Good Morning...and yes, I do mean GOOD!

I am so happy to tell you that at his 6:00 x-ray last night, Kyle Jacob's lung was fully inflated. So he should start gaining strength now and could possibly come home with his mama. They were trying to feed him a little breast milk last night, but all he wanted to do was sleep. He has had a tough start, but last night after the x-ray, he finally got to be held for the first time. So hopefully it will all be cake from now on!

I don't have any new pictures, as he is in a room in NICU and they don't allow flashes. They had it pretty dark in the room. They are all double rooms and we were told that they were full-up with 2 in every room. There were no other parents or grandparents with the other little boy while we were there and they had his incubator all covered up, but a took a peek at the card on the little boy and it said his weight was 3 pounds and half an oz. :o( Hope he makes it. I watched his monitor for a while and it seemed to be steady.

It's a glorious looking day here this morning. I absolutely HAVE to go fill the feeders.

We're babysitting, make that kittysitting, for Bill's dad's kitten. She is a cutie and I'll try to get some pictures of her here in a second. She is REALLY unsure about all of our other critters and she growls constantly. They are keeping their distance from her because of the growls, except for Cayenne. She wants to be friends and SarahP is having none of it.

I slept in until 8:00 this morning. I didn't even hear Bill and Cayenne get up. Felt good.

I never catch up.. so I post when I can and read what I can.... Kim and I are having a blast... We are just chilling... Marion you are not a heel things happen for a reason... We may have someone else coming this coming week... time will tell... My body feels much better today... yeah.... We miss you all and wish you all were here... Also wanted to say Fairy... Things will get better and every new day is a beginning ... We turn a page every day.... We love you here and wish you could have come here with Kimmy.... We are now playing Guitar Hero.... Be back in a few....

Hey now no one is making Kimmy leave early....LOLOL I am only joking... I wish we all lived closer to each other... Then we could have one big pajama party... Think of it all of us together... WOW... One year when I first got my computer I went to a menopause group and after a year and a half we all flew to Reno and met each other... Can you see it 10 of us all in menapause...LOLOL We had a ball and we could all save up as we knew when we were going to meet... Hubby said honey what do you want for our anniversary??? I said a ticket to Reno.. He said I think we could do that... I said is no He/We in ticket only She/Me...LOLOLO No hubby's were allowed.... He was fine and we did have a blast...
OK Kimmy is in the shower and I am next... can you smell me there..???? Oh I did not crack my shell when I fell but Kimmy did bring me some new turtles and one is a girl for sure as she has a wavy shell at the bottom... so my turtles from Hawaii now have a girlfriend.... wooooh hooooooooo.

if we all lived closer together our DH's would probably disown us all ....they would have to learn to take care of themselves totally as we would never be at our own home long enough ...hahahahahaha

And you've just reminded me that I need a thermostat. Bought 2 heat mats last year, about 33" X 18" each, for only under $20, but Kel straight wired to an oven thermostat and it cooked the seedlings when I failed to watch it one day :( Shouldn't have listened to him!!

I used to have a desert tortoise named Timmy. He was way cool. We gave him to our friends when we moved, he's doing very well.

I woke up at 4am with big time abdominal cramps and I've been going every 10 minutes since, thank God! I was worried that some scar tissue from the surgery was blocking intestine, but apparently not lol!

Oh I love your turtle.. We get box turtles here and I may this year keep a few with a set up for them to live... They dig underground for winter... I have to say I don't know what was wrong with Kyle, but when I say my prayers at night I always include you ladies and family's in them. So I am happy Kyle is doing better...

If I knew you were new at Scrapbooking I would have included some magazines for ideas. I have several left here but have given a lot to the teachers at the local school.

The Mulberry paper that is in there is used by tearing and wetting the edges to get a feathered look. There's a ton of stickers, some buttons, beads, some string (I missed some when shipping so not so much in the box. Sorry.) You will find 12x12 paper and maybe some other things. I'm not sure exactly everything in the box. I still have a lot but need to wait until it gets warm enough to spend quality in the bonus room. No heat or air. Just a gigantic room for storage.

You will need to buy Acid free glue, but other than that all you need are pics and book to get started.

I wanna know, too! BTW, I LOVE fried rabbit AND USA frog leggs! Did you know that they'll jump hours after they're dead? Put salt on them and watch them! They'll almost jump out of the skillet!
Another BTW! An excellent from scratch receipe for chocolate cake is on the Hershey's cocoa box. I made one for a bake sale when I worked at the bank, and it brought $15.00! That was in the late '70's!
Still another BTW!!! There are electrical power trucks all over Dyersburg at night! They have to come over here to get rooms to sleep! AND, everyone from the Bootheel comes here to shop and do laundry! This town is swingin'!!

Morning Cody. I am not much into the Super Bowl game either. Just isn't the same with out hubby. Might spend some time with my sewing machine.

My Kim isn't any better and I am thinking work will be out of the question tomorrow--subs or not subs. Can't teach with no voice and a fever. She is confined to her area and I set her bowl of chicken soup outside the door. Nope don't want what she has for sure!!!

Sounds lik eSuperBowl Sunday is underway around the board today.. Mom showed up right at 9 movies in hand smiling from ear to ear.. Tristen bounced out ripped her present (Tinkerbell dvd) and card open wihout delay and my mom handed Tony Open Season 2 and said it was for both of them..
We hung out, watched the movies (mostly the kids but we watched alittle), mom trimmed my hair and I did hers for the first time...lol Both us us complaining about how my sister always takes too much off.. Mom ordered pizzas and I think she cracked her first Bud Light at about 11 and it was the only one cold so I threw a few in too cool and filed her taxes.. Busy Day but it was alot of fun.. Max hid most of teh day workng on his Ham Radio projects so hes happy as a clam too.. Not really into the game but will be watching Whiskey Sour in hand...

Flaming Kim, for your sake I hope the whole house is rooting for Steelers!! We sure don't want to read of you going in flames!!!!!
