lingernot and pet all the animals for me.
Claire the baby chicks are adorable. I loooooooooooooovvvvvvvvvve baby chicks. I would love to have some but fear I would be able to take care of them now. Maybe Lingernot could come live with me and take care of the chickens.
Well, Lingernot was up and ready this morning. He was so excited about what we would be doing today. I told him we'd visit the chickens again, and then it was time to feed the goats.
"Wow," he said, "I never met an Iowa goat before."
Here he is having a chat with Lotus - she is a Nigerian Dwarf goat.
Lucky little gnome got to play with the goats, and what adorable ones too. I would have enjoyed spending the day with him and his new friends. I would have loved to have my boys spend some time on a farm when they were young, maybe they would have learned it isn't easy work.
Lingernot!! Look at you! Riding a goat!! How fun. Such curious little goats, you are being very brave with all the new experiences. I'm so proud of you! You be sure to tell Claire how kind it is of her to take time from her busy farm life to have you as a visitor. Help her out all you can.
Lovely chickens, I don't think I've ever seen such a beautiful variety. Never had goats, but I have been around chickens and boy have things changed! An incubator, imagine that.
Have fun little friend! More adventures are in store I'm sure.
Wow the goats sure liked meeting Lingernot! I didn't know goats were so curious.
Isnt that their middle name??? hehehe
Sweet pics of the goats! He brought good wishes to Stuffin too that her baby will be healthy.
Lingernot I am so glad you got to meet the pretty little goats. It was nice of Claire to post the pics for me to see since I didn't find a box to mail myself with you.
I'm loving the chicken and goat photos!
