Thanks
Friends we've made by garden chatter
Oh my gosh, they are so very beautiful, JoAnn! And thank you for taking the time to post some of them here for us to enjoy. The orchids are lovely, as are all the others! What do you prefer to paint - ie, florals, landscapes - or just anything that catches your attention?
You are brightening up this very cold day!
Very lovely.
Peonies are one of my very favorite flowers. I love the composition and subtle transitioning to the dusky lavender of the outermost petals.
pirl....has Jack grown Ester Hess Yellow Cherry tomatoes? It is slightly larger than Sungold. A little tart with an old time tomato taste. Been the most productive and disease resistent tomato across the Sound from you two years running.
I've never even heard of them before this. We're big time 'Sweet 100' fans and have tried 'Sweet One Million' and after one taste knew we shouldn't have wasted the space. If I see Ester Hess locally I'd buy one for the herb garden so we could still grow our favorites by the garage where I can get to them even if it's raining.
I really love your paintings, JoAnn, especially the one with the Helleborus.
Thanks ZuZu
RedChick from Northeast Garden Forum took the picture.
Her photos are great as are the ones by Victor.I think they contribute to photo forum.
Absolutely beautiful!
Wow! That's much larger than I'd have guessed.
...and we have the same mugs! We use them for saving coins.
This was my grandmothers mug.
After my grandfather dies her life became reallly simple, she was 80+ and she had tomato soup in that mug every day ,a cheese sandwich too.
sweeet
My son was scratching off a losing lottery ticket while my grandson and daughter watched.
Very sweet, and such a cool sweater.
My grandson goes to a local school two mornings a week and that's where my daughter made a friend of another child's mother. Happily for my daughter and I the new friend loves gardening so she'll be getting many daylilies from me this year. Anything either of them get in excess is shared - a really nice thing for both of them.
Your grandson is so cute, and I love the stickers on his head.
He put stickers on my son's head as well but the rest of us were spared.
I'm usually covered with stickers by the time Jenna goes home. Fairies. One time she had some tatoos that did not come off well. I scrubbed my arms for days.
The mauve within the iris and then in the top section and under the right petal is so interesting. Reminds me of color harmonies.
I like the piece better since I made it smaller.
Its about 24x28
She's bound to love it!!!
Beautiful Jo Ann !
Where do you sell you paintings?
I have a gallery in Canandaigua NY ( Pat Rini Rohrer gallery)and one in the city of Rochester( Renaissance Gallery)
Where are yours mainly? We are occasionally in Canadaigua, more often in the city.
In Rochester the Renaissance Gallery is on St.Paul Street, hard to get to.
Canandaigua its on Main Street opposit the GoodyTwo Shop. Easier to park and get to.
There is something we go to on St. Paul, maybe a restaurant. I'll have to check them out. Thanks.
The gallery is away from the intersection of Main and St Paul ,near World Wide News at 74 St. Paul. Inthe old Warren Building.
