Hey Everybody, I know it is hard to know what we might bring with this awful cold weather upon us, keep your spirits up, things will change soon.
Josephine.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Your right Josephine!

Just think about all the things that were in our gardens last year, and look at the spring trade list from last year. Pull up pictures of your yard and what was up in March that you have plenty of to share. Got plants you brought in last year that need cutting back and can be rooted?
Think Spring...think spring!!!

Glen Rose, TX(Zone 8a)

Howdy all,

Save me a spot. Building new greenhouse. Ordered bunch of seeds, pots, etc. Will bring some plants and wife, Linda, (she won't eat much. I hope.

Of course, Ted. I'll pot up a nice clump of bluestem grass for you. If you happen to have a start of the 'Haines' coleus, I'd love to have one. The one you gave me a few years ago was so beautiful, but I have managed to let it die. :>(

Patty, may I have some of your lady in red? I thought I had Tx Betony which is a perennial, but I had Salvia coccinea instead. I didn't save the seeds since I thought it would return. If mine comes up by self-seeding, I will let you know in time to share yours with someone else. I don't know how on earth you tell the difference between the two, except that one is an annual and one is perennial.

Charlene, I don't see Pattie's list yet, so I'm guessing you are talking to me. I have an abundance of 'Lady in Red' salvia and will pot some up for you. It behaves like a biennial here in zone 8a, at least when winters are mild like they have been lately, and also reseeds like crazy. I love it and have let it naturalize in my front island bed where I grow deer and drought resistant plants.

Oh Carl - If your firespike makes it, I'd love if you could set it aside for me. My husband fell in love when we saw one at the botanical gardens last fall & I've promised him I'd try to find us one. I don't have my trade list ready yet - but you can have first pick when I do!
