Donna would love to try to make it.. Will know better when you get your date figured out.. Tonys B-day is the 22nd of April so that weekend Im sure we wil be busy runnin him somewhere..
Sorry I went missing yesterday.. Max got home around one just as I was sitting down to start reading my new book and kept me busy in between chapters until he went back to work at 6.. The with clean up from dinner, homework and getting the kids to bed I was beat.. I sat and read until midnoght and actually read th ewhole book yesterday..lol I need to go to the library but the books Im readin gare on a waiting list.. Thats 2 books in 3 days and the middle day I didnt read at all.. Amazing even without glasses..Ssshhhh dont tell.
I just finished reading a great little book myself. It's called One More Night with the Frogs by Dr. Benny Tate. Very inspirational and really makes you see things differently. Ol' Pharoh told Moses "tomorrow" when asked when would he like God to get rid of the frogs.
Kathy is that black chicken one of the chicks that hatched this past summer or early fall? Pamela is growing! I can tell from the pictures! It's so good for her to be around this birds to learn about them and collect the eggs. How's pooh?
deborah, that is tinytot the chick that was only as big as my thumb when it hatched. i gave it to pam for her own
I thought so. It is a beautiful bird!
Just right for a beautiful blue eyed blond hurricane princess named Pamela.
Oh Kathy Pamela is the cutes baby and I am sure she wants to no everything and pick up all things
When My son was that age I gave him a cabinet in the kitchen and put all kind of thing in it for him to play with pot, pan, lid, wooden spoons, Tupperware . Than a Flashlight Later on and the best part a big old cardboard box for him to crawl in and out
Cody I fell asleep about 9 so thanks for not calling I guess I need the sleep
Donna I get alot of my glasses from the dollar store to read When I am layed off I read alot but It will take me about 1 hole day to read about 150 pages
Oh I am getting so excited For my trip One of the Ladies I need to meet Is Judy ( seedtosser1)she only live about 10 miles from me Judy we do need to meet
she is curios about everything, but pooh and the chickens are her favorite things. pooh is always with her
I'm glad she's able to bond with Pooh. He'll protect her when she's out in the yard too. Can't wait for pool pictures of them both with bubble baths!.
Kim, Judy is a doll! Must met her and when you do you'll kick yourself a thousand times for not meeting her sooner. She's a dear dear friend to all who met her. So much love to share.
Sorry Joyce. I have not gotten a chance to take a pic of the t-shirt on my bod yet. Hubby wont and daughters not here for a while. I have worn it 2 times now and I JUST LOVE the t-shirt. It is long sleeve and such soft fabric. Here is the picture I took when everything 1st arrived.
DID you know: Fertilizer
Aunt Jemima Original Syrup. Revive an ailing plant by adding 2 tablespoons of syrup at the root of the plant once a month.
Budweiser: Dilute one part Bud beer to 2 parts water and pour this mixture into the soil around azaleas, shrubs, and ornamental grasses to enrich the soil.
Budweiser, Epsom Salt, Ivory Dishwashing Liquid and Listerine: Mix 1 cup of each in a 1 quart jar. Spray this on up to 2,500 square feet of lawn in May and again in late June.
wow how perfect that she got her own chick.. Ibet that keeps her really busy.
Tony & Tristen both had the under th ecubbard obsession too! Tony did more but he liked to play in the bathroom and spray shaving cream everywhere when I wasnt watching> I guess Tristen didnt get into as much since Tony was so rotten he taught me what to watch for...lol
Kim I may try a pair from there. Im supposed to wear glasses but havent in almost 3 years since I broke mine.. Tony needed them and he has been through 4 pair and needs to go again.. I figure he needs them more than I doand I really think my eyes are getting better.. I still cant drive in dark without seeing all kinds of funy circles around lights though.. I just dont drive at night.. Hard when it raining too!
Deborah I will have to check out the book once I finish this series.. Im reading the Twilight series and love them so far. Each book is about 600 pages but I have always been a fast reader especially when I lik ethe book.. The first one (Twilight) I couldnt put down.. The second one (New Moon) had a few slow spots I didnt care for but my best friend warned me so I pushed throughand was very glad I did. Now I need t oget the thrid and spend a day or two to read it ut I must give my eyes a break for today..
Well Max just wandered out and down the hall so I better get running.. LOL Im in my jeans sock, shoes and my nihtgwn is tucked intto my jean sstill.. I look so goofy but you couldnt tell when I had my soat on to drop off the kids..
BBL Huggs
Donna
Tia what a wonderful package to get! Sorry you posted while I was typing..
See you all in a bit
Donna another book I just finished by Dr Tate is When You Follow A Star And Find A Stable. These books kept me so busy that I read them twice by reading parts of them to my mama over the phone. They were that good! That's what I was doing when y'all didn't here from me for a few days a couple of weeks ago.
Donna
I am on the last Book Of Twilight Saga I had taken 2 of the books with me on the trip and I had already read the second one so I had to wait till I got home for the last one I have only gotten the first 100 pages read and I am kind of trying to read this slow so When on my New adventure I can read it then
WOW, Tia Tina... I didn't know that about the syrup... I had heard about the beer though... so, it just goes to prove that nobody needs expensive fertilizers to have a nice garden.
Donna, I'm a daytime, Fair weather driver too... I don't think glasses can correct night blindness though... I have to wear mine all the time... can't even find the coffee pot without them. Tri focal, progressive lenses... I've wanted to get lazor surgery, but so far... just haven't looked into it.
Guess what... AFS is accepting applications for volunteers to represent the Texas area AFS to represent them at the National Volunteer Association thing that is going to happen Denver in April... My coordinator has asked that I apply... hmmm... what a privilege that would be... huh? I'm thinking about it... depends on Don's schedule, and if I can make arrangements for Mike to stay with someone... wonder if they'd let me take him with me? I'm sure he'd love to see Denver.
That is in the book that Jocye gave me, Joey Greens Gardening Magic. I love the book.
Take me to Denver with you also, I was born in Leadville. I want to have a Christmas in Leadville sometime with all my family but mom says we would hate it, being snowed in and all. Gosh I am sure they live thru it tho.
Tina, how is your mama doing? I haven't seen her post in a while.
got guinnea and sausage gumbo cooking. my roux came out perfect!
Oh, my Tia, Tina are you the "Unsinkable Molly Brown?" I do believe Leadville is where she was from--anyone?
All this talk about reading books--need to put my magazines down and get into a good book it sounds like!!
Donna, the "small" round up sounds like fun--keep us posted as I might just attempt to do that !!!
Dusty, dear, I know it was on the other thread but, but, but..was so excited to hear more so I was trying to catch you where ever I could!! You just don't post statements like that and disappear. LOL
So, Jaye, are the chopsticks still working on the Mystery 7 swap item? I received some fabric I had ordered yesterday so I have that washing in anticipation of doing some sewing today. Need to visit the grocery store first or no dinner for you tonight.
Oh BJ, you just made me feel so good about the tri's. Mine aren't progressive but I wear them everyday or see nothing clearly. I also have trouble with the night driving now. Was suppose to go to a memorial service for a friend from the Garden Club today but it was scheduled for late this afternoon. Driving with the truckers on the Interstate after dark is a no-no so I will be staying home.
Morning Deborah!!! How you doing today? Still cleaning? When you finish you can come do my house if you would like. LOL Suppose to be 70 today and it will be rough for me to do my errands and not stay in the yard. I am ready now to play in the dirt!!!
What time is dinner?
good morning sweet marion
