I was trying to come up with a good idea for a unique bird feeder and it was right there the whole time. My mother has a bay house near Galveston Bay and hurricane Ike tore up the area pretty badly. When we finally made it to the house to clean up, things were littered all over the place. A well was up against the garage door and when I examined it, the thing was somehow in perfect shape! Nobody in the area knew where it came from originally so I took it home with me at the end of the day. It was sitting in the yard on the side of the house when I got the idea to turn it into a feeder. Unfortunately the squirrels found it right away but the birds eventually found it. Anyway, here's my new/old bird feeder.
