Thanks again Lizzy!
Sheila who was the girl from Grandbury at the last Arlington Swap? She gave all those named Daylillies and Heleborus. She even gave me that huge Urn ... I owe her big time, but I cant remember her name.
North CENTRAL TX RU **April 5th ** in ARLINGTON (TRADES #1)
Not sure off hand who was from Granbury; here is a link to the pictures from fall RU in Alington last year. See if you can id her from it.

I have the ruellia and would like your texas gold columbine(hinckleyana). How about a trade?
Anna....
I have parsley (flat leaf) that I would love to trade for your white rain lily.
Sheila
TexasLizzy, I don't need ruellia but don't worry about trading...You can have the gold columbine
Sheila, would love the parsley. I have plenty of white rainlily for you.

Thanks Anna.
I have got to get my list going soon...I am missing out on some trades!
Anna, I could use Blackfoot daisy, Zexmenia, Columbine both kinds, Four nerve daisy, and spiderwort.
I have a white Turk's cap, and Artemisia powis castle, can you use those?
I will come up with other things too,
Josephine.
Oh Josephine I would like that Artemisia powis castle too. I promise to get my list up tomorrow.
Josephine, would love to trade all those natives for the white turk's cap.Yipee! I have powis castle. It's lovely.
Thank you Anna, I will find something else for you, instead of the artemisia.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sheila, 2 artemisia for you coming up.
Josephine.
I will take 2 white turk's cap if you have.
Banana, I have your yellow trumpet daf. You have two things I really want. ONe is the purple oxalis and the other is the fairy rose. I have the red turk's cap in the standard and in the giant. Would you happen to need either of those?
Charlene
Charlene, you had asked me for pink pavonia (rock roses) at the last RU and then you weren't able to make it. I don't have any new seedlings that are up yet, but I do have some seeds that I'm just about positive will sprout when the weather warms up. If you still want them, I will be glad to get them planted and started before the RU.
This is the part of the RU that scares me to death. I am totally intimidated. I have lots of sticks in soil that were dipped into the powdered root stimulator but not much show yet.
I have seeds in pots with not much show yet. Makes me just want to bow out.
I want to see all of you. Make friends with even more than I have already. I don't know the names of half what I have. I have tried very hard to catch up with the rest of you but I'm still "out there somewhere". After 4 years subscription, I am still not up to par. Trying really hard.
L O U C
Christi, don't be scared or intimidated! Just come. We all want to see you. If you have plants or seedlings, great; if not, well, we'll get to visit with you. :) Besides, you already shared a lot with some of us last fall.
I don't know what I'm going to have either. My bulbs and hellebores are blooming--oh, and the four-nerve daisies. So far, not much else is up. I will have some things to share. (Hey, there's always coneflowers, LOL.) But I went to 5 RU's last year, and if everything made it through the winter, I won't have a lot of room to plant new things. So mostly I'm just really looking forward to visiting with everyone.
Anna, could I have these plants from your list?
green and pink potato vine
daffodil (yellow with orange trumpets)
Mrs H Duelberg salvia/Augusta Duelberg
yarrow moonshine
mexican bush sage (purple and white)
I have ghost plant and all white daffodils with clusters of small blooms and 'Ice Follies' daffodils, white with yellow trumpets that turn cream. I am fairly sure that my cuttings of white shrimp plant are rooting. I'll be adding to my list during the next few weeks too.
Pbtxlady, I would love to have the pink pavonia if it is not too much trouble. Thanks for remembering that.
LouC I can't believe we haven't shown you as of yet the importance of just getting together. You are so full of baloney too as to your abilities! I know better! You know how much fun you will have and if you feel so intimidated by some of us who can barely grow a weed, then you need to come anyway!! We want to see you!
Charlene
charlenesplants, purple oxalis and fairy rose are yours. Is your daffodil mainly white?Do you still want mexican bush sage (purple and white)I know you missed it last RU. I have red Turk's cap, thanks.
Patrob, both those those daffs sound great and the ghost plant too. I did get a white shrimp at fall RU but if it didn't make it this winter ,I would appreciate yours.
Will add these to give you:
green and pink potato vine
daffodil (yellow with orange trumpets)
Mrs H Duelberg salvia/Augusta Duelberg
yarrow moonshine
mexican bush sage (purple and white)
Any chance either of you have a red DL?

Christi, what in the world are you feeling intimidated about? My goodness, we are still invalids almost. lol just bring your sweet self! All my hostas buddies are waiting for Pips to show up ... so I decided to take my cane, because I never know when that vertigo is going to hit me. The Helleborus are blooming like crazy and my White Metal bulbs are showing up, but I dont see eighty out there! I bought 80 of those bulbs, I bet they were planted with the tips down! See, this is when I get vertigo! :)
Christi dont let Josephine know you are using rooting harmone? LOL
Anna, I'm sure I will have some red daylilies if the danged deer ever find something else to eat. I'll put you down for some.
Pat I would like to have a Red DL too. ;) Pat what was the name of that tree I saw at the last swap. that I wanted one of?
I cant remeber the name for nothing and I want to beg someone for one. ... its the tree that have the long beans hanging off it.
Sylvia, I'll put you down for a red daylily, but I can't think what the tree with the long beans might have been. The last RU was so busy I'm sure I missed a lot of stuff. Some of my hostas are beginning to peek out already. I hope they don't get their new leaves frozen off ! It will be 80 degrees or more this week, but it could be well below freezing the next.
Banana, I have a red daylily. It is chicago apache. My daf is yellow w/ yellow trumpet. I would love the mexican sage, but I don't know if I have anything that you would like.
Charlene
Saving this spot for my list. I've never done this before. I have 194 starter pots with seeds in them and only a few coming up so far. Hopefully I will have some things soon. I will also be bringing some frog nicnacs to trade if anyone is interested. I have lots and I don't collect them any more.
Sylvia, could that tree have been Eve's Necklace? Here's a link with a good photo of its "beans." http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.dirtdoctor.com/pics/content_img.2045.img.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.dirtdoctor.com/view_question.php%3Fid%3D751&usg=__pzOFsMclGNl3t7nTYrvGhkZ9n1M=&h=480&w=319&sz=52&hl=en&start=3&sig2=V-wD0EdZ_dz-R31_OE069A&um=1&tbnid=RlmUuPU97BXKyM:&tbnh=129&tbnw=86&ei=lbmiSbr-EMrBmQfq8LGUDQ&prev=/images%3Fq%3Deve%2527s%2Bnecklace%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-US:official%26sa%3DN
I am glad to know that the name is Eve's Necklace and they are desirable. I have many of these growing all over. I thought they were just another tree that grew in the thicket. Little did I know.

charlenesplants, that is a fine trade. The sage needs to be dug up and it usually breaks apart easily.I have been searching for a red DL for a while. The last time I bought tubers they turned out to be yellow. So much for "Red Rum"
Wildcat.....Dig several of those little rascals and bring them to the swap. Just make sure to put a name on them, or we will forget before they get planted.
Coco Lulu, I am thinking about one of your climbing roses. Which would be good on a fence ? Interested in anything of mine?
Please remind me how to BOLD Thanks!
To bold, do this, but leave out the spaces: < b >
To stop bold, again with no spaces :< /b >
Sheila I never knew what Eve's Necklace was until I read it here and that is why I am here. Ain't no way I can go into the thicket and tell one stick from another without leaves and necklaces. I will look for necklaces when it get is daylight. I will put the digging project on hold and will consider future requests or whatever. LOL
If it helps to identify it, the wood of the Eve's necklace looks green when it is young.
Josephine.
Absolutely Yes!!! You lucky Lady, they are so beautiful when in bloom. Please collect some seed.
They are hard to transplant unless they are very small, they have a very deep taproot, so seeds and little trees is the best way to go, here is a link;
